Two Elves, One Order

Coruscant.

The Sith Acolyte's speeder maneuvered through the buildings that littered his path on his way to the place that had once been the Jedi Temple upon Coruscant. Now, it was a One Sith Temple, an impressive structure that had been constructed once the rubble from the previous infrastructure had been cleared away.

It truly is impressive.

He thought to himself as he walked up the steps to the Sith Temple. He knew that he would be fresh meat to the Sith, that most would be trained in the ways of the Force while he was more or less made for quick and long-term combat. They'd have an advantage over him through the Force.

But he could do some things, that he had proven when he had been apart of Kaeshana's military.

Although that had been a long time ago.

Another life. Another person. Now I am Blackhand, no longer Gerion.

Upon his back was a single durasteel blade, and upon his waist were two disruptor pistols, his sole weapons while he continued his way up the steps.

Is it possible for me to be as strong as them? It has, if they can do it, I can do it.

He felt as if he were a child thinking like that, but it was reassuring enough. He began to walk up the steps that would hopefully lead him to his future as a Sith.

Cold, aurete eyes scanned the large training room in front of Helios as he watched Acolytes lined up by the dozens move in unison as a Sith Master stood in front of the large collective, barking commands as he choreographed a rotation of both lightsaber forms and unarmed combat. The young initiates had the hard, unwavering gaze of veteran soldiers although most of them were younger than thirty years old. From a balcony, the Eldorai Lord of Shadows observed the session, comfortable in the thought that everyone on the floor either were too afraid or unwilling to risk an upwards glance to lay eyes on Helios. Arms folded across his chest, he stayed until the conclusion of the class and once it ended Helios simply nodded to the Sith Master and turned on his heel to exit the auditorium.

Of the 64 students present at the session, Helios found non of them impressive although this didn't mean there wasn't any room for improvement and perhaps one day acknowledgement. But for the moment, Helios viewed them all as mongrels, like he did most people he came in contact with. Their human bodies were stiff and prone to diseases and viruses among other factors that Helios considered comparable to heathens and lesser beings. It made his stomach turn at times to look upon their faces, and Helios truly only showed less racism to those whom have been given the Dark Mark. Otherwise, it was usually unwise attempting to make conversation or even looking in his direction, as it would usually result in ridicule or even a demand for the onlooker to accept a duel from the Sith Lord.

Helios inhaled and exhaled sharply, expending a sound of obvious agitation, as he pushed open a door at the front of temple thinking to go to the Great Library, perhaps to converse with some of his fellow Brothers and Sisters to calm his nerves. Turning his head slightly so that his peripheral vision could see the door, he waited until it closed, then moved to descend the stairs but instead stopped as he noticed a sentient climbing them. He recognized the race of the male, immediately. 'An Eldorai? Here?' Helios thought to himself, although the shock didn't reach his visage. Rarely did his kind actually make it off of the planet, and even more surprising was the fact that one made it to the Sith's doorstep on Coruscant. He thought back on Kaeshana, and how his inherent hatred of the Lightside of the Force meant that he was to automatically become an opponent of the Star Queen, thus crimes associated with treachery and heresy are of not unusual labels to Helios. His upstart against her lead to him fleeing from the planet although the Lord of Shadows fully intended on returning to Kaeshana to revive a line of Holy Wars to replace the current Star Queen with someone...more fitting. That was a plan laid out for later dates, however.

Helios stopped at the top of the steps, and looked the young Eldorai up and down before clasping his hands behind his back and communicating verbally with him, a very uncommon trait for Helios whom refuses to speak to those he viewed as mongrels. Apparently the sentient in front of him got a pass just because of his ears.

"Are you lost?"

He looked up hen he felt as if someone was looking at him. At first he overlooked the Eldorai Sith Lord who was standing in the threshold, and looked up at the large Sith Temple, trying to find someone in a window or anything, but when he found nothing he finally found his gaze settling upon someone who looked familiar.

It wasn't that the Sith Lord in front of him was familiar to him, it was the fact that he was an Eldorai, and those tell tale pointed ears that identified him as an Eldorai. While the Eldorai Sith Lord looked him up and down, Astraios did the same; imagining how fast he could move, how long ago he had been upon Kaeshana, and what weapons he had upon him, and then he stopped when the Sith Lord spoke to him.

I never thought to see another Eldorai Sith. He must've been the first, and I am the second.

"No." Was his reply. He wasn't the talkative type, and he preferred to shorten responses rather than giving unnecessary details. It helped with that unknown factor, that he had utilized quite a bit when he had joined the Black Sun Syndicate.

Helios awaited his answer and after a moment a simple, 'no,' resounded from the young Eldorai. Helios' eyes lowered in observation as he wondered how a force sensitive from Kaeshana not only escaped the system already held in place for Force Users but how'd he even learn of the Sith and Jedi. Delight filled the aged Sith Lord as he realized the young one before him chose to come to this place, this planet, on purpose. Astraios would receive no combative quarrel from Helios.

"Are you sure this is what you want?"

Helios asked simply. With the darkside came a large pool of otherwise unattainable powers, but with it came a cost. There was a high chance of developing deformities, mental ailments, and a list of other negatives that came from following this route. And if Astraios agreed to walk inside with Helios, there would be absolutely no way to climb out of this rabbit hole.

He only spoke when it was necessary, and when he did he did his best to keep it as short as possible. His time in the Black Sun had proved to be helpful enough in helping him be the secretive fellow that he was today.

"I am certain."

Better time than any. Time to speed this introduction up.

He refrained from smirking and fell onto a single knee in front of [member="Darth Helios"]. He thought it the best course of action in such a situation, it would speed this process up, and then he'd be able to further his training in combat. Especially the Force which interested him greatly, but for some reason he felt that that wouldn't be his forte when he joined the ranks of the Sith.

Helios nodded in agreement and began to turn to issue the fellow Eldorai inside before watching him drop to a knee in front of the Sith Lord. Involuntarily, Helios turned and swung forth his right hand forcing Astraios back to his feet telekinetically before returning his hand to his side.

"You are to bow to no one." The prideful Eldorai exclaimed.

Usually bowing was exempt to only Knights and Masters, but Helios' extreme racism allowed Astraios to bypass these standards. Eldorai would bow to no other sentients within the One Sith, save for the Dark Lord.

"Our kind is to bow to no one. Not even each other." Helios said simply.

Perhaps he'd reacted a bit oddly, especially to be in his position, but Helios was an odd being.

"Come. We will go to the Arena to begin your training." And with that the Lord of Shadows turned on his heel and moved to go back inside the building, assuming Astraios would follow behind.

"What is your name, young Eldorai?"

The Sith Acolyte had been planning to wait until the Sith Lord had turned to go inside, before he would rise, but [member="Darth Helios"] had something else in mind and he had turned around within a moment and for a second Astraios thought he would be struck with a wall of the Force and be thrown to the ground, but instead he had been pulled to his feet. It had been unexpected and a frown crossed his face for but a moment before it disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared.

From then on, he continued to stand up straight-backed and had already decided to not bow to anyone else within the One Sith. No one. Unless this Sith Lord decided to tell him otherwise.

"Yes, Master." He said once they had begun to walk inside the Sith Temple. "My name is Astraios. What is yours?"
