Name: Sixty First Mobile Infantry Company- Twilight Company
Intent: To create an infantry company for those wishing to write as footsoldiers, based on the canon Twilight Company of the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War.

Description: During the days of the Galactic Alliance, a certain mobile infantry company rose to infamy- the 61st. Also known as Twilight Company, they were known for their motto "Twilight Survives." Operating with nothing but a gunship for escort and a corvette as a troop transport, they moved around the galaxy under the directives of Alliance High Command. Their pinnacle, however, was at the Battle of Sullust where they singlehandedly fought off an Imperial garrison and drove a Star Destroyer out of orbit, sparking a rebellion that freed the world from Imperial control.
With Sullust now serving as the capital of the Galactic Alliance, it seemed fitting to recreate Twilight Company. It wasn't quite the same now, given they had actual territory, but in essence and spirit, it was the same. Just like the motto. Twilight survives. They're composed of whomever has reason to join the Company, even allowing open recruitment directly into the Company.
In essence, they are a light infantry company, meant to move quickly and secure ground until the heavier forces can arrive. It's a brutal job, but they survive.
