"This conflict has become ridiculous! Figure out what they want and appease them, or stall them long enough for a crushing counter-offensive..."
-
Diviak Manfloon
Kadora'Tra had never felt so haggard in all of her short life. Becoming an adult hadn't felt much different than the rest of her life, yet somehow the entire universe had decided to come down on her with impossible pressure. What really bugged her was that she had the insight to see it coming. Xan Deesa, a woman she hired to suss out the bizarre duplicates of criminals and corporate employees, kept running into her personal life. Apparently, she saw Kadora'Tra as responsible for blowing up her apartment that same night, and eventually "returned the favor" by interrogating Kadora'Tra in her own quarters and stealing CorpSec data before blowing her part of the barracks to kingdom come. Then, of course, there was the time when the woman had helped to celebrate her first real birthday in an Altier pub with an old childhood friend (that was before she blew up her personal quarters).

But the reason why the woman was on her mind now, was their most recent conversation and... arrangement.

She hadn't believed it at the time or at least didn't think that Darkwire was really capable of it, but what Xan told her was now fully played out before her. A DireX assassinated, CAD's economy destabilized beyond all recognition, Corporate power grabs precipitating additional assassinations and assassination attempts on lower Direx Board members, CorpSec deployed more aggressively and recruitment an all-time priority, full out warfare on Altier, pirate skirmishes directed out from Wann Tsir, and constant riots on Belazura. Almost overnight it felt as if the entire region had simply collapsed. After Altier became untenable, and after Marlene Starlight made it her mission to clear out Darkwire and any gangs in the way on Denon, Diviak Manfloon saw to it that he maintained influence over Belazura as Luminous Sun's influence grew.

This was why she was marching to an undeveloped lakeside on Belazura with her company of CorpSec troops under her command as Captain, to meet with "Zenitha's Rebellion". It was two parts media campaign, one-sixth popular movement, and one-large-sixth Darkwire front, and they had practically shut down the major mining operations on the planet run by Diviak Manfloon's Mining Union. It wasn't immediately clear due to the cliff face blocking her line of sight and muffling the sound, but she knew that Darkwire was close by.

How? One might ask.

An awful taste in music blasting into the air the Farghul had heard a kilometer away, enduring it longer than the human troops surrounding her, with their comparatively subpar senses. Now they would all equally face the full brunt and power of a criminal foam party in full swing.

"What the hell is this?" Kadora'Tra roared, barely heard by even the nearest passerby.

"Oh great, party poopers are here. Yo fuzz-butt is here to talk, someone go get her a handler!" The degenerate shouted into the crowd, before diving into the throng of beachgoers himself. Kadora'Tra looked to her Lieutenants Lonnie and Kyle. Lonnie shrugged dismissively, and Kyle winced.

"Kyle, this is your fault somehow."

Turntable Truce - Attempt to negotiate with the filthy Corpos, or don't, while partying like animals.

Belazura Bop - Screw the Corpos, make lots of noise, ignore them, mess with them, or just socialize with whoever. It's a party after all.

A lot had been going on for Sutaz since her time on Wann Tsir. She'd faced a lot of change, specifically in terms of financial wealth. Buying all that gear and reselling had been a massive boost in her money. Enough for her to put in the bank and live comfortably without having to do merc work ever again. Though, that wouldn't stop her. She had goals, things to do, and in her mind, people to save. She would continue seeking to expand her power. Her goal now wasn't to become a corpo, no. She would never sink to such disgusting depths. No, she wanted to take her money, and the influence she one day hoped to have, in order to make her own underworld kingdom. It was a big plan, one which would have to go slowly. Her plan now that she wasn't bogged down by merc work was to spend her time doing stuff for darkwire, and making tech which she plans to sell the patent for, in order to get a percentage of royalties from the sales. She had ideas she wagered would sell pretty well.

Either way, that was business, and for today, business was for later. She'd been sitting on an old crate, sipping from a bottle of wine while idly talking with the other folk at the party. Then one of her cybernetic head tentacles suddenly straightens up aboce her head, the end of it opening like a dish satellite as it scans to pick up the yell of a certain cat. Kadora, of course. This was going to be awkward. She'd hoped not to run into Kadora again for a long time. It's why she came to the birthday party. She pursed her lips, nervous. She turns her black eyed gaze to the trandoshan she'd idly been talking to, and gives a helpless shrug. "Sorry scales. I seems I gotta go." Setting the bottle aside, she slides off the crate and begins to wade through the partying crowd towards the exit area, which also happened to be the entrance. Unluckily for her, fate was not kind.

Thinking she was almost to the exit, she pushed her way past two people to end up right in front of Kadora and her other former program members. All her tentacles shiver at once as she chuckles nervously. "Uh...Kadora. Long time no see." She gives a playful salute. "How've you been?" She takes a package from white coat she was currently wearing. "Want some earplugs?" Not everyone here was darkwire, some were just partiers. Should have to just pray Kadora assumed she was amongst the party animals. She was known for doing delinquent esque things these days after all.

She was in the usual attire that covered the cybernetic lines on her body. A black form fitting bodysuit, with a short white jacket, and a pair of skinny jeans with black leather boots..
