Osseriton
Let’s Make A Deal
Kyrel Ren Kyrel Ren

The Captain began to grow impatient.

His client said that they were to arrive ten minutes ago, and the pirate already wanted out of here. Being deep in Maw space was something no person wanted. The Maw were dangerous people, and not one people messed with. But wasn't just going to let them push him around either. That is why price alone of the information he had could provided people for a lifetime, and that is why he wanted this deal done now.

Located in one of the many abandoned buildings within the inner city, the angle at which he stood did not provide much cover. Exposed buildings were never a good sign. No cover meant a chance of getting shot. Most of his impatience stemmed from there, and some worry too.

The request for him to come alone didn't sit well either. One on one meetings with people like these get you killed. All of his business meetings were attended by at least two of his guards. The pirate could hold up his own, but it was always nice to have some extra backup. Especially with the Maw.

"This is ridiculous. He should be here by now."

Pyrrah prayed this wasn't a set up for some smaller organization to try and steal this information. What he possessed could crumple the Galactic Alliance, make him an ally of the Maw, and let him and his crew loot the streets of Coruscant with ease. It would turn the tide in the galaxy forever. The Maw would become one of the most powerful forces in the Unknown Regions.

That was, if his price was paid in full, of course.

Times were a changing, with the war soon on the horizon to change the balance of power in the galaxy. With the Bryn a race not adaptive, not strong enough to take on the galaxy. The Maw had no rivals, the crumbling Sith Empires of old utterly destroyed. There was only one vision that would govern the galaxy, the Maw and the vision the Avatars beheld. As the Maw said always there was only War, Death, Rebirth. Such was the way until the end of the great journey. Kyrel did not approach the business meeting he had arranged with the man known as Pyrrah Tae for the sake of the Maw. He approached it to further his own ambitions of using what intel there was to rise within the ranks. To gain Solipsis's favor until the moment was right to strike him down and take all there was for himself.

With the Sith gone, the only enemies were the New Imperial Order, and the Galactic Alliance. The Confederacy meant little difference as they remained neutral, the Bryn only restricted to one race and ideology they were dying in this new galaxy. Kyrel had made the place for the meeting, and made sure no one followed. Not even Solipsis would know of this deal, for if the rumors were correct this man had sensitive knowledge for the Maw to strike the heart of the Alliance. Some say a Hyperspace route the likes haven't seen since the final days of the Clone Wars, and Kyrel was intent on acquiring that knowledge for himself alone.

Within the darkness of an abandoned building set to be condemned within the inner city on Osseriton. The meeting itself was very secretive, Kyrel did not even travel with his Knights of Ren on this mission. He waited within the darkness of the building. When the man spoke of his irritation, slowly heavy foot steps of boots were heard. The hulking figure of Kyrel Ren emerged, within the dark his hooded and masked appearance with his eyes staring deeply towards the business man gave an unsettling and eerie presence. Kyrel spoke with a deep growl in his voice. "Apologies, Mr. Tae... It was paramount that no one knew or followed either one of us for this transaction. That's if you have the intel the Maw requires.... Do name the price for it of course.." He said approaching more to the business man, the hunger for the force sensitive blood was something hard to ignore, and yet he tried to hold it back, only approaching to stand a foot away from the man in the same eerie way..

As shiver went down his spine at the sound of the unknown voice.

Turning around, the man was faced with a hooded figure ominously approaching. His hand began to reach for his lightsaber until he was addresed by his name. Realizing that it was the Maw client, the pirate relaxed slightly. Yet his guard was till kept.

Reaching into his pocket, the man pulled out a secure carrying case. After putting in the correct number combination, the case opened to reveal a datachip. Carefully, the man grabbed it out to let the hooded figure inspect.

"This datachip has the information about the Hyperlane that leads only one system away from the planet Coruscant. The route hasn't been traveled on in thousands of years, so the Alliance will never see you coming."

Before passing over the datachip to the Sith, the pirate pulled back the case. Not until full payment was given first.

"As we discussed, I requested 150 million credits, some spoils of your war to sell, and immunity from any Maw attack. And don't try to shortchange me, Ren. I know the Maw can pay full price for what this information can do."
