Personality, STRENGTHS, AND WEAKNESSES

His loyalty to Isolda and by extension the Ember of Vahl is like that of a zealot and because he can understand Basic, people who speak heresy in his presence should be prepared for a fight for their life.
+Lightsaber Resistance: The plaster white skin that covers Turin's new Sithspawn form is made from Keratin, the same material that fingernails are made of. A painful process in his transformation it was forced from his body and treated in a strange alchemical vat giving his body a thin but durable exoskeleton giving him protection from blaster bolts and standard power lightsabers.
-Don't be fooled though. Beskar and its many alloys along with Alchemically treated weapons, Force imbued weapons and high concentrated bursts from blasters or lasers will cut through. The shell is only meant for quick relief.
-Setting a lightsaber's power setting even a tiny bit higher than normal will also cut right through
+Brutal: You will not find any mercy in the black eyes of this monster. His fighting style has a low self-preservation value and it will use anything and everything in its environment to kill you.
-Distracted: As the Alpha Hound within the Coven he is linked mentally to nearly all other lesser Hounds as well as Darth Isolda. Severing that link through anti-Force bubbles and the like sends him into a shocked, catatonic state with various severity.
Powers and Abilities
In life before becoming a Sithspawn, Turin held a wide array of skills and abilities. Now as a Hound of Vahl his repertoire of abilities in the Force have become quite limited. His mind molded to the precise specifications of the High Priest of Vahl, Darth Isolda, most of his memories have been eradicated, all but those that pertained to fighting. His skill with bladed weapons is far more sophisticated than one would expect from a mind in a state such as his now and his mastery over Telekinesis is frightening.
Trained in several Force traditions throughout his life, Turin in his new state has taken what he has learned from all of his Masters and created his own style, though to say he did such a thing on purpose would be a stretch. He simply fights comfortably and with focus, changing how he fights depending on the situation. The Way of the Rancor would be the easiest way to describe it, though even saying that could give an enemy the wrong impression on the uses and limitations of the way he fights.
Even in life Telekinesis was one of Turin's greatest strengths. However, now his brutality gives new life to this art and the works he creates can be terrifying. His strength in the Force has also manifested itself in the skill of Force Lightning and Kinetite, abilities that replace the many others he had learned in life such as Force Combustion and use of the White Current. He also has access to Force Body, though he only uses it in dire emergencies, and often in the defense of others.
The Life of Republic Navy Lieutenant Turin Val Kur

Turin Val Kur as a fighter Pilot of the Republic Navy
For generations the Val Kur were noble servants of the Empire as Imperial Knights, soldiers, and pilots. however sometime during the 400 year darkness part of the family relocated to what is now the Galactic Republic. Turin was born into this family as an only child, both his father and mother serving in the Galactic Republic Navy. However due to his Force sensitivity the Jedi attempted to take him away at a young age. With generations of distrust towards the Jedi, Turin was instead sent back to the Empire to live with his Uncle and receive a proper military upbringing and eventually join the Imperial Knights. His parents decided that if he was to use the Force, it should be for the good of the people and not 'the Force'. And so at the age of five, Turin was sent to Bastion to begin his new life. Years passed by and though Turin's scores in the classroom were high, his own personal well-being was in question. As in he was going through his rebellious stage. However, this stage morphed into more of a personality, creating a smart-mouthed, trouble making soldier.
Immediately following his graduation from the military academy, he was drafted into the Imperial Knights to continue his military training as well as nurture his connection to the Force. Over the next three years Turin trained under the Knights, excelling in both the use of the Force and lightsaber combat Turin was a natural Knight. However, he yearned for the life in the stars and thought the Knights had piloting programs, it just wasn't enough. This attitude brought on friction with the Knights, eventually causing his expulsion from the program.
For a year Turin lived on the stars. It wasn't that he wanted to be away from anyone its just that he had no home in the Empire and he felt his parents would never accept him back after his failure. And so he did what he knew how to do best, he flew. He flew with a smuggling ring for a few months and was captured by the GR, specifically, his father. During his sentence of eight months for smuggling spice Turin's father pulled a few strings in order to get out four months early, replacing his prison time with four years of military service. However those four years became the best of his life. Starting from the low rank of Ensign he rose through the ranks as his prowess in flight earned him many accolades and now a lieutenant he continues to serve.
An Awakening
Continuing his career, Turin and his squadron were bounced around from Captain to Admiral to Captain more times than he could count. However, during one of the Republic's attempts to add another planet to their fold Paladin squadron was added to the crew of Captain @[member="Sophia Walsh"]. Unfortunately this prodigy was also very hard on him, mostly due to his insubordination and almost blatant disregard for regulation. He spent many a night polishing hangar floors and X-Wings as punishment. However, despite the seeming mutual hate of each other's presence they grew a sort of mutual friendship.
A few months after being transferred the mechanical menace named Omni rose, his droid army killing millions. Turin was out at the time, roaming the streets of Couruscant. It was here, in a bar he regularly came to that his life was almost stolen from him. As people were killed around him, he attempted to save who he could, but he just wasn't enough. In a last ditch effort to save himself and those around him he mustered what he could and touched the Force again after almost a decade. This drained him, and stalled the droids long enough for Republic security to come in and sweep up. He was the only survivor in the bar.
After that he fought many battles against Omni and his army. However, touching the Force after so long created a problem as his normal senses and his Force awareness constantly conflicted, causing him to hallucinate often. He also had migraines as he felt people from all over dying violent deaths in Omni's wake. Seeking the help of Grandmaster @[member="Darron Wraith"]. Though his meeting was insightful it did not stop the pains. Without consulting any medical aid he continued to fly, which almost cost hundreds of lives.
During the final battle between Omni and the Allied Forces, he was tricked by one of Omni's droids. Allowing it to find its way into the ship where he docked. It destroyed the GN-Throne he was piloting and cut through the ship. Wounded and running on adrenaline alone he attempted to follow the metal beast whom was headed for the bridge where his captain, Sophia, had been. He arrived too late as the bridge had been torn to shreds. Fortunately the crew was able to fend off the attack and destroy the droid, however Captain Sophia Walsh was injured. The guilt of Sophia's injury never left his heart and took hold there.
After recovering from his injuries during the Final Battle he decided that it was past time to figure something out about his Force Sensitivity. The Republic's military doctors had suspended him from flight until his migraines and nightmares came to a halt and so he began training under Master @[member="Feena"] Mason. A hard teacher, she whipped Turin into shape, remolding his personality and his views. This led to him coming to terms with his feelings for Sophia, driving him to ask her to a cup of caf which sparked a mutual relationship between the two Navy officers. Since then he has continued his Jedi training, increasing his intensity as he was recently nominated to be Knighted. It was around this time that he began working on his lightsaber as well.

During a period of relative "peace" in Turin Val Kur's life, his lover, @Sophia Walsh was kidnapped by a duo of Sith Knights. After finding this information Turin took flight, injuring several Naval Officers and damaging several starfighters in the process. Unable to pinpoint the location of the kidnappers, Turin turned himself in to the RSFU on Couruscant. However, due to his father @Vincent Val Kur's new status as an Admiral and his position of Jedi Knight in the Republic, he was given a simple House Arrest charge and locked in his home. As the days went on he slowly became obsessed with saving his lover.
He couldn't handle it anymore and resorted to the extreme. Killing the two RSFU officers that guarded him at his home he stole their car, encountering resistance he failed to steal enough gems to pay for the ransom. Barley escaping with his life he crashed on Felucia where his obsession with saving Sophia drove him to learn from a mysterious Force user. Though the skills he learned were useful, it was too late. @Jonathan Walsh had secured Sophia's saftey by the time Turin had gotten off planet, making his status as a galactic wanted criminal. With his career in the military shattered and left ultimately unable to contact Sophia Turin was thrown into despair, left wandering the Galaxy attempting to find someone to blame for his misfortune...

The quick rise and fall of yet another Empress attempting to bring the Empire back to its glory days was but a star on a map. However, during that time, Turin received his second saber, a silver bladed Imperial Knight's lightsaber as recognition of his service to the Empire. Just as quickly as it rose to any semblance of power though, did warmongering war chiefs attempt to split the Empire down the middle, leaving it weak and a prime target for the Sith Empire.
With little training and time with the Knights, Turin was forced to take on a leadership role during the Sith invasion and prior battles between war chiefs. With his ragtag group of Knights and Initiates, Turin hoped to use their power to bring peace to the Empire and place a new ruler on the throne as quickly as possible. This turned into a mission to save as many civilians as possible as the fights between war chiefs became more and more violent, climaxing at the Sith's invasion. Many, if not all of his Knights and Initiates died that day, if they did not surrender to the Dark Side, leaving Turin once again with no home.

Turin Val Kur as a Jedi Master With the Conclave
He fought back against the two hunters and barley escaped with his life, crawling back to the Silent Conclave where he rested and regained his strength. Once healed, he contacted Sophia Walsh. The two met outside of the Republic where she told him that she had moved on to the CIS, whom at the time was allied publicly with the Sith. This angered him, though he did not confess this to her. Instead he cut the conversation short and told her that the two could quite possibly never be together agian. It broke his heart, and he knew it broke hers, but he couldn't live with what he had done, what he had failed to do and he couldn't ally himself with someone who thought the Sith were good allies.
Immediately after returning from his trip with Sophia he began training, both body and mind. It took the pressure off of him, and helped distract him from the woman he had left behind. He took up book reading and meditation, re-learning the basic skills set of the White Current that Ember Rekali had attempted to teach him. He trained day in and day out for several months to attain a level where he could enter the White Current through intense concentration. By extension, through the meditation and physical training he put himself through he also honed his telekinesis and dueling skills. But then he got a call that would change his life, and his allegiances once again...
Coming "Home" to the place of his ancestors, the Fel Imperium, Turin began his basic Knightly training. Despite him having a new home, and people who looked up to him, he didn't feel like it was the place for him to be. They were a violent, conquest driven people and none of what they did sat right with him. However it wasn't until Sophia had told him that she had a new love did Turin finally drop out of the Imperium. He worked with her new lover, and couldn't stand the sight of him, it made him sick.
Of course, his time with the Knights like many other things in his life, was short. Ended abruptly by a phenomena he never fully understood. Transported to a planet of unknown origin he felt the need, the lust for death. Death of Sophia Walsh, however he was denied this by the man who he thought stole her from him, one Josiah Denko.
The two fought for a short time in the dark, malevolent land they had been transported to, and as quickly as it began...It was over. His rage, his hate, gone he found himself among the members of the Silent Conclave once again, looking in on himself in reflection through meditation. Now the Conclave called themselves the Levantine Sanctum, and with his skills as a pilot he ran supply runs and aided in the evacuation of the Fallanssi order of the White Current.
With piloting back in his life again, things seemed to be looking up. He still had much to learn, primarily with the Current, though they continued to deny him, he would sit and attempt to imitate their lessons and their meditations. But everything changed when the One Sith returned from its long slumber. With a single, brutal strike they sacked Coruscant and displaced the Jedi. Hatred burned again in the young man's heart as his home destroyed by the Sith. Turin began to use the Force to judge where the heaviest fighting would be and jumped into the fray, an unexpected ally of the Jedi.
But a certain force has grabbed his attention, drawing him closer and closer to the Sith. A dark cloud hides his most violent vivid visions, a man and a woman towering over fields of the defeated.

Turin Val Kur as a part of the Dark Side Cult Ember of Vahl
Some time after becoming acclimated to life in the Sanctum the One Sith made their return, as powerful as ever. In a powerful all out strike they shook the Republic to their knees, taking the capitol world of Coruscant. Angered at the destruction of his home he returned to the battlefield aiding under the Alias Tristan. He was a freelance Force User who fought against the Sith. In one such battle however while defending several Padawans and Knights against two Sith lords he was captured.
Weeks of imprisonment and torture, mostly mental at the hands of [member="Darth Isolda"] were brought to a sudden end however when Darth Ira released him under her explicit command he was detained by the madwoman, driven to the edge of insanity by none other than Darth Isolda herself. In an emotionally charged fight between her father, [member="Ember Rekali"] Turin took the chance end the fight once and for all, sending the mad Sith into a critical state destroying nearly everything around her in the beginings of a Force Storm. In order to calm her the Witch continued to bathe Ira in Force Light, splitting the chain that was choking his daughter, his partner, @Skye Metraal putting Turin to sleep with a powerful tranquilizer dart.
However the damage had been done. A sinkhole opened up beneath the saved Jedi and Turin. It was then that something primal and dark rose up within Turin. A seed planted by the Sith Seer while he was still in the clutches of the Sith. Consumed by the Dark Side he instinctively used the Force to will himself to move and ignore the tranquilizer. Force Body. Saving his teacher's daughter from eminent doom he fled the scene, stealing Ira's shuttle and headed back to Sanctum space.
His wounds were grievous. Scars and burns covered seventy percent of his body and upon his return he was brought to heal by Rosa Gunn, a healer in the Sanctum. But his desire to kill Isolda pushed him to find revenge. When he was stopped by Rosa, a fight ensued that would morph his desire to kill Isolda into a desire to serve. Defeating Rosa he took her to the evil woman and together with [member="Darth Odium"] they molded Rosa into a powerful Dark Sider, ripping her away from her husband and the rest of the Sanctum. Now a true servant of the Ember of Vahl, Turin left his name to the ripples of the past and adopted a new name. Vaermina, Hound of Vahl.
The New Hound of Vahl

Turin Val Kur being undergoing his transformation
The years that followed Turin served Isolda as a faithful assassin and personal guard. Corrupted by the Dark Side he saw to her every whim. A loyal servant he was also tasked to observe the growth and general safety of [member="Darth Nephthys"]. However, during the One Sith's Invasion of Mannan the destruction of the power generator keeping Ahto city afloat was sabotaged by the Sith. This was happened during Turin's duel with a gun slinging Force User and the resulting flooding and mayhem caused was enough to shift the battle in his opponent's favor. An incredible shot, carefully calculated to deflect off of Turin's own lightsabers ended the fight. A grievous wound to the nape of his neck.
Nephthys was able to save his paralyzed, drowning body however and brought him back to Isolda. Her trust in his skill was quietly discussed negatively among the other Priests and even as they proceeded to provide candidates of their own to become Isolda's new Hound of Vahl, she persisted, creating a true Hound of Vahl through ancient alchemy and Sith Magic. The resulting transformation was painful, but gave him the use of his body back and saved his life, though the cost of which would not become apparent to any party involved until afterwards.
Devoid of anything that once made him Turin Val Kur, he was made into something far more sinister, a powerful Sithspawn at the beck and call of Darth Isolda.

A rampaging Alpha, Turin was left to his madness.
