A cape could be made with any of the materials on one side, and then the other given a shimmer silk layer. This versatility would allow the wearer to either be fashion forward by revealing only the shimmer silk side, or use the protection and properties of the other side.
She had tried to weave the fabrics together but the effects became weaker so she went back to designing a complete outfit from the material.
