DARTH MISIS
- BACKGROUND
-
Tumi Hennirt was always more interested in understanding how things worked than in understanding people. From an early age she showed an unusual talent for mathematics, engineering, and the study of the Force. Where other students saw limits, Tumi saw questions. How much energy could a body withstand? How far could the Force push matter before it broke apart? Could gravity be manipulated rather than merely endured?
Her curiosity eventually brought her to the Sith. Tumi did not initially join because she wanted power over others. She wanted access to knowledge the Jedi refused to pursue. The Sith were willing to let her experiment, and that freedom mattered more to her than their ideology.
Over time, Tumi became Darth Misis. Her research became increasingly dangerous, particularly her experiments involving energy, gravity, matter, and the Force. She has killed people during experiments, but rarely because she enjoyed their suffering. To Tumi, the deaths were failures, costs, or occasionally unavoidable results. That distinction does little to comfort anyone who has seen her laboratory.
Unlike many Sith, Tumi has little interest in ruling through fear or making grand declarations. She prefers results. If destroying a ship teaches her something useful, she will destroy it. If sparing an enemy provides better information, she will spare them. Her cruelty is therefore strangely inconsistent. She can show genuine mercy to someone she considers useful or innocent while ordering an entire squadron destroyed without hesitation.
Her greatest ambition is not simply to become more powerful. Tumi wants to discover something that nobody else has discovered before. She believes the Force, physics, and the boundaries between life and death are parts of the same system, and she intends to understand that system even if she has to break countless rules to do it.
- PERSONALITY
-
Tumi is quiet, patient, and usually difficult to intimidate. Most of the time she simply watches, thinks, and eventually says what she has decided. She has an almost irritating habit of treating conversations like experiments. She asks questions because she genuinely wants to know the answer, even when the question makes someone uncomfortable.
Tumi can spend hours discussing a scientific problem and barely notice that the person she is speaking to has become bored or offended. She is not without empathy, but she has trouble giving it the same importance other people do. Tumi understands suffering intellectually far better than emotionally. She can recognize that someone is afraid without necessarily understanding why their fear should change her decision.
Despite being a Sith, she has certain lines she refuses to cross. She dislikes pointless cruelty, torture for entertainment, and killing someone simply to prove that she can. She considers such behavior wasteful and childish. This does not make her kind. It simply means that when Tumi hurts someone, she usually believes there is a reason.
Her biggest personal flaw is her curiosity. Once she believes something is possible, she finds it extremely difficult to leave it alone. Warnings only make her more interested. She will sometimes risk her own life simply because she cannot tolerate not knowing the answer. Tumi also has a quiet arrogance. She rarely says that she is smarter than someone else. Instead, she assumes it. Being proven wrong can bother her more than losing a fight.

STRENGTHS
Cold Scientific Mind — Tumi is exceptionally good at separating emotion from a problem. On the battlefield she can identify weaknesses, calculate risks, and make decisions without hesitation. This makes her frighteningly effective against opponents who expect a Sith to fight emotionally.
Dangerous Curiosity — Tumi is constantly learning. She studies technology, physics, the Force, medicine, chemistry, and anything else that might answer her questions. Her knowledge gives her solutions that most Force-users would never consider.
Quiet Authority — Tumi does not need to threaten people constantly to command attention. She speaks rarely, but when she does, people generally listen. Her reputation for competence does much of the work for her.
Unorthodox Warfare — Tumi rarely fights according to tradition. She uses the environment, technology, gravity, explosives, machinery, and the Force together. An opponent preparing for a conventional lightsaber duel may discover that she has no intention of giving them one.
Even Evil Has Standards — Tumi does not enjoy suffering for its own sake. She has been known to spare civilians, release prisoners, or stop another Sith from engaging in unnecessary cruelty. These decisions occasionally make her difficult for other Sith to understand.
WEAKNESSES
Curiosity Killed the Sith — Tumi has difficulty walking away from an unanswered question. She may investigate something dangerous when the sensible decision would be to leave it alone. Her greatest discoveries and worst mistakes often come from the same personality trait.
The Need to Be Right — Tumi dislikes being intellectually challenged, particularly by someone she considers less intelligent than herself. She can become stubborn when presented with evidence that contradicts her theories and may spend too long trying to prove herself correct.
People Are Not Equations — Tumi understands physical systems better than she understands emotions. She can misjudge loyalty, resentment, love, and fear because she assumes people will behave rationally when they often do not.
Detached Morality — Her lack of interest in suffering does not prevent her from causing it. Tumi can convince herself that a terrible act is acceptable if the result produces useful knowledge. She knows this is dangerous but has never fully decided where her own ethical limits should be.
Overconfidence in Preparation — Tumi is at her best when she has time to study a problem. Surprise attacks, chaotic situations, and opponents who behave irrationally can throw her off balance. She sometimes struggles when there is no time to calculate the variables.
Fear of Ignorance — Beneath her confidence is a genuine fear of dying without understanding the things she has spent her life studying. Tumi can tolerate defeat. She has a much harder time accepting that some questions may simply have no answer.
