Armaments:
Nerve Gas*
Generally comes equipped with one of two basic nerve agents, deployed in aerosol form through the droids 'mouth'. Both stock nerve aganets are colourless, tasteless and scentless. They take on average ten minutes between deployment and lethality if an optimum dose is delivered. Lethality can be prevented if an appropriate antidote is delivered and the toxin is flushed from the system in time, though permanent nerve damage can result if treatment is not swift.
  • Lasting - This nerve agent blocks the action of acetylcholinesterase resulting in violent contractions followed by a sustained supercontraction which leads to paralysis of all the muscles of the body. The most common cause of death is asphyxiation when the diaphragm muscles are paralysed. It is extremely hard to completely remove from the area it is deployed in. It is effective both through skin contact and inhalation. Largely used on enemy territory when destruction and mayhem are the name of the game.

  • Immediate - Works very similarly to the lasting nerve agent, the major difference being that it swiftly dissipates and an area is safe to enter roughly a week after deployment. This can be shortened by creating more impurities in the agent, however doing so increases the time before lethality.

Combustible Bomb
In the event that it is destroyed, each TSD-V1 comes equipped with am internal temperature controlled quartz vessel containing a highly flammable and explosive liquid. This can be triggered by the droid itself if certain parameters are met, or is often accidentally triggered by the droids destroyers as lightsabers, blaster fire or slugs strong enough to destroy the droid generally also shatter the quartz vessel or ruin the temperature control. The liquid within is flammable enough that it sets sand a light and cannot be extinguished through conventional means.

EMP bomb
Basically a scaled up EMP grenade, in the event that a TSD-V1 comes under heavy attack by droids it will detonate an EMP bomb, destroying both itself and in theory it's attackers. This generally also sets off it's combustible bomb.

Durasteel Blade Fingers
Continuing it's role as a demoralizer, the TSD-V1 is equipped with bladed fingers. These are largely only effective versus civilians and other unarmoroured or extremely lightly armoured opponents.

Misc. Equipment:
  • Analytical computer
  • Precision servomotor
  • Multiwave visual sensor
  • Full Spectrum Transceiver
  • Jump Jets - Small, cheap jump jets were installed on the back of the TSD-V1 to help handle battlefield hazards as well as to allow an otherwise crippled unit to make a final approach at an enemy before utilizing one of it's weapons. It can reach a height of roughly .6m and the jets can be utilized for no longer than 5 minutes in total before needing to be refuelled.

Description:
The TSD-V1 or Toxic Suicide Droid is made with one aim in mind. Demoralization. You will never see ranks upon ranks of them in battle because that would be hugely inefficient due to their myriad of weaknesses. They are however, fast and terrifying, best used far away from your own troops.

Weaknesses:
  • No Ranged Weaponry - Other than their explosions, and even those are limited, the TSD-V1 needs to close with the enemy in order to do any damage. In an open area a prepared and heavily armed opponent could simply pick them off before they become a threat.
  • One Hit Wonders - Between being made of a materials that's extremely hard bordering on impossible to repair and the fact that they are largely created to be destroyed, overuse of these can get costly, as it's almost guaranteed that any TSD-V1 that goes into combat against anything other than civilians will not be coming back.
  • Cannot Mix Troops - It's weaknesses cannot be mitigated by pairing it with other troop types due to the nature of its attacks. It is too dangerous to both organics and droids.
  • Vulnerable to EMP - The TSD-V1 was not outfitted with Agrinium Mesh Underlayering as it was deemed to be a waste of time and resources on something created largely to be destroyed.
  • Do Not Store at Home - If a person was unwise enough to store TSD-V1 in their own territory, enemy infiltrators could conceivably set off a bomb or even just destroy one and begin an extremely destructive chain reaction.
  • Sliceable - Not easily, but a skilled slicer or practitioner of Mechu-Deru could conceivably take control of these droids.

Combustible Bombs Effects on Specific Materials:
  • Beskar - Will burn for roughly 10-15 minutes, discolouring, does not penetrate. If allowed to burn for full length of time may cause minor burns due to more heat than the average armour/vehicle system can compensate for. Larger vehicles may be able to simply carry on with those within unaffected.
  • Phrik - Will burn for roughly 15-20 minutes, discolouring, does not penetrate. If allowed to burn for full length of time may cause minor burns due to more heat than the average armour/vehicle system can compensate for. Larger vehicles may be able to simply carry on with those within unaffected.
  • Cortosis - Reacts violently due to fibrous, brittle nature and conductive properties. Will burn until put out or has burned through. Burns through an average planetary vehicle of heavy armour in 25-30 min.
  • Titanium, Tungsten, Molybdenum - Reacts violently. Will burn through in roughly 5 minutes.
  • Adamithium - Reacts violently. The nature of this alloy means that some materials catch extremely quickly (armourweave) allowing even those with an otherwise higher melting point to be ignited quickly. Will burn through in roughly 2 - 2 1/2 minutes. In the case of a self destructing TDS-V1, will burn out in roughly 5-7 minutes.
  • Armourweave - Reacts violently, will burn through in roughly 2 - 2 1/2 minutes
  • Glass, Teflon, Organic Materials - Reacts extremely violently. Burn rate depends upon material thickness. An unprotected civilian would be burnt in seconds.
  • Durateel, Steel, Copper, Nickle - Does not react, a discolouring layer of insoluble metal flouride is formed.

Note of Usage Intent: This is mostly a droid created to battle NPCs. PC's can of course dodge, use force powers, enter a vacuum or otherwise find a way around it. No hit from any of it's abilities would ever be called on a PC.

*Effects not guaranteed the further the exposed subject is from humanoid. Still likely unpleasant

RESEARCH REVIEW

Starwars Chaos:
Pending initial review

WITHOUT DEV THREADS
Change the RL Gases and Explosives to more simplistic Cannon ones, I found a few, but any others you find might be good as well.

WITH DEV THREADS
With those, very volatile, very expensive, very complex chemicals (TriFluoride, and Sarin) which are incredibly lethal, and lack good counters, I would like to see a Solid 20 post dev thread. Mainly the Chlorine Trifluoride has me on edge as its RL that reacts violently and sometimes explosively on contact with metals, some of which are very common in armor, so having an explosive that burns, corrodes, and explodes your opponents armor needs to be Dev'd and explained how it reacts with Cannon/Chaos Cannon materials.

SUGGESTIONS
Either change the RL chemicals out, explain how the chemical reacts with Star Wars metals, or do a solid 20+ dev thread.

Dig it, still gonna need that 20+ Quality Post Dev Thread. That explosive agent is brutal and even not burning through Phrik and Beskar, its going to require Dev.

Sorry boss, but even someone in full Beskar'Kandar is gonna have a bad day with this stuff if it gets on them.
