STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
+Strong In The Force: Trystis was born with an inherent power in the Force, and has refined it through a mostly independent regimen of training and study. He can unleash powers often without even needing to gesture, and takes quickly to new knowledge.
+Battle Meditation: Among those who use the Force, few are gifted in the art of Battle Meditation naturally. Trystis is one of those chosen, and has broadened his skill through training.
+Martial Arts: Trystis has received the traditional training his people do in unarmed combat and has made a practice of intermingling it with the usage of a lightsaber.
- Vengeful: Against reason, all odds, and politics, Trystis will pursue revenge against a perceived wrong. Often making new enemies in this process, he easily falls into cascades of hateful violence that hurt his own power as much as any other's.
- Psychic Damage: A run-in with a more powerful Lord left this Sith's mind scarred and shattered. The sleep of this man is haunted by nightmares, and even in the day, paranoia, hallucinations, and a twitchy sort of mistrust of any kind of mentalist yet linger.
- Self-Control Issues: Trystis acts on impulse and emotion, letting his feelings guide him rather than cold strategy.
BIOGRAPHY:
Selected at a young age for the cult of the Sith, Trystis Ray was no victim. He's not a good person in bad circumstances. He was a bad person in circumstances that are very, very good for him - the rest of the galaxy, not so much. He already had a callous disregard for others, but the Academy of the Sith honed that into paranoia and mistrust. To rely on anyone other than yourself is the pinnacle of foolishness.
Unfortunately, a Sith who shared this philosophy and had more 'pull,' so to speak, decided that an example needed to be made - regardless of whether a crime had been committed. Trystis languished in prison, first for the One Sith, then the Republic. His mind and body were broken.
Now, rebuilding himself, having found a place in the gutters and shadows, he wears the name 'Darth Talionis' when he stalks the night and Trystis when he walks by day, always seeking vengeance on everyone who has wronged him.
APPEARANCE
Withered by darkness, Trystis seems older than he is, yet his seeming frailty is deceptive. He prefers finery and standard clothes to the trappings of a Sith. His eyes radiate a shifting, golden glow.
