Trouble in Paradise

Sophia sighed and laid her head down on the desk. She thought that the problem had been taken care of. Sophia thought that they had taken some sense into the Rebels but no their were whispers that they were back to their ways. In fact she had been told by one of her trusted advisors that they had burned down a barn the other night. This type of unrest was very unsettling not only to her but she was sure to the citizens whom lived in that town. She wanted to get it taken care of once and for all before things did get out of control. As such she was bringing in a specialist of sorts to help gather more information and use forceful persuasion if need be.

Lifting her head off the counter Sophia took a deep breath before take taking a sip of her caf. She expected @[member="Silas Raan"] to arrive any moment now so she could explain what she knew of the situation thus far and go from there. The young woman didn't know much about him but she was hopeful that he knew what he was doing and could help her.

Silas had only been in the Confederacy for a short time, but once his fellow members had began to hear about the skills he possessed and the experience he had, he found himself learning plenty of holocom contacts and meeting many members. He had spent his entire adult life traveling the system of Hapes, but his idealism and purpose kept him confined to that corner of space most of the time. Fighting against the corruption that was widely-known in the galaxy to have always had a deep hold in the Hapes Consortium, Silas had joined a group of freedom fighters, thought they were often referred to as terrorist, to take down those in power. Using guerrilla tactics, their conflicts with Hapes became more and more violent. It wasn't until the failed assassination of Stap Praxeum, which was a Hapan celebrity, political lobbiest, and bussinessman, at least as far as Silas' group knew, that Silas was injured and taken away. He was also identified during the aftermath of the explosion and could not stay on his home with numerous warrants for his arrest. But during this time, Silas had learned numerous skills that would prove useful to members of the CIS.

Silas had received the information about Sophia's needs from a Viceroy that he had helped take control of a rather naughty businesswoman. Silas still had the scratches to prove it. Once the Viceroy had given details about the set of skills Silas' wielded, a contact point was made. Silas had traveled for a few days until he arrived to the planet of Chroma Zed. It was a rather splendid sight to Silas, but he had learned that he felt that way about everything planet since he had seen so little of the galaxy.

They were set to meet at a neutral location. They were on the same side, but Silas had a lifetime of Hapan paranoia ingrained into him. It was a caf shop that had a wonderful seating location out on a balcony. He moved through the crowd, his kuatian silk suit pressed tightly against him and his ice like eyes scanning the room. Finally, his eyes landed on the outline of a woman sitting out on the balcony that he assumed was the same as the one he had seen in the picture, thought he couldn't see her face. Walking up behind her, he calmly said,

"Wonderful view."

OOC: Sorry. I had some computer problems, but they are taken care of now.
