Vaylin
Moirai No More
What do you get in the wake of a drunken Zabrak and Echani, idly browsing the HoloNet one night? Apparently winning a legit-not-bogus competition for an all expenses paid trip for two, to a vacation resort.
It had come about from their latest get together. Vaylin had travelled to Jorryn's place to simply hang out. No going out anywhere, nothing fancy, just a nice and simple date night at home, with a good deal of alcohol involved. At some point during that night they had been browsing the HoloNet, skipping through all the junk in search of something interesting. Somewhere along the way, they stumbled into one of the often typical bantha crap 'competitions' that were usually just a rip off.

It was something like that anyway. Vaylin couldn't quite remember the exact details, why they even bothered, nor who out of her and Jorryn had correctly answered it. What was known however, was that the Echani's Holonet account had a congratulatory mail in the inbox.
A few days later, the couple were arriving at their destination. It was a planet of mostly ocean, with numerous sized islands dotted all around the place. Some company or another had made it into a 'Vacation Planet'. With a wide variety of activities, the biggest being a cruise around all the main islands. For Jorryn and Vaylin however, their arrival point was at the expansive resort complex, highlighted by the towering hotel that resided in the middle.
The height of it could probably rival some of the tallest buildings on Bastion.
"And here I thought Tatooine could be bright..." Vaylin complained lightly, stretching her limbs after having been sat on a ship; then shuttle for several hours. The Zabrak was currently donned in a sun hat, the brim of which was honestly oversized. She couldn't understand why it was designed like that, but Jorryn had spotted it as a 'souvenir', and Vaylin wasn't one to often say no to her girlfriend. It sat on her head somewhat awkwardly, in account for the fact she had a set of horns on her head. Trying to correct it just made it tighter around them, and any further pressure would likely puncture the material.
As they walked into the lobby, Vaylin's holo-comm began to ring.
"Why don't you sign us in, while I take care of this call?" She gave Jorryn a light peck on the cheek, before stepping to the side. Waiting until the Echani was moving towards the lobby desk, Vaylin grabbed her comm and activated it. The image of one of her Kraujas Arana appeared before her.
"Olrun, report."
"Everything has been running smoothly in your absence. The other instructors have taken on your duties for the time being."
"Good, ensure it continues so. No further communication, unless it's an emergency."
"Of course, Elder Moirai."
Vaylin let out a small sigh, ending the call and glanced over at Jorryn. She knew her girlfriend wasn't particularly fond of Sithspawn. The Kraujas Arana were certainly not hard on the eyes compared to a majority of other Sith experiments. But it was more the fact they were former Echani refugees, taken as prisoners by the Sith Empire, that made the Zabrak wary. Jorryn had never voiced her displeasure, or even showed it, but Vaylin had a feeling it was there.
