The Trigonus Droid for Observation on the Ground (DOG) is a light security and safety droid capable of patrolling areas for threats, scouting enemy positions, and tracking enemy targets. It has an excellent aural and chemical sensor array that allows it to identify individuals by sound and by chemical signature, tracking them across miles and identifying anything they have come into contact with. The DOG is widely used to assist military and police units in identifying threats and contraband, or find escaped criminals. The unit has a single potential weapon: A grasper jaw that can hold objects or crush objects or sever limbs. The unit is programmed to defend sentients who own and operate it, including tackling attackers, leaping on grenades, and interposing itself in front of inbound ordinance. Its duranium shell casing enables it to survive a great deal of punishment before being destroyed.
