SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Personal Settings
Strengths:
  • Personal Setting: Designed as a slightly upgraded duel phase switch jokingly called a tri-phase. The first setting is standard length, the second duel doubling the length of the blade and adjusting the size of the blade itself. The third is a personal one, made for the user and changing the blade width, length, even the power level of it in a small computer
  • Adjustable: Designed with a small switch to match and make the blade able to deflect a paddle beamer but it becomes unable to block conventional energy shots
Weaknesses:
  • Placement: A common problem with duel phase sabers, the placement of the adjuster needs to be nearly perfect or when it is flipped the saber can become damaged and cease to function. The tri-phase switch with the third adjustment is even more so, requiring a delicate touch and artisan's skill with saber components and hilts to have it installed within your blade's hilt
  • Adjustment: In being able to adjust easier for handling and deflecting paddle beam shots the traditional energy shots can become unblockable wrapping around the blade and striking the one deflecting
DESCRIPTION
Designed by Sasori's artisan's based off of the duel phase switch design. The tri-phase switch is something that is designed to go into saber hilts. Functioning just like a duel phase switch, able to have the standard style of the blade and then with a small flip going to twice or even triple the length for the blade. A length that most don't use and requires some skils but most jedi will experiment with the style at least once or in training to see how it goes. The tri-phase takes it partially further but doesn't increase the length instead offering a sort of preset for the saber. A personal preference switch added to it and is recorded and allows the saber to automatically adjust itself. From the length of the blade to the width of it for either cutting power or blaster deflection, for short range like a shoto or long range like a pike, from lethal to training low power settings and every variable in between. THe final adjustment is for the frequency of the blade, a setting that can be different but proven effective afgainst paddle beamers, with the downside that it then becomes unable to deflect and handle traditional blaster energy shots.
