BIOGRAPHY:

Trevor was the oldest child of Gregor and Jeselle Alde, of the noble and ancient House Alde of Alderaan.

Gregor was a younger child in a family in which the eldest male children were expected to be the primary inheritors of the family’s business, political, and social position on Alderaan. Those limitations plus his intolerance for political and family intrigue led him to leave Alderaan to make a life for himself and his new bride Jeselle elsewhere. After considerable study, they decided on Nubia.

Gregor’s father wasn’t unkind or inconsiderate of his youngest son and was sympathetic when he announced his decision. He gave his son and new daughter-in-law a considerable sum as a wedding gift hoping Gregor would use it to make a good life for himself. He accomplished that goal with flying colors.

They invested significant amounts in some of Nubia’s industrial giants: Nubian Star Drives, Industrial Automation, TradeCo, Inc, and PharmCorp being four of the primary targets for their investment. Ever mindful of the House intrigue of Alderaan, they wished to keep a low profile; so, they kept their investments to that of minority ownership, never purchasing more than 10-15% of a company’s issued stock. This strategy allowed them to prosper and live affluently while avoiding conflict and controversy.

After living on Nubia long enough to feel settled, they had their first son and named him Trevor. Shortly thereafter, they had a daughter, Amilee, and a second son, Simeon.

Trevor proved to be a quick study; comprehending and learning things easily. He became fluent in several languages and was an excellent pianist – playing keyboards in a local rock and scrak band as a teen. He attended university in Nubia City and graduated with a dual degree in engineering and business.

Trevor was found to be force sensitive as was common in the Alde line. He, however, had no interest in pursuing training as he felt it to be as much of a curse as a blessing. He preferred spending that time training in martial arts and found an Enchani Master that was willing to teach him. He proved to be a natural athlete and excelled in sports in school.

Trevor was quiet and introspective which made it difficult to tell that he was really an activist at heart. He had compassion for those less fortunate and helped those he could, while, at the same time realizing that he couldn’t save the world. As opposed to his parents, Trevor was intrigued by the politics of the Houses of Alderaan and studied their history in as much detail as he could find.

A time came when the family was notified that Trevor’s grandfather had died. This threw House Alde in turmoil - at least those living on Alderaan. The eldest brother was shortly thereafter found dead in his speeder at the bottom of a ravine and family leadership was in disarray. Several calls were received asking Gregor to return to help stabilize the family situation, but, he had no trouble denying those requests.

Trevor understood his father’s attitude towards Alderaan and the extended family, but, he didn’t share it. He had decided to return himself, if for no other reason than to meet his relatives. That plan was smashed; however, when Alderaan fell to the One-Sith.

As usual, House Alde resisted the invaders and was dealt with severely. Gregor and Trevor couldn’t by any means they tried determine if there were any survivors. It seemed likely they were all that remained of House Alde.

His father remained resistant to the idea of getting involved. Trevor, on the other hand, was even more interested. He had a burning desire to see his family’s home world before it was totally destroyed by the terra-forming – vong-forming they called it. If he was to be successful, he would have to move fast.

SHIP:

Nubia Star Drives J-type star skiff - Kestrel

It was the personal ship of an executive of Nubia Star Drives who had a landing mishap that resulted in significant damage. Nubia Star Drives simply built him a new ship and Trevor talked his father into exerting what influence he had as a minority owner and buying the damaged skiff. Rebuilding it took Trevor three years. It was project he loved as he could actually see his education in engineering applied for something useful.

ROLE-PLAYS:

[member="Trevor Alde"]. Very nice. So will Trevor hold the title of Duke?

I have added his name to the list of nobles. There is a movement regarding Alderaan. perhaps Marcello or Jerrick can help. Anything else. Oh. I will tie your story to the Dreams of Past to build connections.

The Queen may be trying to hold a meeting to speak with all nobles. I'm sure there's something else. I will pm you.

On the sundeck of a 5-star hotel drinking champagne?
In a hot tub at a ski chalet sipping warm cognac?
On the beach on Spira, watching the sun set over the islands?
The possibilities are limitless, [member="Claire Organa"] . Just let your imagination run free. ;)
