HISTORICAL INFORMATION
In many ways, a splinter group of the Circle of the Light Hand, the Tree-Dreamers of Qi-Ko take the ascetic and mystic aspects of the Circle and elevate it an entirely new level. This was especially true after it became clear that Force was bringing in people from other traditions, even ones long thought extinct to sleep beneath the Heart-Tree. Tiland had not shared his experiences of sleeping beneath the Heart-Tree when he first explored the planet on his own, but others came who seemed to know of it with no known reason.

The Heart-Tree, of a species unique to Qi-Ko, and the only one of its species on the planet, rises thousands of meters into the atmosphere and nearly two kilometers to the base of the valley in which it inhabits, totaling nearly eight thousand meters tall and six thousand wide. It dominates the skyline of Qi-Ko, dwarfing even the mountains that surround the central belt of the planet. Within and among the many limbs of this tree are dozens of villages seemingly grown out of the tree itself, while a larger one is nestled amongst the massive root structure that fills and, according to some theories, created the valley in which the tree resides.

Members of the initial expeditions from the Jedi of the Outer Rim Coalition found this and performed a cursory survey, suggesting perhaps there was an entire society that dwelt in and amongst the limbs of the Heart-Tree, for smaller plants and groves can be found growing amongst the entirety of the tree, as well as the valley beneath it. Some of those, and others, chose to dwell on the tree rather than the main monastery of Qi-Lan.

They began to dream of the past, the present, and the future, in visions that they could not forget and in perfect detail. Many Jedi came to experience it for themselves, including Tiland and his first apprentice, Myri, but the ones who became the Tree-Dreamers experienced them the most vividly, as they theorized as why this was. Eventually, the accepted theory came to be that the Heart-Tree was the center of the Force nexus that surrounded Qi-Ko, acting almost as a magnetic pole would for a traditional magnetosphere. Some have speculated there is an opposite pole somewhere on the world, but it has yet to be found. In essence, the tree acts almost as a bridge between the Living Force and the Cosmic Force, creating a place where the two are very much one and the same, and the memories of the past, the sensations of the present, and the possibilities of countless futures pass through the leaves of the tree and are stored within the massive trunk.

Which are true? Which are accurate? What can be learned from these visions? These questions haunted the first Tree-Dreamers and they prepared to leave their beloved tree to study these in depth when newcomers began to arrive- A Baran Do Sage, one of the Cerean Ner Yan, even a monk of the Aang-Tii for a time, a few members of the Dagoyan Order, a Tyia Adept, even one of the ancient Mind-Walkers, a Luka Sene, and one of the mystics from Voss. This surprised the Jedi, especially Tiland, but they welcome them once it was determined they had been given visions of a tree calling them in their sleep.

From these traditions, a new Force-sect slowly formed around the base of the tree and its dreams, that combined these sects and their specialties in joining with a greater whole, seeing through time, and traveling into the very depths of the Force itself. They grow more and more withdrawn as their dreams become more pressing and their recording more detailed until the others of the Circle of the Light Hand see them only if they travel to the tree itself and seek them out, although the Dreamers are not fond of visitors who distract them from their work.
