OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

Intent:  To provide teaching grounds for those who wish to learn deeper secrets of the Dark Side of the Force. While not relying on either the Jedi or the Sith code.

A secondary goal would also be to transform those who come to the Academy who already belong to the orders of Sith or Jedi into more individualistic figures, rather than adhering to the Jedi or Sith ideologies.

1. Ruined entrance of the ancient Academy
   
   • Entrance of the academy that is still in ruins to keep the somewhat sercrative location of the academy
     
2. Trayus Academy corridors

• Rebuilt corridors equipped with air filtering and life support systems to ensure the academy does not collapse in on itself under the constantly changing structure of Malachor V​

3. Statue / Grave of Darth Traya

• Grave of the first Lady of Betrayal and one of the founders of the Trayus Academy. Her grave stands right at the entrance to the Trayus Core.

4. Rebuilt Trayus Core

• While once collapsed, it has been fully rebuilt, equipped with red kyber crystals, and its Dark Side Nexus fully restored.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

• Some point between 3951 BBY - 872 ABY – Seperated sides of Malachor V once again crash in to each other forming the planet once again
• 872 ABY – Rediscovery & Excavation: Guided by holocron of Darth Traya, Vytorin Blackheart lands covertly on Malachor V, slaughters his smuggler escort, and clears boulders from the ancient entrance over three years.
• 875 ABY – Retrieval of the Bones of Darth Traya : Vytorin began to descend into the abyss where the core of Trayus Academy used to be. Guided by her holocron, he locates the remains of the original Lady of Betrayal. Enshrines said bones in a monument at the new entrance to the core.
• 876-886 ABY – Reconstruction: Hires droids to rebuild the interior systems, such as life-support, hallways, training cells, and corridors, which are fully restored. Exterior left untouched to conceal restoration
• 887 ABY – Sith Assassins: First groups of assassins are corrupted. Mostly from lost explorers who thought it would be a good idea to explore Malachor V. Their minds are turned to shreds and put under direct control of Darth Trayus who trains them in to becoming his elite Sith Assassins
• 889 ABY – Trayus Academy lives again: Trayus Academy officially reopens its doors to the wider galaxy
