TransGalMeg is a corporation that came to the limelight many years ago in 3 BBY, when the Empire granted TransGalMeg provisional protectorate authority of the world. The company is nearing it's 1,000 year anniversary. It's original industries included mining, starship manufacturing, and colonial ventures. Yet, the colonial ventures division has been lacking for a very, very long time. The company has maintained it's long-standing manufacturing of starships and mining on the planets and sectors it governs, yet has also dived into light and heavy weapons manufacturing. The company's headquarters on Narg has truly become a corporate city, with every inhabitant of the city, let alone the planet, having some sort of employment with the company.
RATIONALE
My character Darro Vikkor (as of the time of writing this) sits on the board of this company. He and a handful other individuals (NPC's) serve as governing board of the company and it's assets. My character worked his way up, with a little help from his father's connections, his own prowess and merit, and some behind-the-scenes manipulation and violence to sit on the board. He has maintained a relatively low profile on the board, not being a senior member of it by any means. Though (again, as of the time of writing this), the Chief Executive Officer seat is vacant, as the board cannot decide on who shall take over as the face and lead of the company. Soon, yet another round of debate and voting among the board will take place to decide that.
