DESCRIPTION
The alchemist Azel Moran rediscovered traditional Sith shields and began forging replicas. Re-creating their unusual enchantment was a challenge, but a pleasant one.
These shields are heavy, made entirely of alchemical metal. They have several points and blades around the rim, making them nasty melee weapons. Their main function, other then the obvious, is to bank up a portion of the user's focused Dark Side strength each time the user attacks an enemy. They release this reservoir of power as an omnidirectional shockwave that causes mental strain and physical damage. The user can add their own strength to the bank and release several such shockwaves, at risk of exhaustion.
Moran discovered an additional use for the shield's bank of power: if Force Drain latches onto the shield instead of its user, it will drain the shield first, giving the user some crucial time to counterattack.
