Total Recall

Tai Shol

I'm...the Dreadi
QuinVos-Survivor.jpg

This time, Tai found himself on Cholganna. One thing about him, he had some enemies. As a mercenary of sorts, he took on all types of jobs, espionage, assassination, etc and etc. through this there were those who saw him as a threat. This time he had gotten too drunk, and couldn't quite defend himself all too well. In order to avoid any consequences these bounty hunters took him to this Outer Rim world in order to hunt him as if he were game. They completely underestimated him.

One arrival they released him of his binders and allowed him to run as fast as he could to get as far as he could. The lush jungle world was the perfect place for someone like Tai to be. They honestly didn't even know why he was so good at what he does, but they would soon find out. He robes were already ripped, dingy, and dirty. Running through the lushness of the jungle like foliage saw him develop a glisten on his skin from sweat.

He quickly climb a tree, and started to become his natural feral self.

Location: Cholganna. Construction site of new military base. Camp Chattahoochee

It was a mouthful to say, Camp Chattahoochee. It would be the location of all future training for Sixth Battalion soldiers. A perilous world of severe dangers. The Camp was already fenced off with near-fatal electrical discharges if one touched the wires. The encampment was 11.7 kilometres long and 9.4 kilometres wide. Most of the construction going on was underground, but the noise was deafening. Surrounded by massive swaths of jungle, they were well hidden from any enemy eyes. Four launchpads were in construction for gunships no longer than 50 meters long and 35 meters wide. Ground vehicles were located in garages on ground level, with several guard barracks also above ground. Command station was currently in construction beneath the ground, along with medical bays, armouries, barracks and necessities of the military. Sensor relays were spread throughout over one-thousand kilometres within the vicinity of the camp. An enemy without a friendly IFF tag would not be getting in easily.

Cholganna was relatively close to Voss, home of the Silver Jedi Order, and where Hasjo had been in hiding since the age of twenty-nine. Due to New Order expansion, a military compound was underway on the jungle planet to prevent any incursions on Voss without a fighting chance. This was not the first time Hasjo Hallu had been here. The now Jedi Master had fought a vicious skirmish on the planet that had left it permanently scarred. His Venator-class Star Destroyer had been shot down, carving a tremendous path through the jungles. New Order troops and ships scoured the planet for survivors. Today, Hasjo found himself at a remote outpost on the far reaches of the sensor relays. An officer spoke up to the Nautolan, "Detecting hyperspace rupture. Bounty Hunters. Translocating their vector now." Silence took a grip over the room as the officer slapped his fingers against keys. "They're landing 1.2 clicks of our location. I don't believe they have noticed our presence." The Jedi Master fled the room, his arid cloak billowing behind him. He would track down these bounty hunters.

Off into the distance there was a dim hum, sounded like machines. It was too far out to tell. He face tensed up and he had a constant feral frown on his face. The heat made the air thick, and he moved through the trees above rather quickly, only to stop and perch up as he heard voices. Crouching down and holding on to his lightsaber he peered down from above. His hunters...only two it seems have appeared from the foliage from below. He had to figure out how exactly he wanted to deal with them.

Waiting till they got a little closer, and gripped the branch and swung down, as he came down, he wrapped his legs, near the ankle, around one of their heads, twisting it and snapping his neck. He landed on the ground right in front of the second man, looking up at him he moved just a quick as he could draw his blaster. He kicked dirt up into his face, and then ignited his green lightsaber. In a reverse green the green blade quickly moved in a horizontal arc through the mans stomach.

He dispatched them quickly, and tied them up in the trees above. He decided to go towards the sound of the machines, or whatever it was. He could probably find a ship or something there.

The transceiver shrieked with an incoming message, Chhht! "General. Scanners are picking up a sentient life form en route to the compound. Advising fireteams for immediate mobilisation to dispatch the threat." The metalloid Nautolan came to a slow halt, his heavy durasteel boots sunk deep into the moist soil. "Give me his coordinates. I'm going after him. Keep fireteams on standby." Him, he has said. Yes, he knew him. He felt his presence in the force. An old friend. Yet there was something noticeably different about him. Though since their last meeting, nigh twenty years ago, Hasjo Hallu was likewise a completely different man. He broke into a job, kicking up globs of mud behind in his wake. His cloak flapped behind him, attached to his pouldrons. It was long enough that it hung at the back of his heels.

He was soon upon the scent of [member="Tai Shol"]. He had found the dead bounty hunters, tied to a tree. A Nexu had been feeding upon their corpses. The jungles were wild and untamed here, the safest location was Camp Chattahoochee. Though this was not the Jedi way he thought to himself, regarding the bodies of the hunters. He knew the Nexu itself had not killed them. He curled his hands around his Lightsaber Pike, cautious. He continued his hunt. Skirting trees and dodging roots that threatened to trip the Jedi Master over. This was going to be an especially interesting reunion.

His arms were moving quickly, following a motion of chin to pocket. He was running extremely fast, as fast as he could go as his strides lengthened. On occasion he would dodge and jump over loose branches, and trees. His boots were sinking into the soil and kicking up mud in the murky places. He experienced a sense of tunnel vision, only seeing the path set in front of him. From behind a wayward tree came a armored hand. He was running far to fast to stop and from the surprise arrival there was no time to react. It struck him in his chest, and he hit the ground with a great force. His back began to burn and a loud grunt escaped from his mouth. He was picked up and then thrown against a trunk of a tree, and hit the ground yet again. Though massive bruises were made, he still however fought through it, not nearly as painful with all the adrenaline pumping.

Karking bounty hunters! Sadly his lightsaber had fallen, and was out if reach, but he wasn't defendant in such a thing. His knowledge of other skills were handy, and as this bounty hunter drew his blaster rifle to score the winning blow, Tai launched his leg with considerable force towards his opponents, kicking it in at the knee, then used his other legs to kick the rifle towards the bounty hunter at the same time as he began to fire it. Instead on the bolt flying through Tai, it went through the chest of its shooter. A merciful death. He grunted in pain and laid back down on the ground for a moment.
