Setting Information

Structure Name: Torr Industries Mechanical Fabrication Facility (Torr Headquarters)
Classification: Industrial Plant/Facility
Location: Kossak, Klatooine
Affiliation:
- Torr Mechanical Designs and Schematics (Company)
- Darren Torran (Founder & CEO)
- The Silver Jedi Order (Owns a partial share)
Accessibility:
The Torr Industries Mechanical Fabrication Facility is a factory owned and founded by Torr Mechanical Designs and Schematics (and in turn Darren Torran) on the outskirts of Kossak City located on Klatooine. It is quite easy to locate and it surrounded by very few buildings. A large majority of the above-ground facility is accessible by the public while the underground factory and offices are moderately guarded.
Security:
Moderate. The majority of the facility above ground is public access, while the offices and the underground factory is moderately guarded by a private guard force and a few key-code protected doors.
Description:
At first glance, the Torr Industries Mechanical Fabrication Facility looks very similar to the other sleek buildings within the city of Kossak, Klatooine. Quite frankly, there is nothing too unique about the exterior structure at all. The large majority of the above ground facility's walls are covered by thick, triple glazed, layers of glass with a white titanium framework. There is quite a large company car park around the back of the main building that is surrounded by a light wall of trees. Perhaps the most identifiable aspect of the main building is the large, uniquely shaped, towering block of offices that identifies the split between the public access portion of the building and the private access portion that contains the cafeteria, the staff room and the entrance to the underground factory.

Below ground is where the magic happens. Here you will find the factory portion of the facility. In order to save the workers from the toxic fumes that are being pumped out by the machinery, the facility uses a clever system of air filtration. The fumes are taken in via extractor fans and then filtered through a complex system (that must be cleaned every month or so) until the newly cleaned air is pumped back into the work place. This system was designed by Darren Torran himself and is extremely complicated for a person to understand unless they specialise in such things. Other than the system, nothing about the factory is particularly special.

Points of Interest

The Factory:

This is where all of Torr Mechanical Designs and Schematics are designed and fabricated. Nothing is particularly unique or special about this factory, as was stated above.

The Offices:

The towering block that separates the facility houses the few offices of the hierarchy of the company. These are decorated rather extravagantly and modernly, generally having quite sleek appearances.

The Cafeteria:

This is the place that every member of the company has in common. Every worker has their lunch here and it has become the social centre of the company as a whole. It has quite a sleek and modern appearance, much like the offices, and keeps true to the theme of the entire building.

Historical Information

The Torr Industries Mechanical Fabrication Facility is a relatively new building, meaning it has little to no historical significance at all. It was only built a few decades ago and was used for a similar function before Torr took over, meaning that the factory was already quite well prepared for their arrival. Though it took quite a long time to renovate, it was very much worth it and @Darren Torran is fairly proud with what he has achieved so far. Let us only hope that development continues and Darren's grandfathers legacy can thrive on the foundations that have been built.

Unique looking corporate HQ and manufacturing business.

However, the only thing that stands out to me is the underground factory. Love the concept, but I was curious about the ventilation systems. Most modern and possibly future factories typically produce harmful byproducts like smog from smokestacks or whatnot and these are released well above the ground. How would Torr Industries cover/conceal/rectify this glaring "weakness" if it's in existence.

Tag me when you're done with the edits, my guy. :)

I edited to show how it's air filtration system works. Hope this suffices. :)
