PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Toren stands at a average 6'0" (1.82m) and weighs in around 170 lbs (78 kilos) with a athletic build. He has thick, black and greying hair and a trimmed black and greying beard that keeps this half silver fox popular in the Holovids. Deep blue eyes and a slight playful smile can always be found at home on his handsome facial features.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Toren has a grim and disciplined outlook and personality. He was raised by military parents, both officers in the Navy and Marines respectively, and holds a piece of both their branches teachings. He has the bearing of a Navy Officer while matching the grim determination and initiative of a Marine grunt. He is a very disciplined and high motor person. He has to always be active on deployment as civilian life doesn't work for him. He constantly studies warfare tactics and devises new ways to tackle problems so as to remain unpredictable.
Toren believes in the goals and philosophy of the Galactic Alliance. He would happily give his life if it meant keeping that ideal going and protecting those that can't always protect themselves. However, this doesn't mean he is a naive idealist. Rather a realist with a veteran mind for numbers rather than names.
STRENGTHS
[+] Brave - Toren has grown up in the battlefields of space. He has become accustomed to its flow and chaotic nature and is always found at the front of any conflict, leading the way for his fellow officers and troopers he serves alongside.
[+] Confident - Having had to grow up quickly in a galaxy all too quick to fall to violence, Toren has a natural charm and rigid nature about him. He no doubt picked up this stone faced nature and sometimes dark humor from the grunts he has grown up around and now commands, making him a enlisted favorite among officers.
WEAKNESSES
[-] Unorthodox - Having grown up with a father who was a Marine grunt and a mother who was a Naval officer, Toren prides himself on bridging the gap between the branches ideologies and officer to enlisted mindset. He see's things differently from his fellow flag officers and remains a unpredictable force of nature and naval strategy prodigy among his peers.
[-] Disciplined - Toren leads a life of full time military bearing. If he isn't on a tour of Alliance space then he is spending his 'R&R' devising new tactics and ways to make deployments more efficient. Or spending them attending military seminars to discuss naval strategy with like-minded officers and peers. The man lives and breathes GADF.
