DESCRIPTION
Events like the maniac Saverok crashing a frigate into Muunilinst are usually not foreseen. War is often preceded by ‘cold’ wars, intergalactic incidents, hurt feelings, drama in all its forms. Therefore the Muun economy, was apparently devastated by the destruction in a single city, no longer capable of printing as much as 20 new currencies per day as it did in it’s heyday.
Those who watched closely however, would see it was more than that. The InterGalactic Banking Clan had become fat, weak in it’s post-gulag form. Too many people had become invested, too much instability with the rise and falls of new governments. Too many Muun had lost their way, and the upper echelon of the Muun could see it.
So the two most prodigious clans in Muun history, Tonith and Damask, liquidated their assets and got out, shortly before it was put under new management. Afterwards the two formed a new bank, Tonith-Damask Incorporated, going back to the Muun homeworld of Scipio. From there the old vaults and structures were bought and renovated, with the Tonith and Damask clan carving out new territory in the finance business. Now the company has set up another branch on Tiss’sharl, gotten a smidgeon of galactic reputation, and is ready to plunge into the rest of the galaxy.
RATIONALE
Mars Tonith, along with Clu Damask, were the architects of the Tonith-Damask move. Mars himself possesses a 20% share in the company, while the Tonith clan holds 51% in total. The next highest share is Mars’ partner Clu Damask, who holds a 15% share, with the Damask Clan holding 49% equity. Mars holds the title of Prex, while Clu holds the title of Viceprex.
