Tombs, always Tombs (Vassara Raxis)

Mugg Fallow. The name had certainly fit the planet's 'character'. A slime ball of a planet if ever there was one. Nothing but dead terrain and the remains of what might have been a species that lived here long ago. But not much else had these days. However for the people who truly knew the planet there was far more to it than what met the eye.
Back during the days of the old republic the Jedi had established a base on Mugg Fallow. It was never reused after the war with the Sith Empire ended and was barley known to anyone afterwards. But the base still remained after all these centuries. Such a find was bound to hold secrets worth five different fortunes. That was what Aria Perugia, the master theif, was after.
Finding contacts and blackmailing her way through information she was able to find a chiss archivist with the information on the base itself. It was buried deep within the Csilla data-banks to where it was almost invisible. And now Aria and her men, a small group of hired muscle and the like, had the means to find the base. They had established camp on Mugg Fallow a day before, gathering needed supplies and the like. The men varried in size and race, including a wookiee among the collection. All of them had been busying with establishing camp while awaiting the eventual arrival of Aria.
It was strange that she'd yet to arrive yet the main contractor, a human named Mile Tanor, had insisted she would come once they'd found the base. Still the men were getting a bit restless at times and it was only with further promise of money that they agreed to stay on this sludge pit of a planet.

Vassara had long been gone from the galaxy. After a little stint with the Jedi Grandmaster and running afoul of several debt collectors she had disappeared. The Expeditionary Fleet had broken up, each going their separate ways, and she had returned to find nothing. Still she needed money, and the hunt for coin was always sure to bring up some interesting prospects on the underground channels.

And it just so happened she had ended up here, on this god forsaken planet. She was a smallish woman, adorned with a black coat and red trim. Icy blue eyes struck out from beneath her black tresses. At her back in a bantha leather sheath, a Czerka Combat Shotgun, and at her side several pistols hung from her belt.

She looked more the piratey type than anything. A privateer among desperate times, combing the voids for a stroke of fortune. Beside her in the dark stood Silas, her travelling companin. Armed with a shotgun and an E-11, he wore all orange. Not very tactical but hey, spacers were not known for their brilliant tactical intelligence.

"Looks like the temple is way ahead of us." He commented, realigning the map on his datapad.

Vassara glanced around in the dim light of dusk.

"Yep, good thing we got extra rations out. I'm starving."

Her black gloved hands ripped open a ration bar and she devoured it as they walked, trudging silently through the night.

"What exactly are we finding again?"

"Artifacts, Datacrons, Crystals, whatever we can get our hands on."

"For the Jedi Academy?"

"Feth no. No some for money, some for my studies."

She had long since abandoned the way of the true Jedi. She was not here nor there, simply a rogue, who used the force as tool to survive and thrive. And sometime bring justice, if a situation called for it.

Word had come from one of the scouting parties. The Jedi temple base had been found. Miles had ordered for the men to move out, everyone piling into three large speeders before heading off to meet with the scouting party only 6 miles out from where they were. The whole time they were armed and ready for the expedition, some questioning what would be awaiting them once they arrived. Miles had done more to sate them by saying all the more riches they found meant all the more payment once Aria arrived. Of course the men were still hesitant to go on just his word alone.
