Culture: Despite their aggressive reputation, ugly appearance and pest status on Mandalore, to vhin are also respected in Mandalorian culture for their strength and persistence. Words like feral and phrases like "stubborn as to vhin" have cropped up along the frontier, making the Mandalorian Vornskr a near necessity for life on the frontier.

Technology level: N/A

General behavior: To Vhin are herd animals, in fact they never travel alone with at least two always together (one Male, one Female). Young to vhin are often awkward and shy with adults being highly aggressive around anything not one of them. Herds range in size from a pair to a few thousand, observed on the plains of Mandalore. Despite being omnivorous, To Vhin sustain themselves largely off of a vegetation and fungi-based diet only eating carrion if it is enough for the group and only rarely actively hunting for vital proteins and to sustain their large muscle mass.

Communication is key in a herd of To Vhin. They are social creatures, even more so than sentient speces, with projections of fear, calm and aggression able to spread quickly warning of danger or as a way for a Bull to calm his herd. They also hold a complex array of sounds used mainly for protection. A single to vhin, in the rare instances that this occurs, will go completely insane and its latent force sensitivity can create a wave of fear and unease that affected all non-force dead things. These Feral To Vhin are incredibly dangerous and bulk in size due to their increased intake of meat combined with the influence of the Dark Side on their bodies. Feral nature can also be induced by a heavily increased protein diet.

It is theorized that connections they make with their herd can be simulated with other empathetic Force Sensitive species and beings.

History: Discovered on Mykyr To Vhin, were found to be on equal footing in the food chain with one of the planet's largest keystone species, the vornskr. They were observed to be the prey of choice for many of the planet's carnivores but in turn ate them. Their strength and ferocity was observed by a small clan which then took a small number back to Mandalore and trained as guard animals. However this led to some of the first Feral To Vhin, for in their ignorance they fed the beasts a mostly meat diet, activating the Feral gene within causing chaos at the Mandalorian compounds they were set to guard. In response the clan canceled all incoming shipments of the beasts and with no where to put them the shipping companies dropped them in various locations across Mandalore's surface.

On Mandalore they became large pests and the monsters of children's stories. Their population boomed on the open plains and forests of Madnalore's eastern and western hemisphere but perished in the tropics of the South and harsh cold of the North. Around 200 ABY their numbers dropped significantly after the boom in the Mandalorian Shriek Hawk population but quickly rose even higher after the avian species nearly went extinct in 245 ABY. Since then multiple hunts have taken place to reduce their numbers but to no avail. Their thick hides, impressive size and perpetual company made them incredibly difficult for singular or even small groups of hunters to kill.

Now to vhin are one of the biggest pests and threats in rural Mandalore.

Is there anything I can clear up? Just asking because I've never seen something sit in the codex for a week unless there were issues with it or the codex itself...

Apologies been super busy with work and a few other things, there is actually one thing. How do they grow another meter or two and claws and teeth grow larger when they go feral?

Drastically Increased protein intake from shift in diet that comes with going Feral adds most of the bulk. Also similar how Bouncers changed slightly to become more menacing from the negativity and dark feelings of the dark side post thought bomb on Ruusan, the negative feelings from their dark side connected companion, the anguish of being alone etc. affect their own Force alignment making them more menacing.

EDIT: Also, don't worry about it. RL comes first, sorry to bother you.

[member="Taeli Raaf"], the bit about the meat was already there, but I added the bit with the Dark Side. Its towards the end of the second paragraph in the General Behavior section
