To The Vahn, To The Stars, To the O [Jedi Mission]

Doug had proceeded to finish off the rest of the goons as planned. With them finally taken care of, there was the matter of their leader, who started to scurry away as if he truly was a rat. It was a rather pitiful sight even though it's probably what most would do in such a scenario. Regardless, Dusaro was on the case as he used the Force in an attempt to cause the man to fall over, whether through tripping or outright grabbing the leader's ankle with the Force. Doug had to get a move on himself, but he wasn't sure if running would work effectively enough if they wanted to trap the man.

He figured he could use the Force to give himself a boosted jump. He had done a few times before already, although now would probably be one of the instances he could actually apply it outside of training. He took a deep breath and felt for the Force. He then squatted down and with a leap, he went soaring forward in the air. He managed to stick a landing a small distance in front of where the rat man likely fell down and turned around, readying his training saber in a combat stance and approaching him from the other side of Dusaro. It was a matter of what happened next at this point as they now had the man cornered in a sense.

It was going too well, indeed, he would have agreed with Dusaro had he been able to read his thoughts. I mean, technically he could but he wasn't actually focusing on doing that, sooo....

But Dusaro's tactic had worked. Sure, he hadn't been able to manage to bring him back fully, but tripping him up gave the group time to go after him. The boss knew he was had when he tripped, and so he would instead turn around while seated and pull out a blaster, pointing it at the two Jedi Padawans, as Josh stayed back in order to let them work, though not too far back... He was just in range to intervene should things get nasty.

"H-Hold it! I will shoot! And don't think after I shoot you, I won't be able to find who your families are!" He would growl. "I'll make sure your families never forget you messing with me!"

Josh couldn't guarantee whether he was bluffing or not, but he would let the two Padawans handle this...

Dusaro nearly laughed at the now tripped mob bosses words and he couldn't help but have a smarmy smirk. He had heard those words of despiration so many times before that at this point they had lost any meaning besides amusement value to him. Even if the man did escape and go after Dusaro's friends, well he wasn't paticularly worried. Hunting down people like them tended to end badly.

No, it wasn't the man Dusaro was worried about. It was the four bodyguards who had just heard their boss shout and had missed him tripping and were turning around to help him. "Doug, i will disarm bossman, you secure him then back me up." He said shortly. He was about to do something that was rather reckless and among other things he didn't want Doug to get caught up in it. Dusaro focused into his sprint and locked eyes on the guards past the boss man. He breathed in and used the force, force speed. It was a sensation not so disimilar to adrenaline, but it allowed for much clearer thought. Though at his level his mind only sped up in its processing speed some, it would hopefully be enough. As he started to get within distance of the boss Dusaro would move to block any shots and make a quick slash at the man's pistol. Of course, it was entirely possible he might miss the pistol, as his thoughts and mind was focused on those past him. But even if Dusaro missed he kept going, trusting Doug to deal with the issue.

It was after that slash that he did something unexpected. Those guards had blasters, and he couldn't hope to block four enemies shooting at him, or even dodge at such a range. So instead, he chose to attack them at range. With his lightsaber at his side he pulled his hand back and then threw the blue blade, the blade spinning horizontally at them. He knew first hand how terrifying that was. He had seen Sith cut soldiers down with such a move. Even so this was only a training blade. But he was willing to bet on their terror at seeing a blade of 'death' coming for them. Joshua himself had proved earlier just how lethal such a move could be, it was fresh in their minds. And even if they knew his blade was 'blunt', fear is in and of itself an irrational thing.

Planning to capitalize on exactly that, he locked eyes with the first enemy in the group and lowerd his body. It was a simple little trick of the mind, one that had saved his life before. Heigth is a very good way to gague distance. People get taller when they get closer. Inversly, if you 'shrink' yourself down as you close, then the mind doesn't notice how close the person truely is. It is a small mental blind spot that only tends to work against people unfamiliar with close combat but it was one that Dusaro was confidant in using as a followup to his lightsaber ploy. If nothing unexpected happend, Dusaro would get into striking distance a moment after the lightsaber would 'thud' off the chest of one of the guards and if all had gone well and the act had made them even for a moment freeze in fear, he would unleash a fast punch into the man Dusaro had locked eyes with. Using his own momentum from running he would follow it up with a nasty shouldercheck and piledrive straight into the group with the man as a shield.

Such a tactic was not what one expected out of the mind of the mentally coherent and much less out of a Jedi. But even so that was the plan Dusaro executed to deal with this situation. Even if it was crazy, it was well thought out and executed crazy if nothing else.

Doug knew that the threat of the boss man wasn't exactly one they weren't equipped to deal with. Blaster shots could be blocked by their blades and they also had the Force to trust in on top of that. The main predicament was that his goons had noticed that the boss had fallen over and were prepared to assist him. Luckily, Dusaro had a plan of some sort and, after a momentary debriefing with Doug, had dashed on ahead towards the four guards. He had even taken care of the man's blaster in the meantime.

Doug nodded and dashed forward. He held his arm out and called upon the Force. He had to make sure the boss was taken care of especially or there could be more trouble than necessary. He managed to get a mental grip on the leader and used it to shove him back to the ground, then he jumped forward in front of the boss and turned around. He temporarily put his training saber aside on his belt and then held both of his arms out and, with the Force, slowly began to levitate him into the air. This was no training exercise so his more nervous mindset made this a bit trickier, but he was managing to pull it off.

He wasn't exactly trying to pull off anything too crazy like Dusaro was, but he wanted to make sure the man would stay down for the time being. He then lowered his hands with a quick movement and the boss was slammed back onto the ground. "Stay. Down. Please." He muttered in a slightly annoyed tone, taking a deep breath from the use of the Force. He had been training for some time now, but he still wasn't necessarily a master yet.

He glanced over to see how Dusaro was doing and he grabbed his training saber again, ready to assist him if needed.

Well, that was that. The boss was down, the guards were down and the boys had done good work. Josh would take out a pair of cuffs and hand them to Dusaro to finish the job. Of course, the boss of the outfit was screaming obscenities at the Jedi group as the was arrested. "Alright, just make the arrest, boys, and let's get him out of here before more have a chance of showing up" Josh would order. "Odds are, with their leader gone, they'll fall apart and scatter. I'll have him over to local authorities and without him calling the shots, odds are authorities will be able to round up the rest" Josh would add.

Once Dusaro had cuffed up the man, Josh would order for them to keep a hold of them as he would begin to make his way toward the ship...

"We'll fly him to the authorities on the other side of the planet... After that, mission complete boys. Congratulations."

He turned to smirk at them both.

"Proud of you, both of you. But remember... Missions won't be as easy as this one in future. This guy is small time compared to the Sith Lords out there."

Well, that had gone far neated then Dusaro had expected it to go. Though maybe he was used to used to battlefields rather then more 'normal' things like this. Musing that such might be the case, he ignored the slander being thrown at them from the prisoners and nodded. "Lets certainly hope that shall be the case, them breaking up and falling apart nicely." He said, getting the man all nicely cuffed up and held before heading on back to the ship, keeping his eyes out around the area just incase. It would be rather awkward to have the tables turned on them at this point so Dusaro kept his senses sharp, just incase.

"I have had experince with Sith before so aye, i know plenty about them." He said with a fiarly steely note in his tone. Though wether it was because he was just tense from keeping an eye out or something else was hard to tell.

"How long shall it take to get 'em there and process ya figure?" Normally for him things ended a bit diffrently. It wasn't the first time he had taken in people like this, but it wasn't the norm for him either so he went ahead and asked. Planets and all tended to vary wildly about such things so he figured he might as well ask.

This ended on a relatively good note. The group ran into some issues at times, but overall, it seems they did just fine and were even commended for it. This certainly wasn't the last of the problems they'd face and chances are things would just get more difficult from here. Doug watched as Dusaro had taken care of cuffing the boss and the group had begun to head back towards the ship.

The mention of Sith Lords by Josh was something that sent a bit of a chill up Doug's spine. Those that not only used this "Dark Side" of the Force, but absolutely reveled in it to a point where it could be hard to tell if they were even human or whatever species they were anymore. The thought unnerved him. Throughout his time with Josh, he had gained some knowledge on these types, but he had not actually witnessed it. That was probably for the better as he would have to be more than prepared for when the time came and his training was far from done at this point. He had yet to even construct his own proper lightsaber.

Doug nodded slowly. "Of course, Master." He simply said. He would have to be brave for when the time came. It was beside the point for now, though. Dusaro had asked Josh about how long it would take to get the boss guy into jail and what not. He wasn't entirely sure about this process himself, but it would probably be a smooth procedure in theory. Probably a bit smoother than how things went on Tatooine at any rate.

While this little adventure was generally over, it was apart of many more to come...

"At this point, most likely without their biggest guy, they'll fall apart, or at least be significantly weaker from before" Josh would admit. "And if they aren't by much? Well, we'll have another set of Jedi make sure to do this more thoroughly and arrest many more of them that go around. We've arrested a handful here, so that should cut their numbers hard, and bringing in their leaders, well..." He began, shrugging his shoulders.

"Speaking of..." He began as he looked back at the group of thugs they had KO'd. "Let's... Just put in a call and have them come to us. Let's hold them down here for now, and have them come to us. We can't fit them all on the ship, nor try to haul them all at once without them escaping. Much easier plan" He would admit.

Though he did smirk in turn and nod his head. "Mission complete then" He said as he would take out his communicator and begin to get in touch with the local authorities...
