To get a Ship!

Tormax's ship dropped out of hyperspace and was slowly gliding through space as Tormax himself, within the ship, got his bearings. The space station was close. He had some dealings to do with the people here. The word around was that these people had a ship to get rid of. And he was only happy to oblige.

He saw the space station up ahead and his ship was getting closer as it gathered speed from it's impulse drives. He was there in only a few minutes and he docked to the space station. He had warned them ahead of time that he was coming, at least, he thought he did. Now it was up for the people to come and get him.

After all, he didn't know his way around the station.

Wheel Security Forces met with the Sith at the docking bays. A team of ten men, lead by their sergeant, greeted @[member="Tormax Tryte"] at his ship and led him through the Wheel itself and the various checkpoints before ushering him up the main turbo lift. There, a pair of Wheel Security escorted him to the Hutt's penthouse and from there, the office door. Once done, the two guards disappeared out of sight, but kept close in case they were needed.

After a moment, the intercom next to the door sounded and a deep voice buzzed in the speaker.

"Come in," was all Popo said.

The Sith walked into the room as the door opened up. He had no weapons on him, besides the Force of course so he had nothing to truly worry about. "Greetings, and thank you for meeting with me." He smiled lightly, his eyes were clearly corrupted by the dark side, though for once they weren't fuming in a rage.

Looking at the Hutt he stood only a meter within the room after entering it. He would get straight to business, there were a few things to do within the Galaxy and idle chat..was not something he tended to enjoy..ever.

"I have come by information you are capable of selling me a ship." He smiled and clasped his hands behind his back. He wouldn't leave empty-handed. He couldn't. He must do all he could for his Sith Emperor. Even though he did not know the man personally.

The Hutt blinked once. Twice. His expression was thoughtful and still. He gauged the human before him and mulled over the man's appearance. Without a weapon or seeing his dossier, Popo could tell he was a Darksider. The eyes. It was always the eyes with Humans. Popo would never know why it was always that way. Did Humans do it on purpose? Did they have it done? Why the eyes? Was it supposed to intimidate? Scare?

Popo shrugged internally and made a mental note to see his eye doctor. He definitely did not want corrupt looking or bloodshot eyes. Wasn't there a medication for that? Vizee-something? Cleari-something? Something like that.

"I sell many ships," the Hutt stated simply. "What specifically are you looking for?"

@[member="Tormax Tryte"]

He thought for a moment. He hadn't been offered a seat. But that didn't matter. He would be calm for this meeting. He smiled while lifting his hand up to brush his proboscises on his face. For once, they weren't actively moving on his face, which was good for once, It disturbed many people he had met in the past, though their opinion didn't matter when he was killing them.

"How big are the ships that you are willing to sell?" He stared at the Hutt directly in the eyes. It seemed they didn't need to know each other's names. But even if the Hutt asked he would give him a fake name if anything.

Popo hit a few controls on his desk and a holo image appeared in midair.

"Right now my main ship is the Wanga-class Cruiser," Statistics and other data popped up on the screen, including a hefty price for the ship, though it was by far less expensive than most others of it's type and class. "It's a cruiser that focuses on heavy firepower and redundant systems. It's a 650m warship that my company produces. It's yours for the price you see at the bottom, there."

@[member="Tormax Tryte"]

Stroking his chin, Tormax looked up to the Hutt after analyzing the price and all of the statistics. "Where is the ship now? I'd like to know before I purchase it." He said, continuing to note the price and the weaponry of the ship. It would have to have a supporting role if anything in a battle, or release it's whole armament and then leave, fast. Hit and run would have to be the best thing for this ship.

Popo looked hard at the man before him. Did the Sith think there was only one? The ship wasn't mass produced - yet - but if sales kept up, it soon would be. As it was, Popo had a couple dozen waiting for use or new owners.

"There are more than just one," the Shell Hutt stated blandly. "I believe I have roughly a dozen or so ready for purchase, though none are here. A few are above Nar Shaddaa and the rest are located at the shipyards within the Vergesso Asteroid belt."

@[member="Tormax Tryte"]

He had gotten what he wanted from the Hutt. It was a good enough answer it seemed, for Tormax continued on by saying: "I will purchase three. Shall I gather them myself, or will they be delivered to a location of my choosing?" He asked with a polite tone in his voice. It wasn't forced, a lot, there was no reason to be cruel or rude to the Hutt. He was his host after all, though it wouldn't do for him to be struck down without a weapon in his hand. Though he could kill the Hutt before his guards even knew what had happened.

"If I must decide however, on the edge of this system would be the best idea I should think." He smiled. It was all thought out, he couldn't let the Hutt know where the ships were going. Even if the Hutt's establishment was located within Sith Space.

"I can have the ships towed to a location for you," Popo said blandly. He was happy to have made a substantial sale, though the Hutt was betting he could make a better sale. Possibly. "Three Wanga-class cruisers it is, just list a location and I'll have them delivered within seven business days."

Thinking a moment, his eyes blinking slowly, the Hutt paused a moment before continuing.

"Hmmm..." the giant Hutt rumbled slowly, the air vibrating with the sound. "I'll strike a deal with you. I'll give a ten percent discount if you buy four Cruisers and I'll waive any delivery fees."

@[member="Arvis Syphex"]

He said nothing. "No. Three is what I want." He wasn't about to buy four he didn't even know if the Hutt could deliver with these ships yet. The ships could be fake, or even malfunction. Or better yet, be rigged to explode if certain codes were implemented into them! No. Three is what Arvis wanted.

"Korriban, is where the ships should be towed. That is where their crews are, no doubt." He smilled an unnvering smile at the Hutt. He was starting to sense it was time to go.

"Three it is, then," Popo stated with a mental shrug. He didn't want the deal, then he didn't want the deal. "They'll be delivered in the next seven business days. The delivery fee, taxes, and product price are listed with the overall total at the bottom."

Popo hit a button on the desk and the numbers popped up on the screen. It was a heft sum, but cheaper than if he'd bought elsewhere. Popo would easily make a good profit here. The Hutt hit one more button and a small holopad popped out from the desk in front of the Sith.

"Just sign there for me and I'll have the funds transferred and the ship's prepared for delivery."

@[member="Arvis Syphex"]

Arvis watched silently, he listened too. The Hutt was smart, and he hoped they would have business in the near future. Or in the far future. It didn't matter when, as long as it happened. He could use him, maybe. He took the data pad that had appeared out of the desk in front of him. He signed his name in a clean and neat way.

"That is it then?" He asked. He supposed it was, there was nothing else to be done there. The bank was no doubt cleared of the credits that the transaction required. Besides, if it did try to take more than was negotiated Arvis made sure he had several accounts set up throughout the whole galaxy so that he couldn't be robbed wholly.

"That's it," the immense Shell Hutt said with a nod. "The order will be put out today and you'll have your three cruisers in seven or less business days."

The holo showed the transfer in real time and the payment went through perfectly. The paid amount showed up in the Tenloss Corporation's sales account and the three Cruisers showed as paid.

"Was there anything else?" Popo asked politely

@[member="Arvis Syphex"]

Arvis shook his head and grinned at the large Hutt. "No. It was a pleasure doing business with you." He said, continuing to grin at the Hutt. He was done at the moment. Perhaps for a few long months. But who knows..In the coming months he could have need of the Hutt again.

"Shall I find my own way out or will your guards escort me again?" He inquired, suddenly realizing he didn't really remember his way back to his ship.

Popo hit a button on the intercom and then hit a key on the holoprojector. The holo disappeared as two Wheel security guards entered.

"I'll have my men escort you back down to the public areas," Popo said neutrally. "If you want, they can show you back to the docking areas, or you can browse any of the casinos, resorts, or other areas on the Wheel that might amuse you. In fact..."

Popo opened a drawer on the desk and rummaged for a moment. After a few seconds, he pulled out a gold colored casino chip in the shape and style of an old, pre-engine wagon wheel. He handed it to a guard who gave the chip to the Sith.

"Take this," the big Hutt stated. "It's worth ten thousand credits for use on the wheel in any casino on the station. You can't cash it out, but you can trade it in for a corresponding value of chips at any casino here. Take some time on your way back, hit up a casino or two, enjoy yourself a bit before you head off station. Or, if you're too busy today, keep the chip for use at a later date. It doesn't expire."

@[member="Arvis Syphex"]

He wasn't going to stay at the casino longer than he should. What would the sight look like? A Sith Pureblood at the slots! Pah! Arvis himself almost broke down in laughter imagining himself playing the casino games. "Perhaps at a later date." He said with a friendly smile. He took the chip from the Hutt.

With a nod, he backed out the room with the two security guards and they led the way for him back to the docks, and to his ship. It was time to return to Korriban.

Popo watched the man go and went back to his files. He had a lot of work to do and little time to do it in. Rather, little time to do it in before a similar opportunity arose.

A short time later, his guards told him that the Sith had neared the docks and would be leaving shortly. That was alright with Popo. The Sith had bought a trio of cruisers and added to Tenloss' profits. Perhaps later the man would return to spend more money...
