SITH FLEET MOVING TO INTERCEPT REPUBLIC SHIP

Balaya looked on, the Apotheosis and The Imperator had been brought with an interdictor and a Tulak Hord was going to be needed to make this happen while she turned to see @[member="Krag"] and @[member="Eruna Delmarra"]. For the first time she was actually torn on what to do in terms of fighting. Her master was on that ship, someone she cared for but knew the sith code of what must be done. On the other... Kaine was a danger in Republic space, not because they might break him but he could just screw with the empire to make sure it was weakened to have his return. Overshadow anyone who tried to be the emperor by screwing them over, it was a danger they couldn't risk happening while she spoke.

"When the ships come out of hyperspace, make sure we get the interdictor up and going, this should the the route to Coruscant they take for Kaine to stand trial." Her face went over to the others while the armor gleamed. "Emperor Krag we are preparing, there is the prototype Haunter TIE for sneaking aboard the enemy ship and we shall do as we need to make sure Kaine does not stay captured. every soul on this ship is ready to destroy the republic vessel on your command."

Eruna was prepped and ready for what was to come. She'd told R7, her faithful droid, to wait for her until this mission was done. A great task was presented: to either liberate or silence the former Emperor of the Sith before he gave away what was needed for the Republic to gain a great advantage over them. She stood by her master and her master's master, the newly crowned Emperor of the Sith, @[member="Krag"]. Brutish a he was Eruna hoped he at least had the smarts to lead the Sith out of an already dangerous position they found themselves in. When Master @[member="Balaya Zambrano"] had mentioned the use of a new TIE fighter Eruna perked up at the chance to pilot it.

"I'd be happy to provide the escort." she said with a smirk. "I'm not trying to boast or anything but I am a damn good pilot and we may need that if we want to get on that ship undetected."

Krag could sense him, the former Dark Lord of the Sith...he was on that ship. The beast of an Emperor took a deep breath and exhaled slowly as he focused on Kaine's presence. He wanted to be sure Kaine did not interfere with his own plans, killing him was one of multiple solutions and he could feel that Balaya was troubled with the current mission. Still, Krag wanted to accompany her onto the Republic vessel and deal with Kaine himself, whether that be killing him or some unseen second option was yet unknown...but Krag was not going to let his subordinates out show him.

"I will board the enemy vessel with you, prepare the TIEs and be ready to engage and destroy any non-essential Republic craft."

Lets be honest, their going to capture me.))

Inside a cell alone, and unmoving was a pale and scarred man, one ferocious took up the majority of his face as he sat in utter silence. He'd found a name, avenger in some forgotten tongue, Vindica. He was Darth Vindica, finally. Yellowed eyes scanned the floor as he waited of so patiently, he'd be free soon. Oh so soon.

Republic Starship

The paragon sat on a seat on the bridge clicking through the control console of the Republic starship holding @[member="Kaine Zambrano"] and @[member="Marcus Faust"] captive en route to Coruscant. His eyes rose from the holoscreen as he sense a disturbance in the Force. His passive precognitive heightened senses detected a shadow clouding over the wavelengths of the Force. Something was amidst as he looked to the others on the bridge. Reluctant as it were, he still trusted his instincts as he glided his hands over a few nodes to set the security protocols to all hands on deck. His foresight had struck.

"I have a very bad feeling about this."

A'donari sat cross legged in front of @[member="Kaine Zambrano"]. He had seen evil before but the face the Sith had worn while fighting had been that of a dead soul. Jedi Masters of the council surrounded the cells that held the two Sith. A disturbance was growing stronger close to his heart. The force was acknowledging the marks of evil. Stains on purity approaching where he sat now. There was nothing one could do truthfully. The smart option was that like he was making. He was comfortable and without fear. Living within the force as if each day had been his last. Looking away from the shackled Sith Lord he looked to the master closest to him, "They won't let him go without a fight it appears."
@[member="Darc Xavior Talus"]

He sensed the presence of the man he fought side by side with. The man who he watched get captured by what appeared the whole of the upper hierachy of the Jedi Order. It had been almost, fear inspiring at the time, but he didn't let it show at the time. If he did, they would have no doubt tried to give him the speech of redemption that he heard echo over the courtyard when Kaine was fighting the Jedi.

Arvis headed to the hangar bay to wait for his Master and the rest of the Sith taskforce that was coming. He wanted to see where his Master was going, whether on a shuttle or a..Definitely shuttle. The Emperor was surely too big for a simple starfighter. So, Arvis had elected he as well would take the shuttle with his Master and the others of the taskforce. He would have to prove himself today, he would have to kill Kaine Zambrano. He had nothing against him, he was just weak. He was after all captured by the Jedi instead of bringing them all down with him.

Arriving in the hangar bay, he waited by the shuttle that he figured they would all be taking to the republic ship.

Aboard Republic ship

Sarianna could feel it as the enemies came. The ship was ripped out of hyperspace and the jedi knight moved gathering her twin staffs as the saber and sasori walking staff became a thing. They needed to defend the prisoner and she had a smirk on her face at that. There was nothing but time right now. It couldn't have been many sith who were attacking them.

Slowly Vindica rose, a small smile creeping across his lips. The dark robed shadow of a man finally made a noise. He laughed, in perhaps the darkest most sinister way ever done by a man. The Sith Assassin felt his blood boil in rage and anticipation of the coming freedom, and the blood it would bring. Oh he was so different from the man he once was, he still remembered the name but it mattered little. Marcus Faust would not kill all of these whelps aboard the Republic vessel, no, Darth Vindica would do that. And he'd enjoy every second of it.

They had taken great care to restrain the former Emperor of the Sith Empire. A multitude of mandalorian iron chain and bindings covered him from head to toe, his legs and arms bound together, a chain firmly secured around his neck with its chain attacked to the phrik walls of his cell, and a muzzle covering his mouth so he could not call upon the force to cry out at his captors. They also had him under constant watch and guard by the most stalwart and stoic of Jedi, many of them non-Humans resilient to the effects of the mind, and thus very much safe from Kaine's own powerful mind. They had also erected a field of Light side energy to keep his Dark Side nature suppressed to keep him weak, and he hated them all for it. His burning yellow eyes shone out like wildfire from under the mask they had affixed to his face, and his muscles bulged as he constantly pushed against his restraints despite the futility of it all.

Despite his weakened state he could feel them coming, a darkness beyond the walls of light that sought him out specifically. They wanted to destroy him, fearing him for what he could do to them if he was freed or if the Jedi managed to make him crack. He eagerly waited for them in his cell, waiting for them to free him from his prison of light.

One way or another.

Balaya gave a nod to the emperor as she saw both the ship and their chance, the Apotheosis near the interdictine as she moved preparing to fight but also looking at Eruna who was coming. Such a skilled one and right now as they went for the hanger she saw it. The TIE Haunter from Thule and from Kaine's stash. "Eruna use the Haunter, follow us over and sneak about. We'll draw their attention and you sneak around and find Kaine." The large zeltron looked at her apprentice and motioned with her head while turning to the transport and the emperor Krag. She got in while securing her armor and making sure it was in place while they took off towards the large ship.

Eruna perked when her master had said SHE was to go and find Kaine. She felt a bit surprised that she was given the major duty of finding him but something else was on her mind. "And when I find him, what then?" she asked. It was clear what she was really asking was kill him or not when she did. After getting her orders Eruna nodded before making her way to the Haunter. She waited until her master and the rest of the landing party took off before doing so herself, following as ordered until making it onto the ship.

The newly crowned Emperor Vulcanus sat patiently in the shuttle, his burning eyes starring daggers at Balaya as the ship lifted off the deck and began its way towards the ship currently transporting Kaine. Vulcanus breathed heavily as he prepared himself for battle, his clawed hand stroke up and down the rip of his Sith Sword as the ship made its way to the target.

He had his lightsaber within his robe's sleeve. His amphistaff was located on his back and he garbed in his now trademarked armour. He was ready to free or kill the previous Emperor. But it would no doubt be to kill him, Kaine Zambrano. And he no doubt knew that. They most probably had defenses in place to prevent him from utilizing the Force and to speak his spells. He watched the Emperor Vulcanus, he tried to gauge his feelings through the Force about the situation.

It was a good day to kill Jidai.

Vinyata sat cross-legged in the troop bay of the S90 MAAT gunship, meditating, concentrating her energy toward the upcoming fight. Red and black dark side energy radiated from her body and coursed through her veins. She had been selected for this top-priority mission, and it was necessary for her to conserve and gather all her energy. The most powerful Jedi in the galaxy were onboard the Republic ship guarding the once great Sith Emperor. If Vinyata was going to survive, and not suffer the dishonorable fate that befell the Emperor, she needed to be prepared. The fact that the most powerful Sith in the galaxy had chosen her for this mission she found incredible, and it was one of the few times in her life she had felt humility at her selection. Obviously they saw great potential in Vinyata, or else they would't bother taking on a mere Sith Apprentice. Then again, everyone has always seen great potential in me. Vinyata thought arrogantly, thinking back to the days of the Old Republic before her stasis. Then the Sith she had been close friends with and dueled in Kagath's with were what it meant to be truly powerful, their connection to the dark side dwarfed any Sith that she had yet encountered in this modern era. Vinyata quickly snapped out of her nostalgia, not wanting to be overcome with sadness. She kept her eyes shut and kept meditating as the gunship loaded with 30 elite commandos loyal to her crept closer and closer toward the Republic gunship.

Along with the rest of the Sith, Darth Apparatus had been summoned to retrieve the fallen Emperor. Unlike his normal response to requests by the Sith Empire, Darth Apparatus appeared.

Since Manaan, the Darth had grown increasingly decrepit. He would cough every half minute. He seemed hunched over almost constantly.

When the Republic ship was attacked, Darth Apparatus disappeared from the view of the rest of the Sith. Instead of taking a shuttle, Darth Apparatus got on board of a craft much like an escape pod - yet it was meant for torpedoing into the hull of a ship and deploying a small squad inside.

Using this sort of transportation meant that failure equaled death.

As the Republic and Empire exchanged fire and shuttles made their way toward the Republic ship holding Kaine, Darth Apparatus’s assault pod zipped by at an incredible speed. With the Republic’s shields in distress due to the attack and sudden drop from hyperspace, the assault pod was able to embed itself into the hull. The friction of the impact produced enough head to weld the metal of the assault pod and hull together and form an air-tight seal.

Darth Apparatus managed to land inside of a hall - yet Kaine was still far away - and Republic troops would begin to diverge on his position. The Sith Lord drew a crimson lightsaber in his right hand and stepped out of the assault pod. Debris had been thrown out before him due to the impact.

When the ship came to a screeching halt, at least that's how it felt, his body slammed forward throwing him to the floor. A'donari picked himself up quickly getting to his feet and readjusting his clean Dark Grey robes while looking between the two Sith who remained silent. "Hahaha." he said sarcastically. "That funny to you two? Losers." Alarms began to blare while the lights flickered slightly. He didn't wait for an answer before hitting the comm button on his ear with command of the force and speaking openly across the ship, "Defenses at the ready. Enemy forces are coming for their kind. They will use deadly force so be prepared to do the same." A'donari didn't wait from a response before dropping himself into the force trying to soak up as much needed energy as he could take in. The energy replenished his mind helping him to think more clear. Staying coherent within the room of other friendly faces allowed him to be active but oh how he wished some of his Mando friends were here. The Sith weren't coming to hold hands.....

The reunion of old friends

The paragon braced on the control console as the impact caused a tremor throughout the starship. Red lights flashed and alarms sounded.

"Report!"

"Hull breach, starboard side! We are being besieged!"

"Activate deflector shields! Secure all turbolifts and blast doors! Commence full starship lockdown!"

He stood from his control console and went towards the rear door.

"Commander, you assume the bridge. Lockdown the door behind me. Do not open this door at any cost until the Sith are dealt with. They are here for the prisoners."

"Aye, Master Talus."

He exited the bridge and marched through a long corridor leading towards the point of impact. It wasn't too long he could sense a too familiar force signature. It was as if he was sent back one thousand years into the past. The Sith Council and the Battle of Dathomir. A single word whispered in his breath.

"Apparatus."

A very old friend...

Losers? The Jedi were self proclaimed guardians of the galaxy, and yet they were using insults wielded by children in a school yard, how sad. Vindica looked onto @A'donari Cinn as he returned to silence. The Darth had been subtlety working away at his restraints since he had been brought aboard, he wasn't done yet, but ever so gradually he was progressing. Then all the Jedi would die.

The Republic soldiers that first met Darth Apparatus ended up dead. It seemed as if they were struck down by typical lightsaber combat - scorch marks across their chest and other body parts.

As @[member="Darc Xavior Talus"] attempted to approach Darth Apparatus, the Sith Lord continued to move through the hallways of the ship away from him and just out of sight. He seemed to be winding and turning around the ship without a sensible direction.
