To be Vod, or not to be Vod.

[member="Darth Erebos"]

Finally she took one of breathing systems, now all she had to do was take out the other. She reached out with the force, and grabbed her lightsaber. As it reached her hand, a blast came from underneath her. It throw her upwards, she screamed in pain as it did. As it made contact she erected a force bubble, she did this by throwing her hands out. As the barrier was erected, it pushed back towards the metallic ground. She then landed, safe inside her bubble, but now getting very sore indeed. She had to switch tactics for a while, she need to heal and then redouble her efforts. She waited for him to stop, trying to hit her lighting then it would be time.

As he saw her land in her bubble he clicked his tongue. "Tisk." He said as he took out his saber and took a hard ready shien stance with his saber pointed upwards. With his annoyance over [member="Sabine Kurtass"] now close to borderline anger he charged towards her. This time he was aware of her cortosis gauntlets and would avoid them at almost any cost. The battle style he would use would be a mix of shii-cho, Shien, K'thri and Stava blended into a fluid and free flowing style that was precise and unpredictable.

To begin with he'd come in at her with his saber raised in a wide slash but would change to pure martial arts if she'd resort to using her gauntlets again. In case she did resort to using her gauntlets he'd counter it with nerve strikes aimed to try and make her hands useless.

As she took deep breath, she heard him Tisk her. It was time to recover before, relaunching her attack on his secondary re breathing system. She focused her energy inward, and channeled it through her sith amulet. As she did the force bubble dissipated, and so did the lactic acid built up as result of his lighting strike. As she raised to her feet, she lite up her lite lightsaber, and took up form V. She then went to engage him, he was faster than her as her energy was mainly focused on her amulet. Though focusing on defensive lightsaber form, meant she could hold of any attacks the might result in death strike. Though any glancing blows would probably get through, fortunately her phirk plate armour would adsorb these blows. Though her intent was not to strike him, other than the odd feint. It was to keep him occupied, so he could not try an use the force to much against her.

He took each of her blows, his focus mainly in maintaining his lightning shield and to parry and try to redirect her blows to give him an opportunity to strike. With a faint downwards slash aimed at her head, he brought his leg to bear towards her gut with his true attack. This was how he continued to hammer at her with blows, a feint then an attack sometimes he brought in three feints just to mess with her flow. For that was his intent to mess up her flow and to take utter control of the engagement. "Just give up little mandalorian. I've seen through your tricks and that amulet won't save you. Once I've beaten you I think I'll turn you into a shambling horror of a sith spawn and send you after the one that put the bounty on my head." He said while he used Dun Möch to undermine her confidence, concentration and to try and sow a little fear in her.

As he talked she still healing, though now not as quickly. She smiled a bit atleast, he called her mandalorian. [member="Ember Rekali"] did not even extend her that courtesy, this was why she was here to prove it. Her burnt skin from his previous attack, began to die and harden to allow it heal underneath it. As it did his attack had made her wonder why she was fighting for someone who would not recognise her loyalty, wait why she listening to him, he was just blasphemous sith. She then went to strike at side of his neck, she was no aiming to hit him. She was aiming to skim and sever the airpipe, between his oxygen tank and his mask. She would know if she hit, by the instant hissing noise.

The hissing the emanated from his mask made it seem as if he was a snarling animal. He had come at her with a heavy lightsaber strike towards her left shoulder to try and disable as much of her arm as he could with the force assisted strength to the strike. Backing off when the hissing began he gripped with his right hand to his mask to try and lessen the noise as he came at her with a broad swipe aimed at decapitating her. "You queen! You think the one you're doing this for will mourn your loss?! Or even try to avenge you? Your here to prove yourself, most likely to someone who doesn't even care about you!" He then shouted as the force around him began to shimmer and contort as he focused himself to a calm state, finally ending in an unnatural cold around him within the force.

[member="Darth Erebos"]

She still hear his voice, it starting to get to her a little. She did not like being called queen, she was doing this not to be mourned lost or revenged, she was doing this to begin earning the respect she deserved. Her wounds where healing even slower now, but healing none the less, epidermal layers where beginning to renew themselves. He then took a broad swipe at her, and tried to decapitate her. She blocked barely, but the force of the hit sent her crashing to floor. As she hit deck with a bang, the noise rang out through the room. Then she realised the hissing had stopped, and she brought her lightsaber up defend herself from his next strike when she let off one of her grenades. The grenades where designed to stop force user, from being able to use the force. The grenades gas began to fill the room, as it did her own rebreather kicked in. She half smiled under her mask, he won't be calling me queen for much longer, she thought to herself.

He was about to bring down a hard strike on top of her after she had crashed into the floor after his strike but as he was about to bring it down he noticed she threw a grenade and jumped several meters back. "Have you gone insane? You can't beat me and then you decide to take me down with... you..." He began but then he noticed that the grenades carried a gas and as it spread a large blank in the force did as well. "You fucking Whore..." He then snarled out as he realized it was one of those hated anti force user grenades, his grasp on his saber became so tight that he almost heard the metal groan in protest.

Looking around in a hurry to memorize the area and to see if he could vent the gas out of the hangar before it would reach him or [member="Sabine Kurtass"] would throw another one. He saw the climate controls on the other end of the hangar. With grinding teeth of anger he looked towards her or the blank spot he had last seen her. "Is your intent to kill me or capture me? Because if you are doing this for recognition you are in the wrong company if they can't see you are skilled." He then said, admitted more like. There were few who could stand toe to toe against him when he differentiated from the normal lightsaber styles but Sabine had stood up to him and even gotten a few good hits in.

He could see the gas was now getting to him and he moved one arm over the front of his mask where the breathing apparatuses were, the damaged filters and scrubbers. With a last ditch effort on his part he raised a small piece of metal and aimed it at the climate controls and shot it forwards with terrifying speed. He heard it impacting something and if it was the climate controls then it would still take time for the gas to be vented out but now he was blind. The crackling of lighting had stopped and he was motionless in a ready stance, his finger moving to click on the silent mode of his lightsaber and not even a low hum could be heard from it, he needed to have his ears as well functioning as he could. His mind almost slipped into the times he had trained blind with his father but he didn't let it, instead he focused it into a razor.

She rose up to her feet, after his last attack sent her crashing to the floor with the sheer momentum of it. As she rose up she realised her turned the climate controls on, it mattered not as the substance would be in his system and would last awhile anyway. She then realised her healing began to speed up, and her self doubt began to wain. It was him, who was interfering with her use the force, he was good, but not good enough today it seemed. Though the fight was not over yet, and something she learned, it was not over till it was over. As she rose to her feet she made bit of noise, and he turned his head towards her. He asked her question, she ponder the answer for a moment. Kill or capture are same result for me, that ball is in your caught not mine. Lay down your blade, and I shall lead you to my gunship, put you cell with a nice little lizard next to it. Then take you to meet Ember Rekali, he is the one who put the bounty on your head after all. If you don't then I shall be forced to dispose of you, and without the force for say the next hour how long do you think you will last. She could feel the skin healing quickly now, so quickly it was itching as it did. She got ready for his answer, as if he did not lay down his weapon, she would be forced to take him down, which despite him being a blasphemer, it still be waste of force user. As for recognition, that always comes with skill eventually. She added, to answer his final question.

"I have a better alternative. You take me in but don't but me next to those infernal lizards that everyone seems to have breeding like rabbits. And I'll go quietly..." He said as he turned his saber off but not before he scribbled something into the ground under him, then moved over it so his robes and boots hid it. Putting the saber back on his belt he crossed his arms and waited for [member="Sabine Kurtass"] to make her move. "You must realize that thanks to my... genetics shall we say? I have quite the aversion to those Lizards, even dosing me with this gas you hit me with is all right... just keep those lizards away from me." He said as he breathed in and exhaled loudly. "Also you leave my mask alone, you can make sure it doesn't have any electronics you think would help me escape in any way or just put me in stasis..." He realized he had begun rambling but he was nervous for the first time in his life, he was at her mercy and that was something he hated.

She started to feel sorry for him, after all he would beat her if was not for her grenade, then again that was her strategy from the beginning. She walked over to him and said Agreed. She then gently took him by the hand, and escorted him to her ship. After you served what ever penance @ember rekali has in store for you, I will ask you be moved to my residence on Serenno. She then took to her ship boarded and left coruscant. Her voice was soft, as she did not want to alarm him to much, and wanted to give him hope, even if it was false hope.

He knew that he wouldn't be left to [member="Sabine Kurtass"]'s care after Rekali was done with him, his kind was never given a second chance even though everyone he had killed was in some way or another in self defense. "Which ever way this will end, I'm sure I won't be moved to your residence." He half whispered through his mask as he let her lead him, the scratches he left behind was the words "Mandalorians" It would come in handy in the plans he had for the future, a future he had planned for quite vigorously as he would easily outlive Sabine by at least a century or two due to his heritage.

[member="Darth Erebos"]

You never know, what the future holds it hard to predict, even to us. She replied as she took him on to her ship, she lead him to prison cell. She moved the lizard far enough away, if he escaped he run straight into it. She wonder if she would outlive him, after all she started uncovering the ability transferring her essence. Though it took her four hours in her first attempt, and that was on holy site on ilum. She sat down on other side of force field, and asked him So may I ask how you interpret our code, as I see it as universally binding? Her voice was calm and relaxed, and she was not going to be threatening him. This was more curiosity, as to see if the sith have yet understood the error of their way, in the interpretation of the sith code.

Erebos was glad when he felt the lizard being moved away from him, even though the gas had shaken his connection to the force he still felt a connection even though he couldn't use it, when around those lizards he felt as if he had lost a limb. He sat down in his cell in a meditative posture and listened to her, the question was an interesting one to be sure. "I see parallels to the code in nature, the strong have fought to get to their positions and the weak are most often food or trampled under foot. But to me the code isn't something that's universally binding, it's a set of guide lines to allow us to grow and nurture our natures to fuel our powers. I've often been at odds with the other Sith lords due to this view point but tell me what do you view it as?" He said, speaking first with a calm demeanor and then asking her in curiosity as he felt [member="Sabine Kurtass"] wasn't just some force using mandalorian, she knew far to much to be just that.

[member="Darth Erebos"]

Well my former master Darth Banshee explained better, but I will try. This was a lie she was Darth Banshee, as records will show she left after genocide on Zeltros. As she went against everything she believed in, as it begets hate against them. She then continued Well like you said it is nature, and every living thing obeys the law of nature regardless. The sith code is embodiment of that, and like nature everything and one obeys it, even the jedi. This where sith fail every time we become strong again, as we do things that create hate against us. Like destruction of Alderaan under emperor palpatine, as until that point the rebels where nothing. Then people began not just fear us, but hate us as well. Again when the original one sith massacred the people of manaan, the galaxy began to turn against them. Then yours how many massacres and genocides have been done in there name, and then galaxy turned against you. She paused and took a drink of water, he had her on favourite subject something something she rarely had time to debate, let alone with a fellow sith. As somehow we also forget, fear is weaker than hate, in if our enemies no longer fear us but hate us, they gain strength the power and brake free of us. When she spoke it was quite passionately, as the sith code was her all. That was why she called him a blasphemous earlier in the duel.

When it came to Erebos he only used the code when it suited him, he didn't follow it blindly as some sith did and he never saw a true purpose to the massacres that his fellows in the sith did. "You make a valid point. It is our emotions that grant the sith their strength but in the over excess of feeding them we gave our enemies the hate they needed to forge their weapons against the one sith. I've always cautioned the other sith to handle their emotions, not to the point of my cold rage but to not delve so deeply into them either like they do." He said as he began to steady his breath and feel at ease, even his feel in the force was much more like one would expect of a jedi in balance than a sith, not having to focus on his sight all the time was oddly relaxing to him.

[member="Sabine Kurtass"] did seem to hold more knowledge or even philosophy that he could learn and though he was her prisoner he could at least use the trip to garner some insight or even gleam a nugget of wisdom from her.

She asked him, Has the drug started wearing off yet? She asked as she get crew member to give him the antidote, he was not threat now. As if he did go for her, they both be in that lizards bubble. As it only take the crew member one step forward, so the risk was minimal. Also if you want food or a drink, just ask. Then she went back to sith code, The true strength is knowing when you got them to fear you, but to push any further. Though that is a hard task, one the mandalorians somehow manage to do. Though I think it is they try and make the enemy to blame for them attacking, rather than they found an excuse to attack. It is quite admirable quality of theirs. She was now more at ease, she was in pleasant and agreeable company. Shame he insulted a mandalorian clan, it could have been quite a friendship.

He shook his head when asked if the drug was wearing off, he could feel slivers of the force but not anywhere close to being able to "grip" them and use. "Thank you for your hospitality." He said before he listened to her. "While I do admit the Mandalorians do have strength and their honor is something most speak of though I've never met a mandalorian face to face to be able to judge that." He said as he then thought a little about what [member="Sabine Kurtass"] had said. "Now while fear is a great tool to use there is another that can be used just as well and even more easily as well." He said, pausing a little to breath in a hard breath, his hand gripping his side as he felt the fractured rib in his side. "Adoration, an army and people will to quite a lot of things for a leader they love and respect." He said and something in his voice made it sound as if he knew from experience.

That is powerful [member="Darth Erebos"], but most people hate sith, due to antics of Darth Vornskr way of seeing things. She countered his point, with the unfortunate way of the world. Some sith are inspired by him, more than the likes of her. As they see the instant gratification of his actions, but not the long term effects, the short sighted fools. So to do that, where every sadistic idiot with the force calls them selfs sith, would take a miracle. This was weird she was having fun talking to him, she not done this in years, talking like this. She missed the sith when they just could talk and where family, like the one sith where before they attracted dark jedi, who said they where sith. Then a crew member came to them with water, and a few sandwiches, she took a drink and couple sandwiches the rest was offered to the prisoner.

[member="Darth Carnifex"]

At that though Erebos chuckled. "Isn't that the truth. I feel the name of sith has been polluted by these sadistic idiots claiming to be sith as they abandon their minds for skills with the lightsaber and blood lust." He said as he then pressed a button on his mask and it opened just slightly to allow him to eat and drink, at this time he graciously accepted. It then dawned on him as he looked up at [member="Sabine Kurtass"]. "You began as a sith didn't you? Did only your philosophical differences cause you to leave the One sith?" He then asked her before he took a large bite from the sandwich brought to him and took a large swig of the water, he realized he hadn't eaten for quite a while.
