BIOGRAPHY:
Hailing from the Imperial-held world of Telos IV, Jaxon "Jay" Vorhees was born to a pair of farmers. The Vorhees family wasn't in poverty, but struggled to make their living and survive. They raised their only son to be the best he could, teaching him everything they could and pushing him to attain good grades at school. Jay did fairly well in school, but had participation issues. He'd rather work by himself than with others, which led to his isolation throughout his childhood. This was a result of being an only child. When not completing chores on the Vorhees' farm, he was off in the woods by himself. He hunted, explored, and soon became an expert tracker and hunter. With few friends in his childhood, he grew up a lonely boy.
However, this all changed when an Imperial recruiter came into town one day. He flashed propaganda of the elite Stormtrooper Corps, highlighting the opportunities for adventure, money, and the career of a lifetime. Jay was ecstatic. He jumped at the chance to enlist as soon as he turned 18 and signed up right away. His parents were proud of his decision to make something of himself, but deeply saddened at the departure of their only child. Soon, he was off to Basic Combat Training and then on to specialized training. Most of the options sounded fun, but one stood out among the rest. The Scout Trooper Corp, an elite within the elite. Their forte lay in recon, land navigation, intelligence gathering, and mobile infantry warfare. He was exceptional at all of those except for the final one, as he had no combat experience.
His Scout Trooper training ensued. Harsh training day and night, spent either alone or with another recruit. He soon passed the trials and was given the honor to be called a Scout. After specialized training, he was immediately shipped off to 6 years of harsh combat on the frontlines.
