Decoria Industries had been working on a new alloy that could be durable, not too dense and capable of taking many energy and kinetic hits. The alloy mixed the lighter titanium with the very dense quadranium which combined made a lighter but equally strong alloy that could endure a lot of damage. However, it was still heavier than just titanium and other metals or alloys, but the increase in protection was too much of a benefit.
