Of late Jordar's days had been filled with dealing with galactic crises that seemed to come out of nowhere every day. Comparatively running a planet was a simple affair when compared to being a representative of an entire world in an assembly of thousands of worlds, each with an overinflated ego and delusions of grandeur as well as the propensity for long-winded speeches that somebody else wrote for them, he shook his head as he walked into the Angel's Tear cantina, it would not be uncommon for him to venture in here Viceroy or not there where few things Jordar enjoyed more than a strong drink and a cigar.

Jordar made his way in and took a table in the back, it would be clear he came her enough as a waitress came brought his drink over he gave a nod of appreciation chatted with her a bit before she resumed her work and he finally leaned back in his seat and took a long drink of his Corellian whiskey, likewise he pulled out one of his cigars and took a long drag off of it as his eyes roamed the cantina, it was the usual crowd, nothing out of the ordinary as far as he could see anyways.

When business occasionally took place off planet, Lyra more often than not jumped at the opportunity. While Dal'Bor was an alright place to live, getting off of Soceras once in a while was more than okay with her. Yes, she was well paid in her day-to-day job; The Dive was her domain, a place she was in and working far more than she was outside of - and that was okay, she didn't mind it. But the other business she had her hands in always paid better, no matter what she had banked during the week at The Dive. So once again when it had been asked of her to leave Soceras, to go and meet someone who needed the dish on someone else - or rather, someone else and their company.

Business had went as expected; the man had spent more time hitting on Lyra than he had listening to what she had to say. Luckily, she was good at avoiding conversation and/or steering around lewd commentary. Plus she had prepared for that very scenario and presented holodiscs with information rather than attempting to take the time to explain herself over and over again. The information was passed along, payment had been exchanged, and then the redhead had excused herself before the man could ask if she wanted to make any extra money more than once.

"What a pig." she scoffed, for what wasn't the first time as she made her way as far from the exchange as she could possibly get. She needed a drink, something to take the edge off of the ridiculousness that had just went down - even if she had known it was going to happen. It didn't take her long to find a cantina, and while she studied the name of the place with creased brow for a moment or two, eventually Lyra's shoulders shrugged and she made her way inside. While it was nothing like The Dive back home, the redhead found that fact quite endearing and therefore had no problems with making her way across the floor to the bar.

She knew what she wanted, so long as they had it here. Not having her well known barkeep tended to present a problem from time to time. Whatever the case, Lyra really didn't care what she got to drink, so long as it was sweet and it was strong. Once she got that point across, she shifted herself so that she could lean her back against the bar and observe cantina slowly. Old habits, and all that.

The cantina was as it usually was, busy but quiet enough he could relax and just watch and drink, his favorite past time here since Coming to Fondor was to get to know the people as best he could, because ultimately they were the power and what he needed to consider to prosper this world.

As he perused the crowd from his table he noticed a woman he had not seen in here before. The red hair alone he would have remembered if not for the fact of her slender and elegant frame being also attention getting. With a wave her called the waitresses over. “Anything the lady at the bar with the red hair wants? Goes on my tab” she simply nodded and moved off to tell the bartender as he looked back to the crowded cantina.

It had only taken a short amount of time for word to get from the waitress, to the bartender, and then to Lyra that her drinks were covered. This news had caused her to scan the crowd, and then her attention went to those working the establishment. Being in the industry, she knew what she needed to say and who she needed to talk to in order to get the information that she wanted. So it didn't take her very long at all to be informed of the source of this charity.

As such, she thanked the informant, took up her glass, and then made her way across the room. She did not sit at the table, and it was admittedly very, very difficult not to approach like she was on the clock after so many years of performing. But she managed, and then she offered a curious soft of smile to the man seated. "I'm having trouble deciding if you're showing off, or just being friendly..." she let out, clearly amused by the prospect of either answer.

He chuckled a bit and shrugged "Take it however you like, I see a face I don't recognize I assume that person is a guest on our world. Nothing nefarious or underhanded I promise" he stood up and approached her his drink in his left hand. He simply extended his right hand to her as he introduced himself. "My name is Jordar Varcskel, welcome to Fondor." he gave a warm sincere smile, it was not the practiced niceties of a politician he was just being friendly.

If she took his head or not, he would simply move back to the table, before motioning her to have a seat. "I wouldn't mind a bit of company if you feel like talking. If not, have a pleasant stay on Fondor." he raised his glass in a toasting motion then took a sip from it. There was no ulterior motive, no games being played he might in fact be one of the only ones in the galaxy that didn't have an agenda.
