Marnie sat aboard the cold metal ship with her eyes closed. Alliance soldiers were with her, as was another Jedi from the order, Master Thio. She had been assigned to accompany him to bring disaster relief to the frozen world of Fest.
A series of earthquakes had caused avalanches , snowing in factory workers and closing off access to mines. There were hundreds of workers trapped and thousands of people in need of supplies and food. The Jedi and a small group of troops were on the way to help.
Marnie was happy to be on a mission but she was less than thrilled to be contained within the metal beast of a ship. She was claustrophobic and highly preferred being outdoors. She closes her brown eyes and counted inside her head while her fingers fumbled with the fur on her winter uniform. The planet would be frigid and rough terrain but still she couldn’t wait to be there.
