When Sularen reactivated the Politorate , he made sure that the Intelligence Agency came equipped with new Units and Vessels to ensure that it could operate efficiently against its enemies. Thus Sularen began work on new Starships to further support the Politorate’s efforts to advance his Agenda. As part of this new initiative , Sularen envisioned a Stealth Shuttle capable of transporting Politorate Operatives and Spec-Ops Forces to any Planet without being detected from other groups and organizations. And thus the concept for the TIE/ST Stealth Transport was born.
The TIE/ST is primarily designed to transport a small elite task force to any destination without being caught by potentially hostile groups , allowing it to slip into even the most heavily defended planets in the Core such as Corellia or Kuat. The TIE/ST is equipped with a Cloaking Device which allows it to enter and leave planets at ease and further making it the ideal Stealth Transport.
