The TIE/ads Advanced Droid Seeker represents the very latest achivement in TIE starfighters designs created by Phlac-Arphocc Automata Industries, a subsidary corporation of the Trade Federation.

The Droid Seeker is widely regarded as an effective dogfighter and long-range interceptor, boasting five laser cannons and equipped with state-of-the-art deflector shield systems in order to survive better in one-on-one engagements.

Its sophisticated droid intelligence and precision targeting systems enable it to rival human pilots and even other automated starfighters currently in service. However, it is worth noting that the TIE/ads does have a notable drawback in the form that it is often slaved to a droid control computer when it is deployed, a cost saving measure implemented during its production within one of the Federation's numerous war factories.
