“Yeah everything going like clockwork!” she whispered and turned to hoist herself into the service hatch, but stopped to let the other shadowrunner lead and added, “You’re doing awesome, by the way. Just don’t let anyone shoot me and we are going to get on great.”

Clockwork, huh? Yeah, that was a pretty good description so far. They would better hope that the battery of the clock didn't run out on them or that there was a fault in the mechanics. However, curious and sceptic as she were against strangers, Brie kept an eye on the newbie girl. Ever since Darkwire begun to resurface from The Tombs, a lot of new faces had joined or at least offered to help them in their cause, and Brie knew that the risk of someone doing so with bad or otherwise wrong intentions were always present.

''Tss, haven't had the need to use my blaster yet! Who knows? Maybe I'm Darkwire's most terrible shooter?'' Brie jested and flashed the rather funny girl a wink, as they made their way down through the maintenance shaft. Even though suspiciousness rested in the back of her head, she did find the older girl kind of interesting and easy to like. Brie had rarely missed the opportunity for at least one joke during a mission. It made things a lot more easier and boy, did she wanted the mission to stay the quiet and calm way!

“Uhh.. Someone else is down there..” Erisa whispered to Brie, putting a warning hand on the other woman's arm to suggest they embrace caution, allowing the nerves back into her voice again, “Someone strong. Be careful, please..”

Brie, also force sensitive, stopped in her tracks and tried to feel something. The girl was right, friend or foe, the presence were still worrying, as no one except them from the raid party were supposed to be in this cart right now. A moment of silence passed as the two girls listened and tried to determine the presence in the cart before they exposed themselves. Brie glanced at Eris and gave her a nod and small but reassured smile, summoning her inner tusk cat.

''Girl, you are speaking with careful!'' Brie assured the hacker, and came to think of the stealth belt that she wore. ''I will go first. Just wait here til I give you the word.'' she explained with genuine concern about the mission and her protégé. With the touch of a button on the belt, an energy field flooded over Brie and made her form almost perfectly transparent against the background. She looked at her hands once, having only tested the device a handful of times before, and it still worked. Pulling out her dart shooter, Brie took a deep breath, and very carefully opened the hatch and climbed out into the cart.

The two foot tall droid scuttled down the length of the cart in 6 spindly metal legs on its way to freedom and rescue by the owners of the cargo. It scuttled past the man who had his arms deep in the electronics of the carriage and towards a window half way between he and the dark haired woman waving her hands about.

The alarming sound of something approaching them very fast, made Brie shut the hatch and take cover behind a crate, forgetting that she were practically invisible. The small droid scuttled past their position and Brie turned her head to see it leaving into the next cart. A sigh of relief left her, thanking the stars that it had not detected them. She peeked out from behind the crate and the rest of the cart, the parts she could see, was dark and quiet. Brie sneaked over to the hatch again and opened it, figuring that she would find the face of an equally scared hacker in there.

''Hey, that was close! Are you okay? Eris, was it, right? Coast seems to be clear, so we better hurry.'' she whispered and kept and eye on both north and south directions of the cart.

"What are you doing!?"

"This!"

Felix's eyes darted towards the small droid scuttling away, leaping atop a seat to avoid being electro-prodded by the spindly contraption, before watching it scuttle its way along the length of the compartment. His cybernetic arm stretched out and fired a singular wire as the end of the line latched onto the outer hull of the droid. Yanking on the line and reeling the wire back into his arm, Felix cocked his arm back before swinging it in a wide arc over his head. ( Niamh Berkeley Niamh Berkeley )

In turn, the droid would follow suit. And it would most likely be sparking and sending current along the metal wire. Felix gritted his teeth. HIs arm would hold. It had to. Swinging the droid in an arc over his head, Felix aimed to have the electric bot to strike the turret and completely fry its internal circuitry. He'd have to thank the force user for covering him. ( Iris Arani Iris Arani )

"Come on!"

Two birds, one stone! Turret fried and droid damaged in a single swing. It had to work!

Iris panicked. Not because of another panic attack, but because an electrified droid was being swung around the compartment like a flail. She dove past Felix into the now open room, trying not to get caught by the wrecking ball. And paused as she glanced towards the strange feeling. Voidstone. It'd washed over her the moment she'd gotten too close, and now she could tell what it was.

There was only ever one reason to have Voidstone.

"Stop playing with that thing, there's someone trapped in here."

Voidstone could be broken, if it was found. She stood up, glancing about the room to see if she could find it. It was hard with the colors as muffled as they were, but she could see it. The darkest part of the absence.

"Can you shoot that rock?"

The innocent guard droid regretted everything in its life as it felt itself be flung around the carriage and finally met its maker being dashed into the turret that had until recently been its ally. The man though had accomplished hos goal of preventing the droid from escaping with what would likely by very incriminating pictures of the trespassers. The door was broken but with the power out, only dim light illuminated the carriage but Naimh could see the woman enter the room and react to something, she wasn't sure what.

"Can you shoot that rock?"

The girl overheard and finally made a sound calling out a muffled "Noo!" as she shuffled out into what little light there was so now that Iris Arani Iris Arani could see that the void she saw was tightly positioned around the other girl's neck and in a terrible place to be shot by the wrecking ball of a man just behind her. Naimh was scared, but she caught sight of the eyes of other girl that looked distinctly Keshi, it meant little, she could still mean harm, but it was something for the corporate prisoner to latch onto and hope that she would be free soon.

She wriggled around a little and managed to get her hand round to her side so the others could also see how tightly bound she was.

Stop playing.

Felix's head swiveled towards Iris before swiveling back to the turret and droid. His arms raised up before gesturing to the destruction and then gesturing to Iris. This went back and forth a couple times as Felix's mouth hung open with confusion.

"But-. I stopped the turret and the-. Nevermind," Felix shook his head and waved off his own remark before jogging after the force user. No use arguing how cool his stunt was and how it prevented more trouble being sent their way. Not when there was someone who needed them.

"Can you shoot that rock?"

As soon as Felix stepped inside and heard that, he ran a hand over his face before giving a single disappointed look at Iris. It only multiplied in intensity as his gaze shifted over to the kidnapped individual's muffled yelling and falling all over themselves to reveal the rock around their neck, like a little necklace. Felix rubbed the temples of his head before waving his hands at Iris in confusion.

"Oh, so because I have a gun, I should just shoot everything? That would solve all our problems?" the snark was his slight revenge for the force user not being impressed with his creative nonuse of a gun against that turret and droid. Alas, as Felix fished a knife out of his jacket and a small flashlight, he marched ahead past Iris and towards the kidnapped individual. Every step he took gave him more and more of a sickening feeling in his stomach.

He rubbed the side of his head. That stone. It was messing with him. He shook his head and shoulders and brought himself closer to the girl before helping the tied-up woman into a more upright sitting position before kneeling down to meet her eye-level. Turning on the small flashlight and biting it with his teeth to see her and the room more properly, Felix raised both hands up to mean no harm.

"Okay. We're here to help," Felix flicked the knife's blade out into the open, "Don't panic. Don't scream. Don't move until I'm done cutting the restraints. Alright? We're going to get you out of here."

Deftly and carefully, Felix worked at cutting and removing each restraint. First, he started with the one preventing her from talking. Then the one around her neck. He grasped ahold of the choker with the stone. That illness multiplied itself a hundredfold. His shoulders slumped as he leaned on one knee harder than the other. If this stone was what he thought it was, then simply destroying it might not do anyone any good. Any shards or remnants could be found and used. Despite its small size, it was still quite potent.

Instead he placed it inside his jacket for safekeeping. Before rolling his shoulders and powering through, Felix finished cutting and undoing the restraints around her arms and legs before taking a step back and raising his hands up, flicking the blade away back into its handle. Slowly, he put the knife away before dropping the flashlight into his hand.

"See? No harm done? I'm Felix by the way. Felix Faraday."

Maybe an introduction would help alleviate some fears.

"Oh, there's a person."

Iris squinted. She really couldn't see much with that rock there.

"Can't see anything. I'll wait outside."

She was already getting a headache from just being around it. So she stepped back into the hallway, glancing around through the colors. The Corpos were holding a hostage. That meant they were going to bury whatever this was once they realized it had been compromised.
