SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Ball mounted turret design.

  • Twin eight barrel design built in.

  • Ionization field can be enabled or disabled.

  • Internal temperature check, overheat warning.

  • Automated tracking and targeting sensors.

  • Automated target lock-on can be enabled.

  • Fully automatic, fast track mounting capable.

  • Trilamnium overlay, sianium power generator.

  • Heuristic data processing, tracking damage and firing rate.

  • 180° vertical and full 360° horizontal traverse.

Strengths:

  • Ball Turret: Gives the rotary hvc full traverse and a wider firing radius.

  • Ionization: Gun crews can enable an ionization field if necessary.

  • Trilamnium: Lends itself to the rotary hvc enabling a higher resistance to blaster/turbolaser-type weaponry.

Weaknesses:

  • Sianium: Utilizing a siaber power generator the rotary hvc is subject to the broken crystal flaw which may cause catastrophic results.

  • Overheating: Equipped with internal temperature checks to ensure the gun does not overheat. If the gun is not allowed time between firing sessions to cool down it may overheat causing the power generator’s siaber crystal to crack.

  • Barrel Degradation: Overheating may also cause degradation of the barrels which will then need to be repaired after the battle.

  • Turret: If the turret is hit it may cause the turret to not turn or turn at a slower radius.

  • Kinetic: Still vulnerable to kinetic weaponry.

DESCRIPTION
Created to take on swarms of starfighters, missiles or any other attack object. The Thunderbolt was built with a ball turret enabling a full 180° vertical and 360° horizontal traverse. This allows the rotary hvc a wider firing radius, in addition the Thunderbolt has ionization capabilities. Ionization fields can be enabled or disabled by the gun crews if it is determined to be necessary. Trilamnium overlay provides resistance to turbolaser/plasma-type weaponry.

Twin eight barrel design allows the Thunderbolt to unleash a large amount of firepower in relatively little time. Equipped with automated sensors to assist with target tracking, and lock on targeting. Heuristic data processing for damage tracking, and firing rate helping gun crews become more familiar with their guns.

While maintaining a high resistance to turbolaser/plasma-type weaponry. The gun itself is vulnerable to kinetic damage, which may cause the sianium power generator’s crystal to crack. Overheating may also lead to the crystal’s break - an internal temperature check and warning signal has been equipped on the gun.
