- HIGH MAINTENANCE: The Rotary Design is not a new thing in general, but it is on a Turbolaser! This design has a tendency to jam from time to time.
One thing that Captain Halpern noticed in his testing of new GAL ship design prototypes is the power transfer of Turbolasers. The design times got to work and came up with the "Thumper" cannon. It is not perfected yet, which makes them a better placement in "Forward" or "Aft" positions.
