  • Soundburst: Severe damage to the system can cause it to subject its user to devastating sound waves.

DESCRIPTION

Designed and built on the request of Evander Thule, this expensive and unique device is design to hide its user from even the most discerning of senses.

As is typical with cloaking devices, this innovation renders the user invisible by refracting light around their person, but the naked eye alone is not the only way to be detected.

The suite also integrates a sensor-baffling network, which conceals virtually every aspect of the user's presence beyond mere visibility. Delicate regulators match the wearer's external temperature to their surroundings, nullifying thermal sensors, while broad-spectrum sound bafflers prevent the user from being audibly detected within a small area.

Thus, opponents or systems that rely on non-sight-based detection are also typically out of luck, as the user emits no heat, noise, or radiation.

However, the system does possess a single (but glaring) weakness. Should it be damaged, its myriad dampening systems can briefly reverse polarity, subjecting the user to a disorienting burst of light and sound. Typically, this effect is severe enough to cause actual physical harm, in the manner of a sonic weapon.
