Tesh sat, eyes bulging, looking at the latest statements on the Mon Calamari Shipyards. The company had really gone downhill during its time under Silk. Tesh had worked a deal out and been transferred ownership of the company, but the process of moving the production yards back to Mon Calamari had been long and grueling, especially since his short lived stint with the Red Ravens. The official story was that he had been kidnapped, but since no ransom was ever posted, it was hard to believe. Tesh knew that there were plenty of people wanting him now, and he had to be extra careful with whatever he did.
He had just finally managed to get the last of the shipyards up and running the other day, but he had yet to order anything to be produced. The main problem, of course, was that he didn't have any buyers yet. He was looking at the Republic as one of his main buyers, as he planned to unite Mon Calamari with the Republic eventually. He was going to contact Kayleigh Tyven, the supreme commander of the Republic Combined Defense Forces and attempt to negotiate a contract. He knew he could supply them with quite a few ships, and their recent shift in military policy matched what he intended to do with the Mon Calamari Shipyards: produce smaller, but ultimately more numerous, ships instead of the classic Mon Calamari behemoths.
Carefully, he typed out a transmission.

Message:
Hello. I am Tesh Aquer, admiral of the Mon Calamari Defense Fleet and CEO of the Mon Calamari Shipyards. I was made aware that you are looking for a new supplier of starships, and I must say I am more than happy to be able to supply you. I am offering you a chance to stay at the marvelous Coral City Reef Hotel while we work out a contract, or we could do this through transmission. I am fine with either one. Please respond as soon as possible.
Signed: Tesh Aquer, Mon Calamari Defense Fleet Admiral and CEO of the Mon Calamari Shipyards
He hit "send" and watched the transmission disappear into the vastness of the holonet. Now, all he had to do was wait.
