Hello everyone!

First off, I'd like to thank everyone that's participated in our most recent threads. I know things have been busy with all of the invasions lately, and people might be bogged down with that.

We do have a few faction threads that are still active (see below), but I would also like to hear from everyone about the kind of threads you'd like to see! Dominion ideas? Let's hear them. Social threads? Yes, please. Adventures? Yaaaaas (shout out to Yuroic!).

Is there something you feel that we're lacking thread-wise? Let us know!

If you need a thread, grab some friends and take on one of the current missions. I'll be adding more soon.

On a personal note, I know I haven't been posting as much lately, and I apologize for the low activity. I have a lot going on at home with my toddler and preparing for our move. A heads up, I will be moving, hopefully in the next month or so, to our new house! So, once that happens my activity will drop as I get that completed and sort our my internet situation.

So, I will be counting on all of you to keep things going while I'm away. I'll still try to be around on discord, as I'm able.

Please know that any member of the faction is welcome to start faction threads at any time! This could include exploration, social, or training!

So i recently watched a Geed&Sundry Dread adventure... can we check for interest in a horror thread? maybe recruit one of the Sith Edgelords for an extra spoopy baddie?

XD hmmmm we ever done the whole mapping hyperspace routes? going into the abyss and finding things that are so arcane that they jsut boggle the mind? Come back and it leads to untold medical, tech, weaponry breakthroughs? Zombie filled ships? Silent Hill in space? jsut thoughts.....

For a dom.
I'd like some courtly intrigue in one. Not Kei's bag I know but I would like a big dealing with the royals, nobles plot. Have us mediating or enforcing attending a banquet, or a bit of all three to fit different muses. Have different nobles trying to outdo each other, do a game of spot the spy at the banquet/ball before its too late as an example. While others outside track down a thief or stop someone entering that shouldn't, if they want more direct action.

I'd like a thread that showed what people did in their off time. Minch put one up which was good for some downtime. I'd like that to be expanded to a dom somehow. Some big faction based event or small event to show the human side of the characters. Racing event or an ocean voyage for example. This could easily tie into the idea above, and is the point of it, to show a different side of the characters. Somewhere they can let their guard down a fraction to contrast a combat thread. For the combat heavy characters, they could be on security or on a more lighthearted training exercise, or they could be fixing up the ship. Where we go through calm waters, then eventually progress to a storm.

Hope these ideas help. I often prefer they get put into doms so to help the faction as a whole.

So the Staff has been looking at domming the Vena hex, which I found to be a prime location for political intrigue like you've described. Vena itself is governed by a monarchy, and has a history of having a society largely favoring an isolationist or independent policy. Fast forward to the Chaos era, and we could have a story revolving around competing factions looking to either open up its borders again to free trade and pursue a more active foreign policy, or continue to be isolationist.

We could work the crime storyline line as another plot. Maybe helping local officials look into the murder of a major business or political leader who had some significant influence in the above debate.

​You seem to be really good at crafting characters, so if you could help make some NPCs for this storyline to help make the experience more engaging, then that would be great.

Edit: I just noticed Umbara was free. That would be a great candidate too, as their civilization is all about getting ahead in a society governed by a caste system by any means.

We had some good success with a chill social event in one of our recent doms, so it would certainly be fun to try it again.

I think Cerulean may be a good candidate for a thread like this, as the SJO had previously controlled the planet before the cloud break of last year. Perhaps SJO members could attend something like a local strawberry festival or some other novel event.

​Our next thread planned dom will be the Chalacta hex, which possesses a mysterious alien temple that was made by Jon for the SJO as a reward for winning a faction contest.

​I've been itching to do some more exploration type threads, and have been toying around with developing some new hyperspace routes with [member="Gir Quee"] and [member="Allyson Locke"]. I'd love to have you on board and we can hash out some more exploration threads.

​I think this is something right up [member="Matsu Ike"]'s alley as well.

there is a lot of lore for horror and adventure in star wars you just got ot know where to look.

Also whirlwind adventure like in the Takeru thread to roam around the hellhoop a region of space we are somewhat near.

Be happy to sub some NPCs for use in the story.

Is a good choice for the horror thread personally, because of the lack of sunlight there.
