Nar Shaddaa | New Vertica City | du Vain Office
The absolute detest she felt for her sister's chosen, Morrow, drove her to an irrational place. Specifically: A place in a territory rank with villainy and scum.
It was here, on Nar Shaddaa, that Tansu had been pull enough threads that lead her to someone who might be able to point her to Morrow's current whereabouts. He was, allegedly, an agent of the well-known Zeltron. And an overseer would keep tabs on her agents, no?
Truthfully Tansu had no idea how these operations ran, and she might have asked Talsin for his opinion, but she know he'd think her ridiculous for the whole charade — so she shared neither her intentions nor her curiosities, lest he talk some sense into her.
"Thanks sugar, much obliged," — would be the first thing Mauve heard when her doors hissed open and in stomped backwater barbie.
Around the corner peeked Mauve's secretary, looking might sheepish and apologetic. Tansu stormed right on past and into the lavish room. She couldn't help but whistle at the sheer aesthetics of the place, low and impressed. Mighty fine room indeed.
But she had things to do and she knew she operated on borrowed time: "Howdy Ms. du Vain.
I promised your fancy calendar keeper I wouldn't take more than a chrono-tick of your time." She announced by way of introduction, tipping the brim of her hat at the hand-wringing gentleman at the door.
By the time she flopped into the chair across the desk from the woman and kicked her boots up on the desk, she wasn't sure if she should maintain the act of her sister or be more honest.
Did Mauve even know Talin?
Only this way to find out.
"I'm lookin for someone real special to us both. Maybe you can help me.
Where's Morrow."
