This won't get weird

A soft breeze rolled past Slade's face, the refreshing cold air giving a moment's rest from the never ending party that was Zeltros. But just like that the breeze was gone and neon lights surrounded him again with the sight of naked shadows dancing behind red screens. Cupping his hands around a cigarette the man flicked a lighter a few times before the sizzle of the cigarette sounded and he took a very long drag.

Exhaling smoke as he walked along the path of sin and lust he was here for a very simple reason, a date. He had met some chick on the holonet and well she seemed pretty cute so why not? He of course didn't use his real name which was Zambrano, but a simple screen name of Slad3 worked just fine. And well behind his whole devil may care attitude he was actually pretty excited about it, he was even wearing his favorite suit, a simple black jacket and tie.

But whoever this woman was he didn't want to complicate a simple date with things like "You're a spawn of that mass murdering maniac?" Those types chats normally killed the mood pretty fast. So as he walked along the neon lights he made his way to a small little back ally place that was famous around the Zeltros underground. It didn't have a name but there was one thing it did have, a simple large neon sign dangling over it's entrance.

So slade would simply puff on his cigarette and wait for this woman to arrive.

The byzantium Twi'lek Jedi from Cambria rarely ever got much time to go out on her own. Time was consumed entirely by training padawans, engaging enemies of the Republic, and running Nubia Star Drives. A busy bee was she. But she managed to convince herself to find some time to relax, to get away. Zeltros was after all the party planet of the galaxy. What better place to find some entertainment? She had even been so adventurous as to agree to meeting someone new to enjoy the evening. Generally speaking she preferred those she knew, it felt safer that way. If being a Jedi wasn't painting a big enough target on your head in public, being a Jedi Master was all the more cause for taking precautions.

Against her better judgement she kept her appearance plain, armor left back on Ossus. Such equipment would be less than discreet. Her sabers remained tucked away out of view. An invitation to a cabaret meant more fancy attire. She had managed to wrangle out something appropriate, a form contouring pastel blue ball dress. She wasn't exactly sure who she was meeting, other than his given name was slad3. A funny thing it was to hide one's identity from people you were intentionally trying to meet for whatever reason. Perhaps she was just naive, using her shortened name of S3ra, replacing the 'e' with a '3' simply because someone had hijacked her preferred name choice. Ah well.

As she approached the location to meet him she noted a gentleman outside smoking. A light smile graced her face as she looked at him. She recognized his face from the HoloNet. "Hi there. I hope I didn't keep you waiting long."

Minding his own business so far slade began to tap his foot on the ground to pass the time, taking another long drag from his cigarette he shaped his lips almost as if he were blowing a kiss then puffed out a grey ring of smoke. Almost shapeless as the first one usually was slade adjusted his lips and blew another smoke ring out in the air. His gaze shifted to the smoke ring and it's smokey form. It was fragile and weak, simply passing through reality until it dissipated into nothing. It was something he didn't like to think about really. Comparing himself to the smoke ring and how accurate it was. But before he could get too far into inner monologues a smooth female voice interrupted his train of thought thankfully.

Taking another puff on his cigarette he flicked some ash to the ground then exhaled smoke through his nostrils feeling a slight burn in the more sensitive areas of his nose. Throwing the smoke to the ground he stamped out the stick with a twist of his foot and expensive black leather shoes and turned around with a soft smile on his face.

"Certainly not, I just got here myself." he said with a pleasant but near neutral tone.

His eyes did a once over of the woman and he was pleased with what he saw, a beautiful pink skinned Twi'lek with tattoos. Those were the unicorns of that species and he was happy to be having a night out with one as beautiful as she. The only time he could really recall seeing another woman of her species and beauty was at a Hutt's pool party on some back water planet where a rancor got loose and started eating the guest. After everything had calmed down the sweet ass after party involved a lot of drugs and women, but that was a story for a different time. For now slade approached the woman and extended his arm so the two of them could walk into the club together.

"I'm Slade. This place has a few rules, dates, friends, couples, doesn't matter they need to walk in with a arm escort position. They try to maintain a certain look, but you look great and whenever you are ready to go inside just grab on." he said with a small smile that curled up against the corners of his mouth.

The Twi'lek smiled, her eyes casting down as she watched him stamp out the discarded cigarette by his feet, silencing its life just as quietly as it would surely do to his lungs. To each their own, though. She was not one to judge based on the habits of another, lest it was harmful directly to her, or forced upon her. He seemed well dressed though, and had a fantastic sense of style, so those earned him some points with her. At least he respected himself in a fashion sense. Her eyes caught his as he looked her over, sizing her up. She wasn't one to be overly shy, so she didn't pretend not to see him do it, but she also put little stock into first looks as they were often deceitful.

His gesture to offer his arm was met with a smile on her face, how gentlemanly. She extended her hand and took him up on his offer, or rather, took up the proper etiquette. She rarely attended things formal, so his mention of appearances and expectations made her a twinge nervous, though her facial expression would give none of that away. Her bright green eyes fixated on his, "It's nice to meet you, Slade. I'm Seraphina. Though, most people just call me Sera. To be honest, I don't even know why I introduce myself with my full name." Her hand rested inside the fold of his arm and she looked toward the door. "Very well, lead on." She had no idea what to expect when they got inside, this was entirely new to her.
