"No, I've never left the planet. Or even my tribe," Ava spoke, her voice changed back to the strict, nearly shivering one. She only hoped soon she could talk to Siobhan the same way she could talk to her father. Now that her father had abandoned her. What was going on in his mind right now? Was he feeling happy? Sad? Miserable?

He doesn't want me to learn fire.

"Where do we go first? Before we go to-" she wanted to ask, but she couldn't remember the planet's name. Kaeshi? Kashana? Kaeshana? Yes, that had to be it. "... before we go to Kaeshana?"

He restricts people's wish to learn.

Ava was starting to feel nervous. She would be going away from home, to some places she had never seen before, to admire their beauty or suffer from their ugliness and dangers. It felt... amazing.

Siobhan could see how nervous the young Shaper was and looked sympathetic. As restricting as being on Kro Var might have been, she had been sheltered there. Now she was going to explore the stars with a woman she barely knew. She could imagine that Ava's chat with her father had not gone well, but it was not her place to pry and push.

On occasion Siobhan could act at least somewhat tactfully instead of being like a kath hound on a trail. "We'll be going to Naboo. It's a beautiful planet. Magnificient lakes, gourgeous city. One of the economic hubs of the Protectorate. I got married there. Flight takes a couple hours," Siobhan said warmly. She had also fought her first battle against the Bando Gora, a savage cult of cannibalistic darksiders who worshipped dark gods, there. Then, acting on impulse, she suddenly pulled Ava into a hug. She kept the embrace loose, since she could not be sure whether the girl wanted the physical contact. Thus if she did not Siobhan would step back and release her.

"I can't promise things will be perfect, Ava, but I'll watch out for you," she spoke in a soft tone before withdrawing.

Touch is warm.

Ava was more than surprised when the woman grabbed her to give her a hug. It felt strange to get it from a complete stranger, and it made her feel a bit anxious and confused, and a lot uncomfortable. But she didn't let go, but embraced Siobhan back. Warmth came from physical contact.

Another body is typically warm.

"Then let's go to Naboo," she whispered after letting go of the hug.

Maybe Naboo is warm.

Siobhan was by nature a very affectionate person. So it did not immediately enter her mind that the sudden embrace might make Ava uncomfortable, though she released her when the girl pulled away. She gave the young Fire Shaper a smile that could only be described as maternal.

"Follow me, dear," she said softly, leading Ava into the ship. The interior of the yacht was spacious and seemed to come equipped with all the amenities one could ask for. It was essentially a sleek, mobile home when called for, with plenty of space and luxuries, such as a hot tub. Siobhan gestured to one of the comfortable leather couches, indicating for Ava to sit down there, before likewise settling down on one after removing her shiny leather boots.

Pretty Eldorai and Twi'lek stewardesses were there to serve drinks. "Pilot, take us into space. Our destination is Naboo," Siobhan spoke into the comm, whereupon she received confirmation from her minion. As the ship lifted off into the sky she looked at Ava. "Can I offer you anything, Ava? Something to drink - water, juice? The flight is a couple hours. So we have lots of time to talk. About you, me, Naboo, anything you want to," she said encouragingly. Since Ava had never left Kro Var until now, presumably the sight of the yacht leaving her homeworld behind it and then making the jump to hyperspace would be an interesting experience for her.
