To say that Hilal is in a foul mood would be an understatement.

The meeting over the Mandalorian's plan of attack went smoothly except for a certain, stinking Jedi who waltzed in unannounced. The Jedi claimed that she was invited but to come in and desecrate the land in which the Mandalorians worked so hard to build with her presence just didn't sit right with Hilal. The Mandalorians and the Jedi were bitter rivals even going to war multiple times throughout their history. Sure, the Sith were worse and the Mandalorians agreed to help but for fuck's sake did they have to intrude on their sanctuary like that?! The worst part is, she was no ordinary Jedi she was Valery Noble Valery Noble considered to be some God amongst all Jedi. Hilal remembered watching the Holo Tv interview with Holly Starstorm. The young woman almost gagged watching how stuck up Valery was it was repulsive. The way she carried herself: Aloof, thinking that she was morally superior than everyone around her. Just one look at her face, told Hilal everything she needed to know about the stuck up Jedi.

"And her face looks ugly too." Hilal muttered walking through the alleyway. "It looks like if a Waampa sat on it. Stupid Valery she things she's sssssoooooo cool. Lemme tell ya something, she's an utter chit. Just because the Alliance is willing to worship her doesn't mean she's an egoistical blowhard!"

"Hey!" A man yelled from a distance. "Shut up! I'm trying to sleep!"

"Sorry!" Hilal nervously giggled while she scurried straight for her shop.

"Fucking hell," Hilal looked over the mess side stepping one of the malfunctioning R2 Units Hex Hex bought from the junkyard as she began to make preparations for the long trip to Tython. Grunting, Hilal swiped the datapad from the table checking on the status on her Armor. "Repulsor Pack is having difficulty adapting," Hilal grumbled. "I thought I made a breakthrough......." Shaking her head, the young woman grabbed the Hydrospanner and approached her armor. "One of many repairs." Hilal with sadness in her voice. "The shifter broke in my armor again."

The meeting with the Mandalorians had gone fairly smoothly for the most part. Sure, there were some strange looks and a lot of yelling, but nothing she really hadn't expected coming here. Mandalorians were never known to get a long well with Jedi, especially not in the aftermath of the old Mandalorian Wars. But even now, thousands of years later, the relationship had only improved slightly. Perhaps only because there was a mutual enemy out there.

The only thing that stood out to her was the particular hatred of one Mandalorian — Hilal Vizsla Hilal Vizsla had been very strongly against her presence there, and others had to calm her down. But with the way Valery was, she wanted to figure out why Hilal felt the way she did, and at the very least leave with that understanding. She knew that changing her opinion was going to be difficult, maybe impossible, so it wasn't something she expected at all.

So after the meeting, Valery followed Hilal in the direction of her shop, and luckily, the rather loud woman made it easy to be followed. Valery passed through the same alleyways, and heard the interactions with others in the city, which she used as a guide to find the woman where she likely prepared for Tython.

"Shop open?" Valery asked, as she stepped up to the door and looked inside to try and find Hilal.

"You gotta be kidding me," Hilal sighed hearing that stupid, grating voice from Valery. She stalked her, didn't she? She followed her all the way to her shop for what? To challenge Hilal to duel? Of all of the times Hilal's security system was down, it had to be tonight. It would've been amusing watching Valery try to fight off her Droids, but alas the fucking bugs had to resurface forcing Hilal to rewrite the program..... again.

Yet instead of going back to her home planet to prepare for the upcoming battle, Valery decided to come her and bother Hilal?! Why?! Does this woman have a fucking deathwish?! Her mere presence is "Can't you read Jedi?!" Hilal hissed pointing at the digital sign next to Valery which read: Closed. "Why the fuck did you follow me here?! Don't you need to go back to your kind to prepare for the Sith?!"

She didn't dare look at Valery, Hilal treated the Jedi Master as if she would turn to stone the moment she looked at the Jedi. "Why are you still in our home harassing me?!" Hilal growled. "Talk! Or I'll unleash my Battle Droids on your self-rightoeus ass!"

"Can't you read Jedi?!"

Valery turned her eyes to the sign and blinked — she probably should have seen that, but she wasn't really here for the shop anyway. So it wasn't really enough to get her to turn around and leave now. Not before she had a chance to talk to this woman.... if she calmed down enough for that first.

"I'll be returning to Tython soon," Valery then began with a calm voice while she ignored the threat that was made. Knowing this woman likely had a big underlying issue with Jedi, she wasn't really bothered by any of the comments thrown her way.

"But I wanted to talk to you after the last meeting to...well, understand why you're so angered about my presence. I know the Mandalorians have a history with Jedi, but it felt different with you." Valery then briefly glanced around, not having noticed any battle droids yet, but she wasn't going to let them scare her off either way.

"Are you willing to talk one on one?"

"Yet here you are intruding my home with your ugliness," Hilal snapped back turning around. "You walk on my people's soil acting as though you're friend of ours. Don't be so ridiculous Jedi, we're not here to be your friend we're here to take revenge on the Sith."

The young woman rushed over to her cabinet next to the stairs grabbing her spray can spraying the entire room. "I have to cleanse the room of your filth." Hilal gagged. "Do me a favor and put a bag over your head so I can stand being in your presence."

"What's different?" Hilal growled. "You're a Jedi, I'm a Mandalorian we've battled for generations. Hating you is as natural as breathing of course you Jedi get it in your head that you're some heroes. Which is fucking hilarious considering that you're begging us to save your asses."

The young woman sighed looking at the broken Pit Droid in the corner. She bought that Droid back at Corellia after doing a contract, Hilal was looking to upgrade a Pit Droid so he could be a lead Podracer engineer as part of a personal project. She approached the Pip Droid carrying it and placing it on her table. Looks like this stupid Jedi wasn't going away might as well get busy. "If you haven't noticed little miss perfect." Hilal taking out a screwdriver from her desk and began to open up the Droid's head. "Many Mandalorians were disgusted by your presence, yet you targeted me."

"You make a lot of assumptions, yet you're not willing to actually talk about anything. But rest assured, I'm not here to be your friend, and I never came here to beg the Mandalorians for anything," Valery clarified while she remained at the door and watched Hilal. Until invited in, she wasn't going to step into her property.

"What happens on Tython might not affect your people directly, but it will have consequences for the whole Galaxy. None of this is about being friendly — we're fighting a greater evil together," Valery said before she paused a moment. The clarification on her part was likely only going to further frustrate the woman, but she didn't really care.

"But if it's really just that, natural hatred, then that's all. I just had a feeling there was more to it, and that we could at least accept each other to some extent. If that's not the case, I'll be going so you can work quietly."

At least Valery was respecting boundaries, Hilal didn't want her presence stinking up her shop. The shop that Hilal worked so hard to build up, the young woman continued to unscrew the bolts that held the hardened alloy casing together her eyes gazing warily towards the Jedi. "Oh really?" Hilal snorted taking out chip that she created and gently placed it on the table. "Yet you come to our planet acting like you own the place. Don't act innocent! I see through the lies of the Jedi!"

Hilal growled unscrewing the last bolt and removing the casing off of the Pit Droid revealing the wires and multi spectrum scanners. She began to pull some wires trying to make way for its CPU. "You don't think I know that?!" Hilal snapped taking out a mini flashlight from her jacket and placed it over the Pit Droid. "I know what's at stake Jedi! Stop treating me like I'm an idiot! As much as I hate your guts, I don't want you to lose your homeworld the way I lost mine!"

The moment Hilal said those words she paused her heart started to ache. She stared at the Pit Droid with tears starting to sting her eyes but she blinked them back. It was funny how Hilal had no memory of Mandalore but she felt the pain of losing it. She was born on Mandalore her parents sacrificed their lives to have Hilal escape. From what Hilal was told, she was born during the Sith Invasion of Mandalore. It wasn't fair that she didn't get to see the glory of her planet. Then again, when has life ever been fair to her?

"I know what's at stake," Hilal said her voice heavy with sadness. "Come in already, I don't want you hanging around like a dumbass. Some guy might think you're trying to rob me."

Valery rolled her eyes a little at the lies of the Jedi bit — she started to think Hilal really was just overly emotional and that any conversation with her was likely to become a waste of time. But the topic of Tython seemed to create a shift in the younger woman. She spoke about the loss of her own homeworld and Valery could feel the pain it caused her.

"I'm sorry if that upset you," Valery said while she offered a more charismatic smile.

She didn't come here to offend or upset the woman — she came here to create an understanding, and that's exactly what was happening now. This situation with Tython and having to work with the Jedi reminded her of something a lot more personal, so the more extreme or emotional response to it all was to be expected.

"Come in already, I don't want you hanging around like a dumbass. Some guy might think you're trying to rob me."

"Right..." Valery blinked and quickly stepped inside the woman's shop, where she briefly looked around at any tools and machinery before glancing back at Hilal. "Nice place you got here; seems cozy." The brunette smiled and kept her fiery eyes fixed on Hilal.

"Thanks, I guess," Hilal said continuing to disconnect the wires from the Pit Droid's head. "I stumbled upon this place when I was 8 years old. It was filled with junk and malfunctioning Droids. Now it's simultaneously my home and shop ever since."

"Your mere presence upsets me," Hilal thought at Valery's remark that if she upset her. The young woman hastily snapped her fingers sighing might as well make Valery feel at home. A B.R.U.H unit sprang to life marching towards Hilal and saluting. "Get our......" she sighed. "Guest a seat."

She stared at Valery. "Do you want any food?" Hilal asked. "I can give you some Cinnamon bread. Cinnamon is a good anti-fungal treatment, and you need plenty of Cinnamon to get rid of the fungus that is your face."

The young woman slapped her hand across her forehead frustration. She was digging herself deeper, part of her didn't care considering how Valery presented herself as some paragon of virtue during the meeting. Yet a small part felt that Valery was trying to reach out to Hilal attempting to understand her. "Let me start over again." Hilal forced a smile. "Would you like Tea Master Jedi? It's a fortifying beverage."

After entering the shop, Valery looked around but her gaze quickly settled on the droid that came to greet Hilal. With a seat being offered, Valery dipped her head gratefully and looked back at the Mandalorian, as she made another attempt at insulting her. But it hardly bothered Valery, who simply shook her head and offered a faint smile.

"I'm good, but thank you for the offer,"

She sat down and watched Hilal, who seemed to still be conflicted about the whole thing. Not too surprising, all things considered, but Valery hoped it would get a little better soon, "But some tea would be nice." She wasn't really hungry at all, but conversation over tea was always a lot more comfortable than one without.

"You can also just call me Valery if you prefer to lose using titles. And I don't think I quite caught your name before either...?"

The B.R.U.H unit immediately scurried to the back with the snap of Hilal's fingers. "I have a pouch of green tea left," Hilal mumbled angry with herself for even offering Valery some Tea. Hex Hex had consumed most of the Tea, figured the moment Hilal had the Tea to herself this stinking Jedi just had to take it. Life really has a sense of humor. "Why the hell did you come to our planet? Why not actually use the Holoprojector to communicate like a normal person? Your presence stains our honor!"

Hilal sighed heavily once again letting her anger towards Valery dictate the conversation. Shaking her head she once again forced a smile. "Forgive me Valery, I'm Hilal of clan Vizsla," Hilal took out the old CPU from the Pit Droid and replaced it with the modified one. "I'm a Bounty Hunter and was recently named a Forgemaster."

She smiled when she said she was a Forgemaster, it was the greatest moment of her life to finally be recognized by her people to join legends like The Quartermaster The Quartermaster her idol and other great smithers in Mandalorian history. "I'm the youngest Forgemaster to ever ascend." Hilal said smiling.

"Why the hell did you come to our planet? Why not actually use the Holoprojector to communicate like a normal person? Your presence stains our honor!"

Valery was about to answer the question that sparked from a moment of anger, but Hilal shifted away from it herself and even apologized. It brought a smile to Valery's lips,
"It's a pleasure to meet you, and to answer the question...." she paused a moment and looked at Hilal to make sure it was okay to continue.

"I came here to show that I'm willing to put effort into cooperating for Tython's defense. A holo-call would have been possible, sure, but some things are best handled in person. If the Enclave really wouldn't have wanted me to come to Kestri, I wouldn't have — but I was invited." She explained, knowing they still weren't too fond of her presence. But at the very least, she didn't come here without an invitation to just intrude on their meeting.

Hilal then spoke of her new role as Forgemaster, which Valery didn't know too much about. But her being the youngest to ascend to it suggested that it was a role of great importance for the Mandalorians,
"That's quite amazing — I'm sure the others are very proud of you."

"I don't believe you," Hilal snapped leaning against her chair while the B.R.U.H unit arrived with small cup of tea in her hands. "Here you Master Jedi." The Droid said placing the beverage on the table.

Hilal glared at the Droid who went back to its charging station, she really needed to program them to be condescending to Jedi but she keeps forgetting. "My people would never stoop that low to invite a Jedi like you on our planet." Hilal focused on inserting the chip into the Pit Droid struggling to fit the chip around the edges.

"They are," Hilal said trying to return to Valery's praise at least she was getting some recognition even from a stinking Jedi. "I had to work hard to get recognized. You that Droid unit? That's called a Beneficial Robust Universal Helper or B.R.U.H for short. It's a Battle Droid that will supplement the Mandalorians in battle. I've struck a deal with the Geonosians to create at least 500,000 units to send to Tython. So yeah, my creations going to fight and die for a bunch of Jedi that I don't know and hate."

Hilal sighed looking at Valery. "And you will take all of the credit." She growled. "Like you always do, I've heard of you Valery Noble. The perfect little Jedi who saved the Galaxy. You think you're pretty special huh?"

It was just tough to make nice with the Jedi, everytime Hilal tried to be nice her anger overrode her. Right now all she can do is to tone down the insults and she had plenty to draw from.

Valery accepted the tea and offered a brief smile, but what Hilal said after confused her a little,
"I'm lying? Just think about it logically — if I had come here without invitation and marched into such an important meeting, do you really think it would have gone the way it did? Your superiors would just do nothing and let me be there?" Whether she liked it or not, there was no way she could deny that. The Mandalorians either invited her, or they would have never accepted her presence the way they did.

With a slight shake of her head, Valery focused on her tea again for a moment while she listened to Hilal talk about her creations. That was, at least, until she threw out more accusations.

"You clearly haven't heard much," she said before putting aside the tea. "I don't care about getting credit, I've never claimed it and I certainly don't pretend I've saved the Galaxy," Valery said before she stood up from her seat.

"I'm going to be fighting on Tython for the same reason as most. To protect another world against the Maw; I don't care about anything else." Valery then smiled softly and turned her gaze to the exit of her shop. "Thank you for the tea and conversation, but I don't think there is much more to discuss. I know what I wanted to know, and I can't really change your mind. So I'll leave you to it, and I hope you and the other Mandalorians get through Tython okay."

Hilal huffed she was pissing off Master Valery and pissed off allies means poor performance in the battlefield. "Valery," Hilal grumbled. "Wait." She couldn't believe that she was doing this. Hilal had to make nice with the Jedi, she was handing and olive branch and she's ripping it apart. Hilal slammed the Hydrospanner on the table the parts of the Droid cluttering at the force of the Hydrospanner hitting the table.

The young woman sighed staring at Val's really evil eyes. Seriously is she a Sith or something because if she was, Hilal would've shot her dead. "Stay accommodating Hilal," She thought. "I'm sorry Valery," She said. "Let me make it up to you by building a brand new Blaster Pistol for free."

She planted her hands on her hips. "You'll probably throw it away," Hilal said. "But please take it as a symbol of my apology and an extension of our..... budding friendship."

Hilal wanted to gag after saying that but she maintained her composure forcing a smile on Valery.
