As the guard droids took place in the corners of the old repair bay, Jennifer started to move closer, her eyes still surveying the droid with mild curiosity. She had heard a bit about its story, but other than that she was unaware of its story, perhaps the only thing that was obvious was that the droid was a relic.
“Good, stand still now.”
It was surprising how fast and efficiently Jennifer worked once she begun on taking a proper look at VV7, tightening a bolt here and there, a hand grabbing the droids neck and craning it to inspect the joints that held it in place. She was rather careless in some way, not seeming to care a lot for the droid being rash and harsh when she moved it, not really waiting when it would eventually talk.
“Alrighty then…” She would mutter after a few minutes of very basic maintenance and problem analysis, a hand digging for something in her pocket. The clank from metal against metal would be heard a second after, as she slapped an immobilizer on the droid so it wouldn’t be able to move too much. She inserted a few cables here and there to keep track on the droid, starting to rework various smaller problems that seemingly was with the droids function, fixing its neck and making sure its leg were attached properly.
Half an hour later Jennifer let out a sigh and wiped her forehead, lighting a cigarette as she removed the immobilizer and stood, gathering the few tools she had used. “I suppose not you’ll need a memory wipe too, eh? Just send the credits soon enough.” She grinned, taking a puff from the cigarette before turning to walk off.
