PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Thirteen is lost. Much of their Imperial indoctrination has been abandoned, shed like a serpent's skin to reveal something new. To this end they simply seek to survive in the galaxy in an attempt to find their own way. In reality Thirteen is defined by what they are not: They have refused the call of the Jedi, refusing to give in to mysticism and instead seek to grow in the Light through empirical study. They have refused the impulses to become a Sith, growing tired of the pain and anguish the dark side has caused them and those around them.
STRENGTHS
Inquisitorial Training: Thirteen was taken in by the Inquisitorius from a young age and shaped into a weapon for their masters to wield. They incredibly skilled with the lightsaber, with a weaker grasp of the Force and its complexities.
Pain is a Distraction: Thirteen is ruthless, they are fully capable of powering through pain or bodily harm that may incapacitate others.
WEAKNESSES
Unsubtle: They were trained to be a blunt instrument, a blender to destroy the Empire's enemies. They lack the skills necessary to be subtle or covert, especially in social settings.
Inexperienced: What they needed was always provided for them, until recently. They struggle to understand concepts many others take from granted; such as monetary value.
HISTORY
What are a mother and father supposed to do with a force sensitive child? Some would seek to ignore it, hoping it never develops and thus allows their child to live a normal although usually uneventful life. Others may seek for their child to join the Jedi Order, to be raised in a tradition of peacekeepers who can aid their offspring in developing their powers further. Others still may seek to sell their child into servitude with the Sith; a fortune if one has the aptitude and lacks the morals for such a deal.
But what are a mother and father supposed to do when their child is taken?
Thirteen didn't know what their parents had done. Even to this day they lack the necessary information to even know which planet they had been born on. All they know is the brutal hand of the Inquisitorius around their neck, the beatings, the ruthless lessons to mold them into a weapon for the Empire. They served, with a passion and vigor trained into them from before they could even speak. Jedi have fallen to their blade, rebels crushed, and those with even a hint of rebeliousness to them shipped off to Imperial work camps by their decree.
However, they have outlived the Empire which shaped them. Abandoned on a collapsing Coruscant Thirteen lost contact with their siblings, fleeing into the depths of the city to avoid the Sith and their hunt for any who would dissent. They lived there, for a time. They struggled to find food, housing, safety. Everyone knew what they were and frequently sought to turn them in for both vengeance and greed. Their running only came to a stop from the kindness of a stranger. Not through their own might, rage, or training. But from a retired member of the Jedi Temple. Never a force sensitive or Jedi herself, but a simple librarian who had helped with the tasks many Jedi were too busy to attend to themselves.
This old woman took Thirteen in, gave them a home and ultimately so much more. This woman, Thirteen's adopted mother, would bestow upon Thirteen a great gift: a few scant tomes from the Jedi Temple. Yet that was not the most valuable gift. Compassion. The compassion and love of this woman for one who she had ought to scorn for all Thirteen and their siblings had done was far more valuable than any singular item or knowledge anyone could give them. The tomes may have had the technical knowledge of how to escape the dark, but it was compassion that pulled Thirteen away from their rage, away from their gloom, away from the dark and into the light.
Ultimately Thirteen would leave. Their presence too dangerous for their Mother during Coruscant's occupation by the Sith. Rather Thirteen would promise to return when the Sith had been removed, and until then they would find some way of repaying the compassion given to them.
