Things I can fix {Briar Thorn}

She felt relief as she heard him speak, knowing that his way of acting round her wouldn't be altered by the new information she had just given. She couldn't avoid smiling coyly and lowering her gaze to the ground for a moment upon being called graceful and noble. Many would have been surprised but it was not often that she received comments like that one. Oftenly the only reference made about her was simply how alike her Mother she was, which she also appreciated but being complimented like this certainly felt strange in a very good way.

"I am a Princess." She first said, answering his first question. She was looking at him again, the coy smile still imprinted on her lips. "Well...I don't really know in all honesty. I guess we could have. We just simply didn't. The ship we mainly stayed in was called the Pillar of Ascension. A large spacedreadnought that serves as the base to The Awoken. We had a very good life aboard it, plenty of space too. And many things to do. I guess I just simply hadn't considered visiting other worlds until I was slightly older..." She told him. "And...what's the countryside like? I have always been told a lot about cities and temples...but never much about the countryside. They say its beautiful." She added, her violet gaze shifting for a moment to the blue sky before returning to Briar.

Life is a game, so why not enjoy yourself?

Her eyes were averted to the ground and a coy smile touched her lips as he called her graceful and noble. Briar truly did see Iceis that way, even if no one else seemed to. He was not use to seeing people carry themselves the way she did. The way she spoke, the way she moved, the motions she made, they were all very different from what he had seen until now. The people back on Lothal moved in a easy yet purposeful way that spoke of the hard labored freedom they lived in, and was much the way Briar moved himself. The hurried steps and ignorance of what was going on around him of the people he had mostly been around in the cities and on ships since he left home. Those were not the way she moved though. She stepped with measured practice and an awareness of every action of her surroundings. He found it to be graceful and the word noble kept popping up in his head.

Briar listened to her speak about her time on the ship, and it only made him more curious about her life. He couldn't imagine a ship with space after having been cramped up inside of the engine rooms of the ships he worked on for transport. She eventually asked him about nature and that got a smile out of him. Briar loved two things in his life, working on mechanical things and nature. He thought of how to answer her for a moment before he said, " I can't really describe it to ya. Nature is a thing ya have to feel and experience for ya self. It is free and open and wild. It is what it is and what we be. If ya want to understand nature, ya just need to find yar self in it for a bit. I could show ya some time if ya like." He smiled to her as he finished speaking. It was the best answer he could really give to her, especially after some of the experiences he had had on other worlds. They had arrived at the shop and he opened up the door for her to enter through.
