They Don't Make Them Like They Used to

Tython, the home of the Jedi, a place of peace and serienty if most were to simply look, but under all that fine and lush jungle and past the walls of the many Jedi Outposts Tython held many dangers. Most, like the flesh raiders and wild beasts were easy to take care of, in the following years their territory slowly shrinking, no longer as brave to face the Jedi and their more firmly established defenses. Though they paled in comparison to the many mechanical threats that lurked within the many ruins lost to time spread out through the thick foliage of the planets trees. Such ruins contained a many droids from long ago, time in seclusion and their original programming being corrupted due to shear time, their receptors no longer able to tell friend from foe, attacking anything that comes near their domain.

It would come as no real surprise that few ventured into these ruins but for someone like Elise it was to much a gold mine to give up on. The history, artifacts and other lost treasures of the Jedi remained for the taking and in such a simple manner. Unfortunately it would have seemed strange for a young ill experienced women such as herself to leave and return from such trip by herself without a scratch to speak of. So once more the secret Sith had to have some hired help on hand to keep said dangers at bay while she worked, a somewhat trial thing to do but necessary to keep her cover. Her choice being a man by the name of [member="Arwen Hadd"], from what she could tell a somewhat newcomer to the mercenary world which was good, mean the person wouldn't be to pick on the job nor ask to many questions... hopefully anyways.

Right not Else was waiting at the public landing bay, awaiting her escort, the women leaning up against a wall, several small crates for equipment possible finds stacked to her side. "Any minute now".

Arwen slung the rifle onto his shoulder, before opening the door on his shuttle, stepping out. He took in a long deep breath while glancing around at the mountains nearby, taking in the view. He quickly checked to make sure he had everything, from a basic survival kit to his few blasters, and set out to find his employer. Eyes narrowed, he glanced around, and quickly saw [member="Elise Ike"] and took a second to look at her equipment and demeanor, before jogging over. Once he arrived, he stuck out a hand, asking "You're Elise correct? I'm Arwen, the guard you hired."

Her eyes shifted from a data pad in hand towards the male voice addressing her, Elise placing a hand to her chin as she looked over the mercenary in front of her. Simple but effective armor and weapons, something that would be within her price range if her line of work was her only source of income, he'd do well. Putting the pad down she stepped forward, offering her hand to shake while giving Arwen a polite smile, "That is me indeed, is it safe to assume that you are [member="Arwen Hadd"]? If so a pleasure to meet you, I will be in your care for the duration of this trip".

He shook her hand when offered, nodding his head when he heard mention of his name. He quickly glanced around, peering at the equipment in the crates. "So where do you plan on heading?" He finally spoke, and then, gesturing towards the crates, "And do you have a plan on getting there?"

Elise glanced back to her boxed equipment, "speeder, no way am I carrying all that up a mountain" even if she used the force to help. She remembered her trials back her centuries ago, the trek up to the ruins was a long climb for anyone. "As for location we will be heading to one of the many ruined temples around the southern side of the Jeid academy, the road is quite clear but the ruins itself are filled with old war droids". "Deadly in numbers and up close but a decent marksmen can make short work of them in no time as their armor is very out of date and corroded". "That is your main job, clear out areas and prevent anything from bothering me while I work, you are welcome to loot anything off those old droids if you wish too, though not sure if an 4000 year old vibro blade or blaster is worth much".

[member="Arwen Hadd"]

While Aewn handled the boxes Elise slipped into the divers seat, looking over the map and the route towards their destination, plotting the fastest path there. "All good and ready to go, hop in an we will be off, keep your blaster ready just in case, the wildlife while tame can sometimes be a little violent, never hurts to be careful".

Giving a small nod the speeder came to life with a quite wirr of the engines, it's base skimming across the grassy hills that made up most of the planes surface. Said ground soon becoming more hilly and rugged as a looking ruined tower looms closer in the distance, "we are getting close, have your weapon ready just in case".
