There's No Place Like Home (Ego)

[Nas Vua]

Location: Yuuzhan'Tar, Cave

Yuuzhan'Tar, the creche of the gods. Nas Vua loved this place, being his adoptive home and sanctuary. Here, he was surrounded by life. Not mechanical lifeless objects, but life. Everything here existed for a purpose, and his purpose at the moment was to meditate. He didn't meditate like humans, who preferred calm and peace. Nas meditates through pain as all Yuuzhan Vong do. Through pain he would be cleansed. So he took the jagged rock and began to saw at his flesh.

Flying towards the planet, the scientist quickly picked up his communicator. "This is Ego Solarsh and I'm approaching the planet now. I must land now in order to capture a glimpse of the living creatures in the planet. I-I-I...do you read me? Do you read me?" However, the doctor received no radio, his starfighter was most likely malfunctioning again, not something unusual for the doctor.

Flying into the atmosphere of the planet, the doctor looked around nervously, quickly pulling back a lever. The engines kicked in, increasing the speed considerably. The ship headed towards the ground before the doctor quickly pulled back on the throttle, straightening out the tip. It slowly touched down, the protective glass slowly lifting.

Dressed in proper apparel, the doctor climbed out of the ship, lit cigarette in his mouth. The scientist quickly reached into his bag which was slung over his shoulder, removing a Lifeform scanner, a grin on his face.

As Nas dug the jagged edge of the rock into himself, the blood started flowing. Then, something strange appeared. A flying box appeared in the sky. No, a ship. He remembered them from his first century of life, and they always carried people. Humans, scum. The heretics who dared forsake the gods. And now one was coming to his home. As the ship touched down about a hundred yards away, he stood up. He zoomed in with his eye implants onto a human which was looking at a device. His eyes turning red, Nas began to move towards the human as his finger spears slid into attacking position.

Ego held the device up to his eyes, almost instantly spotting the creature. "What an amazing sight! Look at the creature's size, it is giant!" The scientist said, joy in his voice. However, the other side of the scientist felt extreme fear. Slowly taking a step back, a smile appeared on the doctor's face. The scientist quickly climbed back into his ship, preparing to just soar away as he had plenty of time. Pulling back a lever to start his engines, nothing happened. ANOTHER MOTHERFETHING MALFUNCTION! Ego looked around, obviously panicking. He quickly climbed back out, staring at the creature with fear on his face.

Nas grinned as he saw the expression of fear on the man's face. He would be a good sacrifice. Once the man ran into the ship, Nas started to run. Then, he broke into an all out sprint. The man made the mistake of getting back out of the ship. Now, he was at about 40 yards. The fire spitters in his arms extended, and he got ready to make a kill. Then, it happened. A rock out of place. He tripped over it and face planted, which would give the human some time. Such a stupid blunder, he wouldn't let this prevent him from making the kill.

Then he rose...

He knew what he would have to do, convince the creature to at least give him a fair chance of escape...with ancient Yuuzan Vong religion, of course! Quickly clearing his throat, the Human began to speak slowly. "Greetings. I am Ego Solarsh! I apologize for this awful deed I have committed. Please spare me under the name of Yun-Yammka, the slayer. Forgive me with the name of Yun-Shuno!" The man pleaded, refusing to run as that may have caused the creature to think the Human was planning something hostile. "Allow me a fair chance to escape, using the honor of Yun-Yammka!" The man said, now waiting for a response.

Nas slowed down, coming to a stop before the human. The man was obviously frightened and was begging for a chance to escape. Ego Solarsh. He then spoke the name aloud, his deep voice almost a growl. "Ego Solarsh. Why are you here? How dare you speak the names of my gods while dishonoring them at the same time!" He crouched down, now coming to eye level with the man. "You have 30 seconds to run before I kill you." He stated simply.

"Thirty seconds? That would result in tragedy!" The scientist slowly took a step back, clearing his throat. Holding his communicater up to his mouth, be began to speak. "I am in need of assistance. I am currently frightened beyond the capacity of...rational t-t-thinking", The scientist stuttered, but received no response.

"Please...you must understand! I pose no threat to you, I am simply begging for mercy! Yes, I've committed an awful deed of using modern technology but please, you must understand that it was the only way to arrive here. I did not intend to land here, I swear!"

The scientist said. This was not true but it somewhat sounded good.
