Siobhan gave the tiny redhead a small smile. Shopping sounded fun! There were so many fancy pieces of clothing that Coryth's closet really needed. "Retail therapy, huh? Sure, I'm game. Buy you some nice things. We can have a day out in town, buy stuff, then have ice cream and watch movies," she said brightly. Leaning towards Coryth she gave the smaller woman's hand a gentle squeeze and planted a kiss on her cheek. By Sio's standards the kiss was fairly chase. After all, Coryth was dealing with heartbreak and the Countess did not want to be pushy. On occasion she did try to take the feelings of other people into account. There was a knock on the door and then one of Sio's servant girls entered, carrying a tray with plates that contained their breakfast along with cups of Atrisian tea.

"I know, right? Never dreamed you'd see the day where I said those words. Just seems like it might keep my mind off of things for a little while." She said quietly. A slight smile formed on her lips at the kiss. With the knock on the door, Coryth glanced over to see the servant enter with their breakfast. Stepping over she carefully grabbed her plate and settled back down on the bed to eat her breakfast. "Really that's all I want, just to keep my mind off all of it."

Deep-down Siobhan felt pleased about the fact that her evil plan to corrupt Coryth was working. One day she would even make the tiny redhead love shoes. "Ok, sweetie. I'll do what I can to keep your mind off things. We can go to The Lady's Haven, if you like. I believe you have a discount there," she said sweetly. Because Siobhan was feeling rather lazy at the moment she simply grabbed a plate with telekinesis and pulled it into her grasp, lying back to eat breakfast. Presumably orthodox Jedi would disapprove of such a frivolous use of the Force, but it's not like the Countess cared much.


"Eat heartily, dear. Don't want you starving on me," she said encouragingly before cutting an egg and swallowing half of it, then taking a bite from some bread with salami. Fortunately she had progressed a lot from the time when she had been a combat boot-wearing slugger from the gutter, so while she ate a lot she managed to do in a reasonably graceful manner.

"I appreciate it." Coryth said softly, considering the rest of what Siobhan had spoken, for a brief moment. "As long as we don't have a visit off into the special little side room, I don't think I'll mind." She then sighed, "That's just the last thing on my mind right about now, you know?"

She nodded, as she slowly picked around her food. Though she managed a few bits of a pastry. "I promise, I'll try. Just not very hungry, if truth be told. Guess I haven't really been since I got back. Just one of those things I guess. Different kind of stress, not one I'm familiar with. Never done this kind of thing before." She gave a shrug after that and at least tried to eat.

Siobhan nodded understandingly. "I didn't think you'd be interested in that. Contrary to popular belief, I am actually capable of controlling my lust when I feel like it. We'll just go to the shop and buy some fancy stuff for you." Many people actually visited The Lady's Haven without ever learning about the special little side room. Such as a certain Eldorai super scientist.


"Try to eat a bit at least. You're not gonna starve on my watch," she added firmly, then likewise focused on her breakfast, though part of her felt a bit bad about the fact that unlike Coryth, her appetite was quite significant. Eventually finishing her plate, she put it aside for a maiden to pick up, then got up and arose from the bed. "I'll go shower and get freshened up. Back in a bit." However, after she left the bedroom Coryth would not be alone for long, for an adorable furball was sneaking in the room and quickly jumped on top of the bed.


There was an apple lying around on the tray, then the furball quickly swallowed it wholesale! << Nice Red-mane sad? Grrbyrr like Red-mane >> Grrbyrr spoke as politely as a Jester could, nuzzling the little redhead's foot. Maybe the little Jester sensed to a degree that his mistress was going through a hard time.

Coryth nodded, "I just figured I'd say that now. That's all." She managed a small smile, "Nice things, sounds lovely. I just need to forget for a while. It still cuts too deep. And I wish I could be angry, but I'm not capable. Not like this. Disappointment is ... damn, it hurts worse than being angry. Angry is such a short emotion, a bright flame, quick to burn out. This, this is deeper than that. And not so easily erased."

Coryth sighed quietly as Siobhan mentioned food, not her favorite subject right then. "I promise I won't starve. Not if it's just one meal. I'll try nonetheless." Coryth then waved Siobhan on, "Go, shower. I'll be here." Not like I have anywhere else to be.

Her attention was soon drawn to a little furball by the name of Grrbyrr. "Well, hello there little one." She pulled a small piece of fruit off her tray and offered it to the Jester. "And yes, yes I am sad. It's complicated I'm afraid."

Alas, Jesters were...not very intelligent. Sort of dim actually. So there were limits to how much Grrbyrr could understand his mistress, though he was certain that he liked her. After all, she was nice and gave him treats! Not like that meanie Tegaea, his eternal rival for Siobhan's affections.


So Grrbyrr quickly swallowed the piece of fruit Coryth offered him and purred, licking her hand. << Grrbyrr like Redmane ! Not like sad >> he responded via telepathy, trying to make what affection he felt bleed over via his natural empathy, then curled up against her.


It was at this moment that Siobhan returned to the room. Her hair was still dripping wet and she was covered by a rather brief towel. "I shouldn't be surprised that our little furball found his way into our breakfast," she snarked, stepping towards the bed and ruffling Grrrbyrr's fur a bit.


<< Red-mane sad. Grrbyrr not like. Bad person make her sad. Want to bite mean one >> the little Jester declared gallantly. Fun fact, his teeth were rather sharp, so being bitten by him was quite painful.

Jesters might not have been that intelligent but it was making Coryth feel a little better to have a furry companion. She actually truly liked the little creature. The redhead had yet to be given cause to dislike the little things.

"I don't like sad, either." She replied quietly.

Coryth glanced up as Sio entered the room, lightly stroking the Jesters back. "Oh come now, he was hungry, I was just sharing." She said sweetly.

A smile finally crossed the redhead's lips briefly. "It's okay little one. It will be fine. Plus it'd be a really long trip to bite the one who made me sad."

"I like Jesters, they are completely adorable." Clearly Coryth needed another pet to add to her collection. And it did seem like the creatures were doing a good job of cheering her up.

<< Me like Red-mane >> Well, Grrbyrr certainly liked this one because she gave him food. As for it being too long for him to bite the mean man who had hurt Coryth, well, where there was a Jester, there was a way! There was no doubt about that. In any case, since Potteiger was not going to appear any time soon, the adorable furry snuggled against the redhead.


"They totally are adorable. I could get you one. Just make sure that Mittens doesn't think you brought him a new snack," Siobhan joked. "You wanna get dressed and then go to town? Buy you some nice things." Retail therapy was best therapy.

"I like you too, little one." Coryth said quietly as she stroked the Jester gently.

"They really are." She smiled a little, at least happy at the thought. "I'd love to have one. I'm sure I can convince Mittens that a Jester is not a yummy snack and or toy." A nod followed as Coryth got slowly up and walked over to the closet, to fish out a couple pieces of clothing. Still being shy about her body, she headed to the bathroom to quickly change into a well worn pair of shorts and a simple tank top. Coming back out, she did try to keep smiling, thinking happier thoughts, "I'm ready whenever you are, darling."

"Excellent, sweetie. Then come with me," Siobhan said happily. Wasting no time, she took Coryth's tiny hand into hers and gave it a gentle squeeze. She would have probably been even more affectionate, but the tiny redhead was dealing with massive heartbreak and stuff, so that probably would not have been wise.


"Let's go raid the shops. The Lady's Haven is waiting for you!" Presumably this time there would be no non-PG-13 antics in the backroom for the aforementioned reasons. In any case a shuttle, piloted by one of Sio's many minions, would be waiting for them outside. The trip to the Skyport would take a bit, but on the bright side Coryth would get a good view of Santaissa if she was so inclined.

Coryth squeezed Siobhan's hand tightly and sighed as they left the house. At least today, for a little while she'd be able to forget, which was what she truly needed. Just a brief time where she didn't have to remember. And Siobhan, her more or less adopted family certainly would help. She needed her Sio today.

"I imagine you never thought you'd get me willingly to go shopping." She said with the slightest traces of a smile forming upon her lips. Truthfully Coryth had never imagined her interest in such things either, but here she was. At least willing to go. Who knows if she'll remain as interested as the day went on.

Once inside the shuttle, Coryth's eyes drifted to the city below. The picturesque views, were a good distraction for the time being. "Never really paid much mind before to the city, and what it looked like. But it's quite lovely."

For her part Siobhan looked rather smug. "I am a wise and powerful Dark Jedi Master. I have my ways. Stick with me long enough and you'll love shopping," Siobhan declared dramatically. No wonder that no woman could resist her charms. Well, except [member="Phylis Alince"], [member="Delila Castillon"], Elanil Saedaris, Mia Monroe...aww, those were just details! Besides, one day Elanil would be hers.


She fondly stroked Coryth's beautiful firemane. Given how much red she already had, maybe pink nail polish would suit her. "Yep, it is lovely. Always love flying over it," she said wistfully. Soon leaving the city and indeed Kaeshana behind it, the shuttle pierced the atmosphere and headed for space towards the Skyport. The space station was a massive facility with multiple huge levels dedicated to all manners of distraction, from food and drink, to weapons and entertainment. There were, inevitably, people who had taken profit of the situation and so there was a little ‘Red-Light’ district on the station. However, for a change we shall not be visiting that. No, today Siobhan and Coryth would raid the shopping malls.

Somewhere, somehow, Phylis let out a “Hmmph…” but wasn’t sure why….

Coryth couldn't help but giggle at Siobhan's words. "Well clearly there is some truth to that, since I'm on this shuttle, and we are going shopping. Clearly you must have some special kind of magics to woo a Jedi Master such as myself." She teased, playfully. Clearly her mood was improving a little as they were heading off to the Skyport.

"It kind of makes me wish I'd paid attention sooner. But I guess I've been in such a hurry these days that I never have paid too much attention to where I am at and the general beauty that surrounds me." It had been something Coryth was thinking about, and perhaps planning on changing. After all, these days Coryth was more settled down than she had been in ages. She actually had a home, well an apartment, and still had her sailboat. Not that she did much sailing these days. Coryth slowly leaned into Siobhan's hand as she stroked at her hair, enjoying it completely. For the moment it seemed like Coryth had at least temporarily forgotten her troubles.

"I guess that just means I need to drag you to more fun places, huh?" Siobhan declared cheerfully, though the meaning of Coryth's words did not escape her. Maybe the adorable redhead could now finally settle down, now that she had a home and people who cared about her. As for her boat, it was awesome.


In any case the shuttle docked and Siobhan led Coryth out of the hangar. After a few formalities were dealt with, our two heroines headed towards the temples of consumerism and fashion. Ironically enough quite close to where Laina and Siobhan had gone shopping for little Morrigan. The Trinity of Ashira's Mall, Silaqui's Secrets and The Lady's Haven beckoned...As for [member="Phylis Alince"], well those boobs totally needed a bra from Silaqui's Secrets!

"Maybe it does." She said with a sly little smirk upon her lips. It wasn't something Coryth was ready to admit to just yet, but she didn't mind this thing called shopping. At least not as much as she used to. And right now, it certainly was a welcome distraction.

As they stepped from the shuttle, Coryth stayed close to Siobhan taking her hand and squeezing it tightly. She for her part just wanted a bit of closeness and to not feel as alone as she had felt before she had gotten back to Kaeshana. "So where to first, Sio?" She asked, not knowing the place that well.

Siobhan had an evil plan in the works. Well, sort of. Introducing Coryth to lipstick was on the agenda. She gave the redhead's hand a good squeeze as she led her across the hall. If the firemane wanted closeness then Siobhan would be happy to oblige. Besides, she liked the view. By now she liked to think that she had a good idea of Coryth's measurements, which was useful when it came to giving her fashion advice.


"Ashira's Mall. It's right over there," she said cheerfully, pointing towards a rather large clothing store that seemed to be bristling with goods. A big sign proclaimed that today there would be a 12% discount for all articles of the Spring Line! "Come on, darling. This is just the place to be. It also has its own cosmetics shop," she said cheerfully. So many nice shoes!

This one can only imagine how well introducing Coryth to makeup would go. She'd never worn such a thing in her life. The poor dear would have no idea how to react! And indeed Siobhan did have a good idea about her measurements, very intimate knowledge of such!

Coryth seemed a bit surprised by the size of the clothing store. Though, she admittedly probably shouldn't have been, but alas Coryth rare visited such places. "Cosmetics? I've never really even worn nailpolish beyond once Sio." She said quietly.

Walking into the store, Coryth was immediately drawn to a rack of dresses. Sorting through them she came to a lovely red lace dress, and pulled it from the rack to admire it. Perhaps a little eccentric in style but it seemed like something Cory might wear if she actually bought clothing more than once every ten years. "This seems nice." Spoken softly, and almost unsure. If it sounded like Coryth held no confidence in her choice, that assumption would not at all be wrong.

"Nail polish is on the list. Pink looks good on you. So is lipstick. I like cherry-flavour," Siobhan said, then smiled when Coryth's eyes were drawn to a nice red lace dress. A bit eccentric, but it fit Coryth.


"Nice? It's beautiful. You'll look lovely in it, darling," she declared. "Come on, let's go to the changing room. You can try it on." She did not even bother look at the price tag! She also spied a sexy little black dress. "That's gourgeous as well. Exactly your size." It was probably no coincidence that it would accentuate Coryth's breasts.
